Breakfast buffet is also awesome!
The experience was just very poor. The food was decent but really nothing spectacular or worth the price charged. The service was terrible. It took over 20 minutes to just get a drink ordered. The drinks sat by the bar for so long before she picked them up and it did not seem as if the restaurant was very busy. The food came out staggered (by sometimes 20-30 minutes) to our group and the waitress who was very pleasant, was not attentive at all and did not come to check on us at all besides when bringing our drinks or food to us.
The service was not good and the food was nothing spectacular. I would not go back or recommend.
The food was very good and the service was impeccable.
The food was not on point today.
The waiter Eric was so pleasant and friendly and outgoing. He made us feel welcomed. The food was good as always and we really enjoyed ourselves.
SO dark! Can not see anything. Can’t see my hands. But a wonderful restaurant otherwise.
Convex/HPE alumni meeting during SC18: Good times!
Brunch was awesome... just remember it closes at 2
Really good food but prices a little high for the attention you get. No one seemed to be moving much. I long wait before someone came to seat us and a longer wait for a waitress to come to the table. Great atmosphere, maybe it was an off day...
Its a restaurant in a convention hotel. I should have known better, but my wife wanted to try it. The food was mediocre at best. A crab and artichoke was pureed to death, no crab chunks or pieces of artichoke. The same with the tortilla soup. My wife actually sent that back (the first time she has ever done that). My steak, a $42 ribeye, didn't really have any flavor.
If your stuck at a convention, I guess it would be okay, however, there's an abundance of wonderful restaurants close by.
My husband and I had the Breakfast Buffet and we Loved it. Highly recommend Texas Spice for Breakfast
This place has atmosphere coming out its ears and the view is amazing! You feel transported. The service and food was good but they did not clean up the floor after the brunch rush when we went Sunday afternoon at 2:30p and that's even after saying something. It was super quiet that time of day so it's great to sit and talk -definitely make the trip outside. it's just so beautiful.
Tequila old fashioned, meatballs, redneck burger, chopped salad, and warm chocolate chip cookies with ice cold milk. Everything was fantastic!
Everything from the serve to the end of the meal was just fantastic.
It was all amazing except desert. But they were gracious and offered our choice of refunding or exchanging so still a great experience!
The best ambience and loved the food, service and background country music!
We enjoyed all of our dishes and had a great glass of wine for a very fair price. Ambiance and great people. What more do you need!
Great food! My husband and I went there for our 10 wedding Anniversary to eat and we loved it! Food was so good! Short ribs were fantastic! We want to return to try the buffet!
The manager was very accommodating. The food was good;unfortunately, we got there late for brunch so the options were limited. Would love to try it again getting there earlier this time.
Our server Joshua absolutely made our night! He was great and had us laughing the entire time.
Best breakfast around!
There is always a healthy option, or not! The cinnamon rolls are amazing!
Great Sunday Brunch!! We loved the omelet station as well as the capability to get fresh waffles and pancakes. Will Definitely be back!!
I took my wife here for her birthday and the staff went all out to make it an extra special evening for us. They surrounded the table of our booth with roses and we were comfortably hidden away from the busiest areas. We had champagne, beautiful food and lovely desserts to cap it all off. Would highly recommend coming here. Huge thanks to our waitress and the other staff members who came by to offer their services.
Good service and food.
This restaurant has really gone down hill. Unfriendly hostess, Bad service, weak drinks, over cooked food and they pushed the buffet.....ugh! We use to ❤️ this place. So sad!
My friend had to Cioppino and was thrilled....
I chose the buffet and had a big spinach salad and meatloaf which was quite good.
A nice dining experience with nice pleasant casual wait staff.
WE ATTENDED THE DALLAS DENTAL CONFERENCE AND MADE RESERVATIONS AT TEXAS SPICE FOR LUNCH. WE HAD PROMPT AND ATTENTIVE SERVICE. GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE. WILL EAT THERE AGAIN.
Excellent ribeye steak and beer can chicken, mac and cheese appetizer some of the best I've had at a restaurant. Excellent place for a Anniversary!
Wonderful breakfast buffet! Have a great variety and prepared well.
Great buffet and nice place to eat with a group. Thanks
I travel here frequently on business and have never been disappointed with the service and wonderful food variety and quality at the Omni. Locals should flock here too. Not your ordinary hotel restaurant!
Written descriptive and reviews prompted us to drive 45 minutes to try this restaurant and have a nice meal. The food was blah. Touted as farm to table, it seemed anything but. Fried green tomatoes were heavily breaded with a 1/2 cup of dipping sauce. More breading than flavor or any substance. The buffet was ok, nothing outstanging. i.e. Mac n cheese with sage-sounded great, but, no taste of sage and nothing special. The third meal was a hamburger and seemed to be the best bite of the evening. If you are staying at the Omni and need a place to feed the kids, go there. Otherwise...if you are wanting something more than mediocre, try someplace else.
Food, staff, and ambiance were really nice. It had a big Texas feel to the restaurant and is a perfect fit for the Omni.
Went there for a business meal. They did not have enough staff on hand. It took an hour to get our food. Staff seemed frustrated. It was not a good experience after a long work day. Went there for another business meeting the next morning (not by choice) and service was also very slow then.
Great food. We actually did the buffet which was a great value and what seems like very fresh made food. Our waitress was atttentive and fun to work with. With both adults and our youngest. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We would do it again!
Chopped salad was fresh and flavorful.
Good food; great service in a nice setting........close to convention center
I was visiting from Michigan and an employee from the store next door suggested my friend and I try it. Had the brisket enchilada and it was great. They kept filling the nacho chips, so we were never hungry. Fun, good and fast!
