We ordered two Martinis. They were served barely cold, with no olives. One was served in a Martini glass. The other was served in a cocktail glass, because "we're running short on Martini glasses." The server acknowledged our anniversary, but she did not ask if we wanted a dessert. The room was extremely loud. We had to shout across the table to hear each other. In addition, the restaurant's air conditioner was obviously struggling with the temperature.

                                                                                                                                                                                                I made a 5 pm reservation 3 weeks in advance with a request for a quiet table where we could have a nice conversation. It was a celebration of my adult daughter’s birthday. I booked a time before the main dinner rush on a Saturday. There was no table reserved for us. The 1st was next to the salad bar in the center of the restaurant. The next was back in the “Brazil” room. It was a little more quiet for a few minutes. The tables are so close together that the noise level increased dramatically as tables around us filled. We could barely hear one another much less what wait staff said unless they were immediately beside one of us. It took a good 15 minutes for us to get 2 drinks from the bar. The salad bar was wonderful, as always. The meat service was slow, at best. Even with our “green” facing up, 15 minutes could pass before someone would stop with a meat offering. Once only did the bacon wrapped filet make its way to us in spite of a request for it. Their house special steak never did over the 2 hours we sat there. The meat guys rotation seemed to run out two tables before they reached us every time, except for a smoked sausage or chicken. We were offered bbq and lamb twice but we came for the steak. We did share this with the manager who stopped at our table as we were about to leave. She offered to get the steak over to us but by this time with all the waiting, everyone was ready to leave. What food we did manage to get was delicious, as always. We were asked what temp we liked out meat (rare and mid-rare) although that seemed not to have made any difference in what did reach us. Our server was sweet and brought what was requested. We have been to multiple Texas de Brazil steakhouses across the country (sad when the one in Nashville closed) and they have always been excellent in every way this one fell short. I cannot say we would return to this one again. It is small, cramped, loud and didn’t deliver in the way TDB os known for.

                                                                                                                                                                                                The atmosphere is always great and feels elegant and exciting. The hostesses were pleasant and efficient. Server was friendly but seemed overtaxed. Drinks were coming out at all different times although ordered at same time. Had to chase the server down for a missing glass of wine. Meat servers were super friendly and skilled, felt like were waiting a bit between meat servings especially beef and lamb. The meat and food were superb and felt the quality and value was definitely there.

                                                                                                                                                                                                We had the sweetest server name Kate. It was my husband’s birthday and she made sure that we had an amazing experience. She was attentive and very knowledgeable. The lobster bisque soup is delicious and the unlimited bar is stocked with quite the assortment of fresh vegetables, cured meats, and cheeses. The meats came out hot and at a good steady rate. IMO The filet portions were the best followed by the lamb.

It was awful. 150 dollars and we were not taken care of at all.

Always specify which cuts you prefer to get more attentive service. One downside they don't have thousand island dressing so we never eat the salad bar.

                                                                                                                                                                                                I hadn’t eaten at this restaurant or this type of restaurant before which was didn’t seem to occur to my server until I made it clear I didn’t know what to expect. My server was good but just didn’t quite know how to articulate how things worked. I would suggest a “meat” list of what’s available. Also, maybe beef up (no pun intended) the non- meat options. Overall a 3.5/5 stars just because I was a newbies. I probably wouldn’t go back unless we had a big group. That might be more enjoyable.
