Texas de Brazil - Schaumburg Ratings and Reviews
The service was amazing, however I wasn’t too impressed with the food. We weren’t given many options other than steak. The meat wasn’t seasoned at all so every piece of meat tasted just like meat, after the third option they all tasted the same. My crem brule dessert could have been a little warm, you can tell it was prepped ahead of time and sat in the fridge too long, it had the “fridge” taste. I will say that the salted bananas were amazing.
The salad bar is large enough to make a complete meal out of. Throw in the meat, meat and more meat and you can't help but to leave there satisfied. They added a new Cod fish entre that is very good. Bacon wrapped filet, parmisean chicken and their top sirloin are to die for.
Excellent specialty food, unique dinning experience, staff very attentive. All you can eat verity of nicely prepared meats carved at your table. Only complaint was for some reason Everytime I book through Open Table I either get the bathroom table or kitchen door table. Here the kitchen door table has advantages, meats were always hot coming right from the kitchen.
We travel over 120 miles to visit this location since we don't have one in South Bend, Indiana. We take our family here for either lunch or brunch as a special treat and are always very impressed with the service and selection of food choices (salad bar and meats).
I was first invited to Texas De Brazil for a birthday celebration and the service, food and atmosphere was perfect, it was a large group and my waiter was confident and friendly! I have returned for my birthday, my husband's, extended family dinner and they did not disappoint! Each time I was seated on or before my reservation, all the staff was so accommodating!! So I would say I would recommend the Schaumburg location for any occasion, because you can be confident they won't let you down!!!!!
We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday & a friend's anniversary & we loved everything about this place! Everything from the service to the food was excellent. Our server, Michael was very attentive & made sure to surprise my boyfriend & our friends with a dessert at the end of the night to celebrate both occasions. We are already making plans to come back!
This was our second time trying this place. Front Desk/reception area was the most unpleasant experience. No smiles. No conversation. No communication. I marked our reservation that we were celebrating my Daughters accomplishment but nobody even acknowledged that the entire time we were there. Left us standing there for a long time before us being seated and the room was pretty much empty. A Manager saw us standing there and asked if we wanted to be seated. The food was OK but not much flavor to the meats. The Waitstaff was attentive but not very personable or pleasant. No smiles, etc. The décor is very cold - almost medieval. It's an OK place but I prefer more pleasantries, comfy décor and definitely more personality.
Texas de Brazil once again made a special Birthday dinner even more amazing.
The attention to detail, and the amount of effort put in by the staff to make your meal a memorable one is unbelievable. The only thing that even comes close to the staff is the food.
I make the 55 mile drive multiple times a year for my kids' birthdays, and we are NEVER disappointed! See you next birthday!
Not a fan. Waiter came by 3 times: beginning, middle to ask how it was going and then to bring the check. Servers of meat did not come by as frequently as I was told by friends that they would. Very loud groups by us: hard to hear. Would have had a better value going to Golden Corral.
When I booked our reservation through Open Table, I specifically requested a table that was in a corner or against a wall because we have an infant. I have dined at this restaurant many times before and know that the area near the salad bar can get quite busy. The table that we were given was in the middle of the restaurant, right next to the salad bar. I asked for the general manager and he came over and told me that the table we were given was perfectly fine and that there were no other tables available. Before I could respond, another manager came over and said he has found a suitable table for us in the back of the restaurant, where there were additional tables available that could have easily seated our party. The general manager was completely out of line to ignore my concerns for the safety of our infant. We will not dine at this restaurant again. We will not recommend this restaurant to anyone again. If this man is the face of the restaurant, he should be fired for his lack of empathy and willingness to accommodate a safety request.
