TGI FRIDAYS - Addison
Mohamed was attentive in his service.
This morning restaurant has always been slow. Once it took us 45 minutes to get our meal once we ordered. This time was 30 minutes for the appetizers alone. We were a party of 12 on New Years Eve so gratuity was already figured in. One of our burgers was raw and not edible but we didn’t want to send it back. The pasta was obviously under the warmer for a while since it was super rubbery. This place will be closed soon. On NYE it was only still 30% full.
TGIFriday's has some of the best baby back ribs in Dallas. Add in the Thursday special and 2 side dishes and it is a "huge winner!"
Sean our server was really good too.
Good service and a good selection of food with a full bar to enjoy a nice drink.
April our server was very attentive and pleasant
Good, convenient, newer Friday’s
Food is good
Eating at TGI Friday's reminded me of all the reasons why Americans no longer embrace chained restaurants. I haven't been to TGI Friday's in over 2 years, and the last time before that was 5 or 6 years prior. The only reason I went tonight was because I received a 20% off coupon in the mail - which they didn't even recognize was their own coupon. So where do I begin..? 1st, I requested a booth when booking on Open Table and the moron host sat us at a table with chairs even though there were over a dozen booths available. Then it took 10 minutes before our waitress came to our table. Then it took 5 minutes to get our drinks. Then it took 25 minutes to get our entrees. Then they screwed up my order and gave me a chicken Sandwhich, when I ordered a burger. Then I took a bite into my burger and it was medium rare even though I ordered it well done. Then I looked around and noticed numerous other people were upset. Two people complained to the manager. One person's alcoholic beverage was watered down and another person had been sitting there prior to several other tables who were all getting their food before them. The manager didn't seem to care. He was totally clueless. Instead of managing the restaurant and the staff, the manager was mindlessly running food to tables. A manager is supposed to lead, NOT reduce himself to doing his subordinates job. Beyond all of that, what was most disturbing is that it was 6:00 when we arrived, which is well before peak hours. 70% of the restaurant was empty. There were less than 12 tables seated and there were 6 - 8 waiters, yet everyone working there were running around like the building was on fire. It was total chaos. If this is how they operate at 6:00, I'd hate to see how they manage this place during the evening. It was a total s**t show! Never again will I eat at this 1990's throw back. It's a reminder of the bad old days when chained restaurants ruled the roost. Thank God those days are over.
Visiting my Grand Baby.
The ribs can't be beat. They have some of the best sauce that they put on their ribs. You get 2 sides with the ribs too. My issue is sometimes receiving my TGIF points involve jumping through hoops! I give my telephone number upfront so that my server can enter it ......yet about every third or fourth time I have to "contact corporate" to get my points added. Let me tell everyone out there, corporate does not make it easy either. It normally takes 2 to 3 emails before I find the right person to get the deed accomplished. Bottom line............the food is usually very good to excellent........getting the points can be easy right up to a BEATING!
Great food Great Value. Great service.
This was a last minute reservation. We were seated immediately. Did not like the original seating and we were accommodated with no problem. They made adjustments to menu items as requested. Overall a very pleasant family dining experience.
We sat & waited for 10 minutes & no one came to the table. We’ve caught eyes with 2 different waiters & the bartender & no reaction. We walked out and no one even noticed.
We went for the "Big Ribs" special and it did not disappoint. The ribs were meaty and came with 2 side dishes. We also had the potato skins. They have redesigned the skins, making them round and crispier. They were a hit too. The service was good so it made for a nice meal.
Nice visit. Server attentive.
Very disappointed. Made a reservation and they did not have tables prepared for our party. Waited to be seated, only had one waitress who was also acting as hostess and answering phone (she was doing the best she could while manager stood around). Drinks were good, when you could get one. Food was luke warm and just ok.
The service was not up to TGI Fridays standard. I'm not sure if I had a newbie server (possibly?)
My burger and fries were outstanding. Everything came out just as I ordered it.
Service was a little slow when we got seated then it went very well. The waiter had two others shadowing him everywhere and each time he came to our table.
