Texas de Brazil - Syracuse Ratings and Reviews
Our eating experience at your restaurant was a fun and unique one. We enjoyed the variety of items on the salad bar - they were not the "run-of -the-mill" , dull veggies and fruits. Loved being able to choose from many varieties of steak. Having sausage and lamb was a true treat. The meats were cooked to perfection and juicy. Great desserts to choose from. The service was outstanding for such a busy day (Valentine's Day).
Even though we had made valentines day reservations over a week in advance , we were forced to sit in a line for over 25 minutes before we decided to leave. We have 2 children and small window for babysitters. Reservations are useless if you have to wait in excess of 15 minutes; let alone 25 .
Access to the restaurant was not stroller friendly. I had to lift the stroller up the stairs to even get into the restaurant. There was a Family Restroom but it had a sign that said “out of service”. I was very discouraged to find that neither the Men’s or Women’s restroom was equipped with a changing table. There was no where to change my infant daughter. I would not go back for these reasons.
My partner and I love going to Texas de Brazil. The service staff is always friendly, informative, attentive, and often they are funny too. The food is delicious, and we have never had a bad experience. The worst part of the meal is getting up and leaving, 1) because it's over and 2) because we are usually so full it is almost painful to get up and leave. If you go, ask for the beef ribs, they are the best and you won't regret it.
This is mine and my husbands new favorite place, not sure why we did not go sooner. This was our second time in and can't wait to go back again. The price is very fair for the total experience you will receive when dinning here. If your a meat lover like myself you can't go wrong, I finished my dinner with the amazing salad bar, and the desserts Killer!!! I can't wait to go again and again.
My family went for my birthday because I had never been. The salad bar was a HUGE disappointment. The only salad was some greens...there were no fresh veggies to put on the greens. The meats were all way too salty and the potatoes and bananas never came to the table until we were finishing the meats. I felt like a barbarian with silverware. Maybe a hot vegetable with the meal would help. Service was horrible. And I paid a ridiculous bill. Close to $300.00. For what? We barely ate anything from the salad bar and never got the potato and banana until the end and the potatoes were cold! So disappointed and feel bad that I was the one to drag my family there.
I will never go back or recommend it to anyone.
It was my wifes and I first visit to a Texas De Brazil. and although the food was excellent we were at what we reffered to all night as the "lost table". We were at a table by a pillar that repeadlty got passed by the food servers. We needed to keep asking our server to have them stop at our table so that we could get food on our plates. We made a second trip to the salad buffet for a bowl of soup after 1 1/2 hours in just to fill up. After almost 3 hours at the table and the mall closing we decided to pay and leave. Still up in the air as to whether or not we'll return as even though the food was good, it was costly to not have a top of the line meal.
Took my father here for his 80th birthday. It's a little expensive if you aren't a big eater but the food is good and, you only turn 80 once. The server was great, the salad bar and meats we're very good, desserts were great, and they were nice enough to write happy birthday and put a candle in my dad's dessert at the end. Great ambiance as well. If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, you should go at least once, it's an experience.
