My sirloin was a little tough and a little undercooked as I asked for medium and it came out medium rare. But it was still good and I enjoyed it. I would go back again and again.

If you're looking for understated elegance with friendly, exceptional service, Texas is for you! The menu is filled with Texas flair and delicious offerings, none of which disappointed! We went to celebrate an anniversary and dessert was brought out topped with a sparkler that was lit tableside, with a blow torch! All in all, the entire experience was fantastic! We will definitely be back again

We usually love it here, best steaks around…but this time the drinks were terrible, the steak was overdone, and it just wasn’t a fun experience like usual. I have never had to use a steak knife to cut my steak here, but this time my “medium rare” filet was so chewy and tough that I left half of it on my plate.

My husband wedge said for me = huge! Entree’s we’re great! Grandson had 1/2 rack ribs sub’s green beans for cold slaw. Huge portion = need for take home box. I had beef tips/ potatoes/burnt corn. Tender meat & great flavor. Husband had fried shrimp/g beans/potato’s lyonnaise - large shrimp, great flavors. Split desert Apple pie a La mode- wonderful!’ This was the 3rd visit for my husband & I. Great find in Richardson for us!!

We took our son to Texas for his 30th birthday. The receptionists were very friendly and wished him a Happy Birthday. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. Our waitress was also very friendly, helpful on the wine and food menu's and also wished my son a Happy Birthday. We saw the owner making the rounds greeting other diners and his daughter Shellby came by and thanked us for coming, and also wished my son a Happy Birthday. The man in charge of music was extremely talented and we all enjoyed his performance. The food was excellent, the wine was great and the deserts were very tasty! We will be surely back soon with another part of my family.

Fast service from the time we went to the host stand to the time our receipt was given to us at the end of our meal. Our waitress was nice and proactive with refills. We had two different types of steak that melted in our mouths along with delicious sides. Shelby went above and beyond to make our night memorable. We would definitely recommend Texas to anyone. Everything from start to finish was delicious. I’m still dreaming of that raspberry jam that went so well with the fresh bread! Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I went there for the first time to celebrate our 45 wedding anniversary. The noise level was so high you couldn't here the live music. We both ordered the Delmonico steak, my wife was so tender and mine was very tough. My wife ordered hers medium and I ordered mine medium rare. Not sure if I'll go back for a second visit.

We went to Texas to celebrate Mother's Day and a birthday for my sister. It's not the first time we've been to Texas but this was by far the best time. It was made so by our server, Wendy, and by the owner and his wonderful, attentive staff by simply making you feel very welcome to their restaurant. It's a great feeling when the owner stops by and makes you feel like a special guest without any pretention whatsoever. Will absolutely recommend and go again...soon!

We ate on the Patio. Service was excellent early in the meal, but as the restaurant got busier, the service slide down negatively. We arrived at 5:55 and did not leave the restaurant until 8:35. The long delay to get a box and check out was totally on the server. We were there over 45 minutes longer than we wanted or should have been. Frustrating to have a nice meal at a nice restaurant start off excellent but end up very frustrating and delayed. Should not have been that way!

Reservation was perfect. Food was great. Server needs improvement. Had to ask for a drink 3 times. Asked for bread to go and it was not included. It was our anniversary and were told we would get a slice of chocolate cake. He never brought it after 20 minutes waiting so we left without it.

We love Texas. We come here for birthdays or just a fun date night out. The service is always incredible and consistent. We try new things on the menu almost every time we go and the food never disappoints. The owner has been there almost every time we go and always shakes the costumers hands and makes rounds to every table. Very personable and makes you feel valued as a customer. Thank you Texas!

Great atmosphere, the service was excellent. The Scottish salmon is magnificent! It's probably the best salmon I've had in the Dallas area. Crab cakes & Bang Bang shrimp are top notch. My wife also enjoyed here filet.

Our server Ben was amazing - And the lady who brought our dessert and said WOOOHOOO!! was the icing on the cake. I loved the ambiance and the service. Soooooo amazing. Honest the food was average but i do t care...I would go back here over and over because of the service alone. Hats off !!
