As much as you want your patrons to understand what is going on, I can't make out a single word when they wear those masks.. Either they have to be louder, or take 'em off.
My fiancé and I had a great experience and we will be back
Perfect for special occasions. Is a great culinary experience.
Things weren’t explained very well, not a lot of hot sides, only rice and mushroom sauce. Not a lot of variety for people not eating meat
The store was nice and clean. The foods were not good enough for the price.
Server was Tina, she was very attentive and we appreciate that especially these tough days. Meat service was slow
Will NOT be going back.
Food was not great, or even good. Salad bar was gross and soggy. All the meat going around was loaded with fat. The bacon was either raw and slimy or burnt. Our server was very extremely slow and didn't seem to care. She brought the sides over way before the meats started coming around. I ended up eating the sides as an app because I was starving. She never asked if we wanted refills on our sides. I never saw a bill. I had my credit card on the table waiting for a bill, she then took my card and went to pay the bill.
Oh the "special" drinks were weak as heck and too sweet. We had two, the second round was noticeably in a smaller glass and filled with ice. Too bad because this used to be a great place to eat. We will NOT be going back. No manager checked in on us either. Walked out just feeling meh, wish we went to Cantina Laredo.
Service was so. Keep the meat coming. I had to wait a long time for the next meat
Seated immediately upon arrival. Food was excellent as usual and the service was excellent as well.
Service was not very good Very small selection of meats and very overcooked and dry. Would not return to this location
good food, excellent choices. they could go a little easier on the paper, it over powers the flavor of the meat
The food was decent but the service was pretty bad. Waitress was very slow. We requested certain dishes multiple times and it took an hour for us to finally get them. What should, in my opinion, been an hour and a half max restaurant experience turned into a two and a half hour mediocre meal.
The guys who served the food was great. But or server was horrible my wife ordered a drink. Which the server recommended and never got it. Then ask for more bananas and never got thos. Ask for lemons for water got them halfway through the meal.
Food wasn’t as expected. Selection was poor. The only options offered were sirloin steak, flank and chicken. Service took forever to get drinks. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend.
Everything was wonderful.
Everything was great. The only thing I would comment is that the servers, etc. were a bit too attentive. We didn't really need our water glasses filled when we had only drunk 1/2 inch from them. Maybe a bit intrusive on "how is everything" - asked so many times. But that is better than the reverse. We had a wonderful time and food was all great.
It was a great experience and worth the money if you are willing to embrace the culture.
It's a dining experience! Amazing food and fun servers!
Food was excellent. Selection was excellent. Salad bar was excellent. Service was excellent. Ambiance was excellent. We will definitely be going back there!
The servers are great people can't say enough good things about them.
Loved the salad bar. Servers on meats very slow. Meat was good.
The food is nearly always excellent here. You'll always leave very full and satisfied. In general, though, it sometimes takes a while for the meat to make it's way over to your table, which can lead to waves of sitting, waiting for the next piece. This is probably to be expected, but ultimately it comes down to timing of preparation, which could be better.
The server was also pretty clearly wanting to get us up and out the door (cleaning plates that we had asked them to leave, for example). It's easy enough to grab another plate from the salad bar, but definitely led to us feeling rushed.
Finally, I would just suggest you not participate in their veteran donation program, if offered. Last time I went (several months ago), we were told our donations would be matched up to 50 dollars with a gift certificate to the steakhouse. Since we like the food, and a dinner there is ~50 dollars, we figured it would be a good idea to donate the full 50, and essentially get our next dinners there free. We received 10, 5-dollar coupons. You can only use two per *table/reservation* (not even per person), and they expired within a ridiculous amount of time (3 months) for us to be able to spend them all. The icing on the cake was that, it turns out, you *also* can't spend them on Fridays or Saturdays (I guess because... That's when you're most likely to be there?), which is when I happened to go again. They wouldn't accept 2 coupons (10 dollars off) against our nearly 400 dollar check, which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
Essentially: mediocre service, great food.
Overall service was good. But found us waiting several times for servers to get around to our table.
Always an outstanding meal at Texas de Brazil. No one should ever leave hungry.
