Texas de Brazil - San Antonio
Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area where you can indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties.
Then enjoy the rodizio-style dining that has made us famous. An endless parade of gaucho servers visits your table with skewers of freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage carved directly onto your plate. It’s all served with authentic side dishes of garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread and sweet fried bananas.
To complement your meal, select from our award-winning collection of wines or traditional Brazilian bar creations. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our decadent à la carte desserts.
Salad bar had very nice selection but meat table service was very very slow. We waited over an hour to be served anything besides sausage and chicken. I had to ask repeatedly or someone to bring us steak. Also, our water glasses went empty and STAYED empty even though we had purchased wine.
Disappointed in service from meat servers and our table waiter.
Delicious food and always great attention to the patrons.
Our waitress was very inattentive to our table the whole night. In fact, we actually had to flag down another waiter to refill our drinks. She let plates pile up, she didn’t refill our glasses - it was the worst experience when it came to service that I’ve ever had here.
I cannot express how wonderful this restaurant is I'll simply sum it up in one word AMAZING.
The food and service was AMAZING. I’ll definitely be suggesting this place to ALL my friends and family!!!
Food was delicious, and service was excellent. Definitely planning to go back in the future
Great food .. great service
The men with the meats stopped coming by even though our cards were still showing green. Had to ask the manager for the stuffed jalapeno peppers, the guy never even attempted to come to our table. All the men would go to all the other tables and just look at us or say be right there and never come back. We had some sausage, sirloin, and chicken just the 1 time as we were able to catch those guys as they were quickly passing by. Then after an hour of nothing we finally asked for our check. Took another 45 minutes to get the guy to even ring up our bill. Didn't have any desserts, those also never came by. Ridiculous that we spent $200 for 4 pieces of sausage, 2 jalapeno poppers, and maybe 8oz worth of chicken and sirloin for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Amazing food. Drinks are a little over priced. But other then that the experience was amazing
It was our first time, also our anniversary. They made us feel welcomed and wished us a happy anniversary. Nick, our watior, was the best. He really set the bar high on our scale for service.
The meats!! I love how every single piece of meat had its own delicious taste. That fried banana and cinnamon was awesome.
Our cheesecake with fudge was amazing.
Loved every minute of it!
Will be back for more.
Great food, great wine, great service -Rae was amazing!!!
Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Got an Email saying we got a complimentary dessert. When the bill came, the anniversary dessert (I paid full price for the other one) was $8.50 minus a discount of $5.29. This means that the 'complimentary' dessert was $3.21...a nice price for a good dessert; but certainly NOT complimentary. Watch your choice of words. We'll be back because we really like the place.
Our waiter was great!!! He was on top of things and very friendly
Our first time here and had a fantastic dinner before heading to the show!!!!!
The service was great and food was delicious! Adriane the manager came by to greet us and ask how everything was the waitress was friendly and the best servers kept coming around. Great experience!
Waited for 35 mins to get meat. Waiter never returned to the table. Had to ask hostess for check to leave
Great food & great service. Took the family - everyone enjoyed
Very friendly service. Great quality food. Salad bar was very fresh.
Great food and great service. Definitely recommend reservations even during the week.
The salad and soup bar is average at best but the rhodizio or Brazilian skewered meats are the star attraction.
My favorite cuts were the picahna, garlic picahna and skirt steak.
This is my second time there and would definitely return again.
The experience was overall an awesome experiencing. Will be returning when I come back into town!
It was my first time there so I was a little apprehensive but then after our waitresses explained we could have the meats we wanted..then I felt better about the experience...it was half way thru our course..so that was a bummer.
The waitress was very nice and friendly. The food was amazing and affortable. I love this place and will recommend to anybody
The staff was super friendly and welcoming! Food was absolutely amazing!
Texas de Brazil is always on top of their game. Great food and great service.
Good food and service. But, way too noisy. Recommend some noise dampening be added to the restaurant.
It was awesome We loved everything about it
GREEEEEAT SERVICE. Food was amazing even for a non meat eater like me. My husband loved it tho the food just kept coming.
Food was good, but waitress was not. She did not deliver high quality service for that type of restaurant. We had to fill our water, she forgot to deliver plates, clear plates. Very cold and unfriendly. I hated to leave any tip, but the gauchos did such a nicely job.
Bathrooms were also a mess.
The restaurant was freezing, we kept our winter coats on throughout the meal. The restroom was in need of attendance, it was rather dirty and the handicapped stall was out of order, noted as such with a sloppy handwritten note written on what looked like notebook paper.
Given all of this the food was enjoyable and the service was very good.
It was VERY cold in the restaurant and it made it uncomfortable during our dining!
Our server wasn’t welcoming. (Danielle) We were celebrating 3 birthdays and a work promotion that were overlooked. Though our dining experience wasn’t what we expected, we, however, made it our own. We enjoyed our dinner cause we enjoyed our company. For the amount of money we paid I expected the meat servers to come around more often. I really did enjoy the salad bar though. Our server spoke way to fast to understand what she was saying and even faster when she brought the dessert tray around. I believe in my opinion that she was in a hurry to be finished with our business/table. It’s unfortunate but it won’t discourage us from coming back. We’ll defiantly give it another try.
You get pampered like a King, great food & great service.
Outstanding experience every time we go
So fun and service was excellent
It was my birthday and I got the most amazing host, Joseph. He was very attentive and humorous. Also, food was amazing, as usual. I Will be back soon.
Food and service were extraordinary. We’ll definitely go back.
Without a doubt, the best, and most diverse and interesting salad bar in town. The succulent meat and selection of meats is peerless of course, but the salad bar will be prominent in my decision to visit Texas de Brazil again.
Food was decent but Fogo De Chao is still my fav the bread here sucks. Other than that the food was good.
The food and service was extremely satisfying would recommend to everyone.
Excellent salad bar and sides that come to the table. Top quality meats and outstanding service. Beautiful decor.
