Excellent, exotic, intense flavors! The coconut pannacotta was sublime.
We love this place. Food and service are excellent. Will return again and again.
The wait staff does not communicate well making it a bit challenging to order or learn about the menu.
Great food, ambiance, and service. Servers very pro but casual and friendly, like this place a lot!
Surprised by good wine list too.
The food and service were great. The food was the same as we got in Thailand
Always great food and wonderful service! I just enjoy the place.
The atmosphere and look of this place are phenomenal! Hostess was awesome. Started out pretty noisy and then got mellower.
On the downside, both of our dishes were a bit too salty, and at the same time otherwise slightly lacking in flavor. If I had tasted even a hint of garlic in my curry it would’ve made a world of difference. I also thought it was hilarious that the curry came in this enormous bowl (great portion size!) but with a pretty tiny cup of rice; so quickly there was nothing to eat my curry with. Sadly the waitress never really came back to ask if anything else was needed after the first time so a lot of it ended up going to waste.
Overall a good experience, I will recommend it and will definitely give it another chance to see if other menu items are a bit more flavorful. Could have just been an off night for the cooks!
Love the food and ambiance. Been recommending to all my friends.
I made a reservation two weeks before and requested for a table on the first floor. They sat us in the worst posible table on the second floor. They told us the empty table on the first floor was for a party of 4; however they later gave it to a party of 2. The service was terrible this time.
The moment we walked in it felt like we were transported to a Buddhist Serene Haven!
So good!! I had vegetarian fresh spring rolls and pineapple fried rice, and both tasted great. The fried rice tastes just like the one you get in Thailand.
Delicious food. Fine service. Enjoyed a great meal.
Great value! Staff was very helpful for those of us not familiar with the menu and multitude of options available. Enjoyed the dishes very much!! Not shy with the portions. Minor drawback is the limited wine and alcohol selections.
What an amazing find. I wish we lived near Long Beach because this would be my go to Thai restaurant. We kept it simple and vegetarian. The tom yum, drunken noodles and veggie wraps were delicious. It is also a very picturesque setting.
Excellent interior and really delicious/affordable Thai food. Definitely would bring a date!
Thai District is the most beautiful place to enjoy the variety of delicious food served by very gracious staff. Every meal I have had there has been fantastic. They allow you to customize your protein with many vegetarian options, as well as the level of spiciness. Being at Thai District is like a mini exotic vacation.
First time, ordered dinner. Both the chicken Penang curry (medium heat, was plenty spicy for me) and Crying Tiger dish were very good. Not many places julienne the kaffir leaf into the curry but they do here and it makes the flavor a little more special. Ordered a cream soda and received a green soda. Not sure if the green soda IS cream soda but I didn’t care for it. Had a very sweet, artificial taste. Like everywhere else in this area of LB, if driving yourself, give ample time for parking and walking.
Great food and great service
Drunken noodles are a must
Beautiful place, amazing food.
Parking is the worst in Long Beach, no handicap parking available causes major delays.
Some of the best Thai food in Long Beach! My friend and I really enjoyed our meals. I had the pad see ew and he had the green curry. The peanuts they serve upon being seated are also really delicious! I would definitely come back and bring my whole family.
The food is outstanding!!!
Excellent red curry (even the next night with leftovers...
Creamy, yummy Tom Kha... great soup...
Excellent, friendly service, reasonably priced, very nice interior.
I look forward to another visit.
Delicious food served beautifully. Service was excellent.
Happy except I noted that it was my sister’s birthday and they didn’t acknowledge that.
Best s. Thai Food in Long Beach ! We went for my Best Friends BDay. Everything was on point from the Drinks to appetizers. The service was outstanding. We never waited for anything. The server was very attentive. She had some great recommendations . The staff definately went out of their way to make the evening special. Will definately be coming back for special events as well as regular dinning.
The food was great! We were in the downstairs dining room.m, super small and the tables are too close together.
Restaurant was good. But right now with street construction parking and driving in the area is a hassle.
The cozy ambience and beautiful decor create a relaxing and intimate setting for dining. The food is always exquisite with its rich flavors and tasty authentic Thai dishes. I love the upstairs feel and the great customer service here.
It was a nice a great local restaurant. I would differently go on a date there. Or just eat alone or take friends there. The service was good. Next time I would like to eat upstairs.
It was a busy Saturday night. We were seated promptly but service was slow after our arrival. Food was good. The restaurant is two stories with only one single use bathroom.
We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrive. Food and service was great. I will definitely return to try more dishes.
Fabulous drunken noodles, great dumplings. In fact, everything we had was wonderful. Ate there twice in a week because i had lost my key and they found it so had to go back. Poor me. Just wish they were closer to West LA.
delicious original recipes mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Excellent service, Thai food not quite authentic but good and reasonably priced. Would return and recommend.
What a find! Outstanding Thai food in Long Beach. The entrance is actually on Broadway at the corner of Linden Avenue but the building in which it is located has the address of 149 Linden Ave. In any case, the food is genuine Thai and very creative. Spice levels offered are 1, 2 or 3 Chilis or "True Thai" and we opted for 3 Chilis. I wanted a bit more heat and was given three forms of chopped or dried chilis which did the trick. The surprise hit was Brussels sprouts, fast cooked in a wok with peanut oil; dried chilis and some special ingredients which were not disclosed (fine to have secrets!). Roast fish and three types of slow-cooked pork were also excellent, as were the accompanying riches. Definitely the place to go if you are visiting the Queen Mary or the Battleship Iowa.
Had a holiday lunch at Thai District. Food was fantastic! We enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. Only constructive comment was that we "lost" our server towards the end of the lunch (had to get up to find her to get dessert menu and the check). This might have been because we were upstairs. Other than that small issue, we loved it! Will definitely return!!
Delicious meal here to celebrate birthdays! Made a reservation a few days ahead. Very comfortable upstairs table for six, with a bench seat and 3 chairs with plump pillows. We ordered everything from the special page - kitchen sink chicken, soft shell crab, duck, lamb shank, salmon, and also spring rolls. I loved everything except the duck...the meat was a bit gamey tasting and dry, and the only thing that wasn't an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. We also ordered the coconut souffle and the lava cake. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and they brought us 3 bowls of ice cream with candles for our birthday boys and girl. Would definitely recommend and would go back!