Delicious food! Everyone enjoyed their meal even the 1 1/2 year old. We are looking forward to going back in the near future.
Good...better than last time
Still slacking on the meat coming around and choices
Hire enough workers to accommodate the customer levels you seek to have
The waitress was awesome - Alyssa! The host was a bit off putting as we arrived early and still had to wait even though there were open tables available. It was very loud which made it hard to talk while on the date, but I don’t think that was the restaurants fault.
I was so looking forward to Texas De Brazil. Many people had said how great it was. I was not impressed! The service was good, the food was ok, but it was way to loud. My wife and I went here for our 19th anniversary and we couldn't even talk to each other across the table it was so loud. I could not even hear our server and had to ask her to repeat things several times so I could hear what she was saying. Now as far as the food goes it was "ok.' But for what you pay I was expecting a lot more. The lamb was over cooked, the filet had no flavor, and the pork was dry. Have to say this was my first and last time going to Texas De Brazil. Not a fan.
The meat servers were a joy to chat with as they came around with their various wares. They always came back with our requests. I got a free dessert for my birthday. That was an unexpected surprise. It's hard to imagine wanting to go to the salad bar in the presence of so much wonderful meat, but the salad bar offerings are wonderful also.
Super slow service. They only had 3 servers available for a busy night and no good red meat were coming our way as often. we barely got to see our server and she took so long to get our drinks and bread but that’s because it was so busy and she was 1 of the 3 servers on the floor. food was okay. meat was salty. had a better experience the first time.
I've been to TdB several times, at multiple locations, including this one. The service was outstanding, but the food wasn't as good as it usually is. The meats were under or overcooked, and some were way too salty (sirloin) whereas others were not salted enough (the beef rib). The salad bar lacked a few items that are normally there, and some things were undercooked (asparagus, green beans), and some items didn't have utensils to serve or proper utensils to serve. Our sides came way too early (plantains, mashed potatoes, cheese bread) and the plantains were not—they were just bananas, which was sort of gross. We will be back as it's good value and a nice experience, but I hope the meat/food is back to its former standard soon.
The meat handlers didn’t come around as much as they have in past visits. There wasn’t as much of variety of meat to choose from.
Went for Father’s Day with husband and 3 sons. Got a call 3 hours before to confirm reservation which was great. Maybe I should have inquired about menu, some items I saw online weren’t served, lamb chops. Salad bar was below average in my opinion. Desert was separate from meal, which was $46 per person. Sad to say, not impressed and won’t return.
Father’s Day lunch, was wonderful.
We were VERY disappointed with our recent dining experience.
We started with the salad bar which was probably the best part of the meal, although initially there were no clean plates available.
The meat came often and some were good, some were overcooked, none were great.
Our server took our drink order after our salad course. He came back well into the meal to say the drinks were on the way. They finally arrived as we sat around dirty plates at the very end of our meal. No apologies or explanation. 2 of the 5 mixed drinks were terrible. I mean really bad. We asked for them to be removed from our bill.
While the server took care of that we realized we'd been sitting with a stack of dirty dishes in front of us for like 20 minutes. No offer to clear the table, no offer for dessert. Then a bus boy showed up with a dish tub and asked us to load our dirty dishes into it. He went around the table so we could all clear our own dishes!
After a long wait for the check we finally got out of there.
It was a really bad dining experience all around - food, service, ambiance (too loud to carry on a conversation).
Our server, Tina, was great! She was very busy with multiple other tables, but still made our experience very welcoming and personable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection.
My last visit to Texas de brazil was atrocious. Not worth the money I spent for many reasons. I came with a party of four to enjoy a birthday dinner. Our entire family prefers their meat medium well or well done. The meat we received that night was raw especially after requesting it and letting them know many times. We ended up ordering lamb chops because the other food was not up to par. The lamb chops that we ordered was given to another table for free. We then had to notify the server about the lamb chops and they had to place another order for them which took another half hour. By the time we got them, we were a bit sick of the food and we left. We did not leave satisfied nor full, especially since this is an all you can eat. It was quite disappointing to say the least.
Food either burnt or really really rare. Service was really slowly.
