I came here out of town from Philadelphia and my friend recommended Thai Select. The Pad See Ew was excellent and Prem made an amazing mango mojito and maithai—I will be sure to come back for happy hour again or dinner!

This is a nice hole in a wall spot. Their food tasted funny, like a dirty rag. Like a rag that has been used for a long time. My friend wasn't able to finish her food because of the taste. It was the same for the drinks. They really need to change their rags.

We were a group of seven and picked this mostly because of the location. We were expecting to get some lunch specials, but were told they were not doing the lunch specials, even though their menu showed it available all days except holidays. The server took drink orders from half the table, then left and had to be called back. Never asked if we wanted a second or something else. As for the food, it was nothing special overall. Maybe we ordered the wrong things and should have ordered more curries. Appetizers: curry puffs were not flaky and the contents of the inside was indiscernible. The peanut dumpling was chewy and overall just ok. The shrimp dumplings were the usual one gets in a mediocre Chinese restaurant, not specifically Thai, thus a disappointment. Edamame, nothing special, but fine. The Tom Yum soup was excellent, although only mildly spicy. Entrees (Pad Thai, BBQ Pork w/Thai salad, Chicken in basil sauce) were adequate, nothing was outstanding. The fake duck dish was very good, also billed as spicy but was mild. While I'd recommend it to a friend, it would be "good, but not great; go for the convenient location."

The service was good. Food was good not great. Dish size was on the small side-I did wish the portions were larger. I will return to try other specials (restaurant is near Madison Square Garden and I go there frequently). Give this restaurant a try.

Food was amazing. Was not expecting to it to be that good. Ended up ordering more food than we intended because it was so good. The wings were a little sweet but that’s personal preference. Great deals for drinks during happy hour. Will come here again next time I’m in town.

Food was very good! I had a vegetarian duck in basil sauce, and ny husband had that with ginger sauce instead. Both were very tasty. I would have a hard time telling it is not a real duck. The atmosphere was ok, nothing fancy. There was loud latino music blasting from the kitchen, over the music that was playing in the restaurant, that took away from the mood.

Spent the night in NYC for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Wanted to do something different that we couldn’t get around home so we chose Thai. Picked this place due to the reviews and they didn’t disappoint. The food was unbelievable. Highly recommend. The decor was really cool as well.

Delicious dinner with 6 ppl before we headed to Hammerstein ballroom for concert. Great for pre-theater as well. We shared everything (5 appetizers and 5 dishes for 6 ppl) and everything was delicious.

Close to penn station/msg. Great food and fast , friendly service. Full bar with drink specials and room at the bar to eat. Great decor and the place Is very clean. Three of us had tasty apps and three Great meals. We ordered the apps and while we were having them, we ordered dinner, which came out just as we finished the apps. Definitely going back!
