Very friendly staff. The food was good but the salad bar could use more options.
It was very noisy and you could hardly have a conversation at the table.
Can’t say how many times I’ve been to Texas de Brazil, either in Slc or other parts of the country, I love the food, love the idea, and typically really love the service, tonight was a fail, the food was fantastic, and the servers who bring around the meat were also great. However the hostess looked like all she wanted to do was run away, no smile, no welcome, even though we had a reservation she took a very long time to find it and seat us even though there was no line. Our actual server was very confused all night and kept saying that it was very busy and she had never seen it so full (half the restaurant was empty), as part of the reservation process I had mentioned it was my fathers birthday, nobody at the restaurant brought it up. We are usually really easy people to please and like I said we love going to Texas de Brazil, tonight was no exception for the food we loved it but the service was not good, for a $200 night this could and should of been better
Always a great meal. Lots of fun. Great salad bar and meats. Super friendly staff.
Excellent meats. Excellent sides. Excellent service
Great food and great service!
Good food. Great service
We have been to Texas de Brazil many times both here and in Dallas and almost always have a great experience. I like the ambiance and variety of foods they offer. This time some of the meat cuts were just not as stellar as they usually are. I’m not sure what was up. But we will be back. It’s one of our favorite places.
The food quality had improved over a couple years ago. Perhaps new management, but the last couple times both the food and service were excellent.
One of my favorite place to celebrate special occasions, Amazing customer service.
Great service! The staff was very conscious of our dining experience and went to extraordinary lengths to ensure a positive dining atmosphere.
The food was very good. The staff is very courteous and attentive. I think it's a little over priced. I don't think I ate $55 worth of food. However, it was a fun experience. This is one of those restaurants you have to try at least once. It would be great for special occasions.
Great Experience. Our server Nathalie was excellent.
First time at a Brazilian steak house. It was awesome. Everything tasted good.
Great food and service! Meats are excellent! Plenty of options for everyone
I came a couple months ago with some friends and had terrible service. I spoke with the company and decided to give a second chance. MUCH better service. I have no complaints this time and would love to come back. Everyone was much better with their atittude. The aura of the area just seemed much more welcoming overall. As always food was fantastic as well. Glad I came back.
Great food and great service. Shay was a fantastic server
Great experience from start to finish. Definitely for the meat lover. Make sure and try the lobster bisque
Service was great but the meat was way too salty! It was so salty that we couldn’t enjoy eating the highlighted Brazilian Meats. We left hungry and looking for something else to eat after paying a hefty price already on dinner.
Having been at the restaurant’s locations in the DFW area we knew what to expect and were not disappointed.
Meat was salty to an extreme. Fresh slices of pineapple that you can SEE through since they are cut so thin. Salads are terrible too. The service is great! I would eat a fast food hamburger over this place is a heartbeat. Super sad.
The meet was very salty very disappointing for four people to spend $275 and not enjoy the food. Will not be returning back to this restaurant.
One of the best Brazilian steakhouses I have ever been too. A little more expensive but well worth it. An incredible variety of meat, all of which were excellently prepared. The salad bar, ambience, and décor were incredible too. We will be back.
Always good food!
Nothing horrible, but not spectacular either.
Staff was great! Parker you are doing amazing job as a GM 👍 my family was very impressed with the salad bar and loved the experience! Thank you 😊
The salad bar alone was fantastic! The service was impeccable. The meats were flavorful and tender
The food and service was excellent. I have eaten at other Brazilian BBQ places and this is by the best place I have tried.
The food was great but I commented to my wife & two kids that our table, which was in a corner between two rooms, must have been in a vortex that made it invisible because the wait staff would literally walk right past us and service the tables around ours - not just once but on many occasions. Most of the time I would have to put my hand up or make eye contact for someone to stop by the table - yes all 4 of our cards were on green. At first it irritated me but then after a while I just became amused and started asking servers for what I wanted as they went through the room.
And the biggest laugh of the night came after paying the bill I watched the waiter walk right past our table with the receipt. He had to turn around and come back into the room to return my credit card to our table. Unfortunately for the waiter the tip reflected the lack of service.
Great food! Protein heaven...
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he has such a blast! The service was great as well as the food! We left miserably full and incredibly satisfied!