Great service, food and family fun
Beginning to end the service was horrendous. No welcome from the host, Joshua the server was slow, he never offered recommendations, we had to ask for utensils, no refills on water and soda, he had no energy and it showed he didn’t want to be there. Upon leaving no one including Josh thanked us for coming. Did I mention that the food case out cold. 😡😡😡
Had a reservation. Showed up was told that they weren’t seeing anybody else. So after having a reservation had to leave and find somewhere to eat. Will not be going back to this location.
Good meal. Service friendly but slow, especially when paying. Did not seem to know how to use your own rewards system. Tried to redeem point, but was not given credit for the balance.
Great! I loved the service!
We came here for a bachelorette weekend, the service was bad and the food was as well. Anything we asked for it took atleast 20 mins to bring it. I Love TGI Friday’s, But i wouldn’t recommend this one
Met a friend for lunch. Very nice waitress and had the chicken quesadillas. They were good.
They have great spare ribs and on Thursday they are marked down. Forget barbecue places for ribs, TGIFridays is the place to get them. They have 4 different sauces for the ribs to choose from.
My wife and I really liked their old ribs.......now they have NEW meatier ribs which are even better! They went from 2 sauce choices to 4. The food is great and the service is top notch.
We enjoyed our meal - manager and wait staff were wonderful.
Was celebrating my husbands birthday...service was very very slow...after we where done eating we waited at least 30 mins on the ticket..our server was very polite, but overewhelmed. He did go out of his way to bring my husband a birthday ice cream, so that was nice. Overall they are short handed on staff which makes the experiance not so great. They also started live music at the bar when we leaving...If I would have know, thats where we would have sat.
Not busy, but service was friendly and solid and food was good - dinner meal salad and it was crispy, flavorful and nice portion
I've dined here before, this time was late at night and the place was an unbelievable MESS! Only one server on floor and manager nowhere in sight helping that person out with cleaning up or bringing food to patrons. I was hungry and since it was late, I stayed because there were few other dining establishments open. Plus disappointed that they were out of my favorite wine.
New management has made quite a difference on the positive size. Everyone is a lot more friendly and attentive. The rib special on Thursday's is a great deal. The food quality is a lot better too now.
Server was new. Friendly but forgot the small (free) appetizer.
Nice for family and friends. Good drinks foe happy hour.
Our waiter was particularly accommodating and nice and the set for Kaboom Town was excellent!
DJ playing great jazz
they did not have a reservation for us,even though i made it on the internet....food was good and crystal was a great server...........
I am not sure what is happening with this restaurant but whatever it is it's not good. I thought it was just bad timing that the last time I went to Friday's in Addison and we received terrible service but it seems to be the norm. Initially lunch started on a good foot but by the time our appetizers (15 minutes later) arrived it had already gone down hill. We ordered an endless appetizer and a regular order of hot wings (not endless) as we do not like the boneless wings. This information was provided to our waitress however what we received was not what we ordered. My husband asked the server the came to the table to get the correct order however we had to insist that we understand that what we ordered was not on the endless appetizers list. She took it away but not without some eye rolling. Needless to say we did get the wings we wanted but in true form the server failed to give us plates, extra napkins and wipes (hot wings are messy).
But before this happened we had to wait about 10 minutes to place our entrée order as our server did not come back to the table to take it. She waited and clened the tables around us but just overlooked our table. We had to ask her to take our orders and she seemed surprised that we wanted to order an entree. I'm not sure why she thought we came to the restaurant.
After being at our table for 55 minutes our food finally arrived but due to the timing of our lunch hour my husband was unable to eat his food and had to take it to go. Yet again his order was not entirely correct as he ordered the mashed potatoes and that was not on his plate. We had to wait another 5 minutes to get the potatoes.
I guess our server had the manager comp the hot wings but it was not enough to make our time at Friday's enjoyable. I wish we had gone some place else. I really wish the service was better as I really like the location of this Friday's but I just have to find another place to eat with better service.
Attentive server tried to get to know us & anticipate preferences.
Had a reservation on open table last night. When got there said they don't honor that and it would be a 45 minute wait. Wouldn't help us. We left.