Amazing Food! Amazing Service! Worth every penny!
Meat was good but since I am allergic to pork, to pay $42 for only like 6 skewers and salad bar is kind of expensive.
Salad bar was ok. Kind of boring.
The reservation process was glitchy as it showed available times for dining but wouldn’t accept the reservation and defaulted to an error message about server issues. Once we finally got a reservation and arrived at the restaurant (30 minutes early) we were told “sorry we are fully committed tonight, you will need to wait until your reservation time”. The restaurant had empty tables and an entire section vacant. I asked why they couldn’t seat all those waiting at the empty tables and was told by the manager on duty they didn’t have enough staff. As it is a self-serve buffet, and a wandering group of meat carvers, it didn’t make sense. Multiple parties came in and were turned away by the hostess with the same comment “I’m sorry we are fully committed tonight”. When I pressed the manager further, pointing to the empty tables, he noted the meat carvers often forget to attend to that section of the room, leaving guests dissatisfied. So they decided not to fill it with paying guests. I was astonished that he would be turning away thousands of dollars of business while leaving empty tables and waiting guests. After a moderate wait, our party was ushered into the empty room near the front door and served by an outstanding waiter and support staff. But not before multiple parties had been turned away, and in some cases with clear directions and recommendations for alternative restaurants. We were the only party served in that room of empty tables. One after another, multiple guests were turned away by the greeter with the same cheerful response “I’m sorry, we are fully committed tonight - as they looked at the empty tables and vacant section. The food was good and the table service amazing! But the business and the customer experience are lacking. I am confident the thousands in lost revenue (and perturbed guests) that night may be something that will compromise the restaurant and its viability in the long run. It could be so easy to fix.
wish the price was a little cheaper. the price for 2 people plus drinks was almost as much as going to ruths chris steakhouse. but the food was excellent
We go here often and the service is normally great. However, tonight I had to ask for the filet and when it came it was dried and over cooked. We must have been at the end of the meat service because every time they came to us the food was gone, cold or over cooked. It appears to be under new management but I’m not positive about that. Oh, I was offered sausage 5 times, leg of lamb 3, flank steak 2, sirloin 2, lamb chops 1, chicken parmigiana 1 never any pork tenderloins. It was like going to a lower end Brazil’s buffet.
We started off on a great foot with dinner in a very crowded dining room and then the delicious meat started coming around for about 20 minutes and then it stopped and they NEVER came back. We hailed down server twice and asked for more food and drinks to no avail. Complained to server about lack of meat and she never said a work or had a manager visit table. It was horrible service and we were told it was because we came on a busy night and were seated too far away from the main dining area. SO, I would suggest you ask for seating next to the salad bar!!
Oh- the meat that we did taste was wonderful- wish we could have had more of it!!
We placed a reservation, and upon arrival were placed in a small area in the front that resembled a corridor. There is a table that is on display to the walker-bys on an elevated platform over our seating area, and their bar storeroom next to our table area. Our waitress was phenomenal for the entire experience. She told us that the restaurant was bought out all night by a single company event that had over 300 people coming in waves. She said that they weren't taking any reservations for the night, but OpenTable had not been updated, so they honored our reservation. The salad bar is well prepared. This is why I gave a 2 star rating, rather than 1. When you go to Texas de Brazil, you go for the meats. We could have eaten Brazilian sausage all night, was offered parm cheese chicken wings once, lamb chops 2 times, beef ribs once, (leg of?) lamb 5 times, garlic sirloin once, bacon-wrapped chicken once, and bacon-wrapped filet once. Mind you, we were there over 3 hours. Lamb doesn't seem to be something anyone wants in the restaurant, so you see that make the rounds for quite some time to get rid of it. Our waitress had to keep "calling" for the meats to be offered to us. My son and daughter made their meals out of 1 sausage that neither liked, and the salad bar. Yet, their meals cost over $20 each. We tried their lemonade offering that cost $12 for a pitcher, and since everyone that had some has gotten sick. The only 2 people not to get sick, didn't have lemonade. My mojito was made with Sprite instead of Moscato, because of the local laws, but still costs as much. I don't go to places like this not expecting to spend a lot of money, but I do expect to get what I pay for. We eat at this type of restaurant regularly, yet were not impressed by this location in the least. We will not return to this location.
