Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Tex
My wife and I went for her birthday dinner. Some quality time & nice food. Didn’t disappoint! Once again, had fantastic food!
Our waiter only needed to bring us drinks he kept blaming the bar we waited 25 minutes for drinks and then we had to ask someone else to get them Us 20 minutes to get some bread delivered to our table extremely poor service we only had a party of 4 people very disappointed
Very helpful staff and great food! We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner.
This place has been much better in the past. The service was extremely slow. The salad bar was very good. The meats were just fair at best.
Service was great but food was just OK for the price. Some meats were overlooked and most were very salty. The mashed potatoes brought to our table were cold. The house cocktail drinks were not good, too much lime juice. Price is too high for this type of food.
Food is okay, they nend to over cook the meat. Service can be slow. Don't go when they have the last two weeks of the VIP pass ( Mid-September). Not a cheap
date for two people .
I have dined frequently at this location. The food is consistently excellent and the variety is exceptional.
This is my 2nd email regarding my experience. First email was sent via the website, under Contact Us. I will not go into all the details since I have already explained it but I will list the issues:
1. No AC on a very hot and humid day. I had made reservations so I would have expected a call with a heads up regarding the issue so we could make alternate plans.
2. Poor Service- Party of 7, we were sat next to the kitchen!!!! Again, NO AC.
* I had to get the bartender to help with our drink order (20+ min).
* No side dishes until 30 min after we had already started to eat.
* From 6:15 till 7:45 when we closed our ticket my water glass was only filled once!!!!
* Waitress shows up twice to the table
* I had to go and ask for the gauchos to come to the table because 30 min into it, we were still waiting.
* No apologies, no offer of anything due to the heat. at least a water bottles should have been free or just leave the jug at the table!!
* one gaucho splatter meat juice on two of the people at the table... both gentleman were wearing light color Polo shirts... we got a sorry and that was it.
* I asked for Well done, never came.
* this was a birthday, not desert offer, no nothing!
- as I mentioned on my email, only bright spot was the bartender.. Never again.
We usually have a great experience at your location. But our last visit was just not up to par. We couldn’t be seated at our favorite table because there were not enough servers. The air conditioner was broken but it wasn’t really that bad. We did feel we should have been notified since we had a reservation that there was a problem. But the main concern was the service. The gauchos kept reaching over our plates to serve others at our table. There were only 4 of us. Also they let coming around with very same meat choice. We had to ask for different meat choices and doneness selections repeatedly. Also they were bring 2 meats by one gaucho at the same time. Just very obvious they were short staffed. The guests we brought were first time clients. But the salad bar was great which we did enjoy.
The experience was awesome. It was my wife’s birthday and from the hostess to our sever the experience was awesome. . Tye was our server and he was awesome. He was very attentive and helpful with our orders. Landon was one of the ones bringing around the meat and he stood out as far as great personality and attentiveness. They did a great job. The only disappointment is that the manager didn’t come around to check on us.
My husband and I went for our first visit recently and LOVED it! Once we flipped the card over indicating we were done with the salad/vegetable portion and would like the various meats, immediately the meat servers started coming. We were never left with an empty plate wondering when the next piece of meat would come. There was a wide variety of meat choices, all cooked perfectly and flavorful. Would highly recommend eating here!
Take your appetite with you! Yet another great dining experience at Texas de Brazil. The meat slingers were great and active. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was on point. TdB is always a bit spendy but they always deliver.
Excellent dining as always!
We got off to a very slow start. It took forever to get our drinks (which were bottled soft drinks and shouldn't have taken any time at all) and the staff had difficulty understanding that we had virtually no interest in salad or food bar items. Our "server" would vanish back into the kitchen area for longer periods of time than I would have expected for someone who wasn't actually serving the food. There were definitely timing issues since we would sit there waiting with empty plates when no meats were being brought out anywhere that we could see. I have been to this type of restaurant previously and the level of service was noticeably less well organized here.
For the most part, the meats were very good. The lamb chops were grossly overseasoned, the leg of lamb was underseasoned. Of the meats listed on the menu, we saw perhaps half, and had to specifically ask for the ones we wanted.
The lobster bisque was wonderful. I never did find mushrooms on the salad bar.
I don't anticipate returning any time soon, although I would recommend the restaurant, with caveats, if I was asked.
Disappointing.. Service has really declined the last couple of visits. We were seated where the gauchos exit the kitchen and were not served 1st once. We do not expect to be 1st every time, but not 1 time. I don't if the table behind us was a friend of theirs or not, but we were passed to go to that table. Also they would go to larger group tables and there would be nothing left when they went back to the kitchen. At one point we were not served for over 15 minutes and finally flagged a manager down.
Luckily I have been here numerous times and know what kind of service they CAN give. Server was MIA most of night, had to pass water glasses around table for people who needed water. The gauchos were not very frequent and kept coming by with same chicken and pork. Decided to go get dessert somewhere else instead of waiting forever for our server to bring anything.
It was nice, ambiance could of been a little more friendlier
Everything was great, except they need more waitstaff. Sometimes it took a while for the waitress to make it back around to our table.
We loved it. The meats were a little over seasoned for our taste, but tender and good.
The food was excellent as always. The waitress was not horrid, but not anywhere near as attentive as we normally see there. We had to ask for enough silverware. We had to ask for “ready for meat” tokens, and still did not have one each. We were celebrating our son’s arrival home from deployment. This was a very big deal to us and his wife. While our son was offered complimentary dessert, there was no interest in why we were celebrating. The waitress took a really long time to ask about dessert and even longer to bring our ticket. We sat for a really long time after we were done eating. We did notice that our waitress spent most of her time at tables where guests were drinking wine...courting tips I assume. (Yes, we were using our VIP card, but we always tip on the full price.)
Wow! Texas De Brazil has gone downhill. The food was either burnt or raw. The server never came by. The manager came by to get my coupon and an hour later the check came. Horrid experience is being to kind.
Enjoy the meal. Used VIP coupon. 41th Wedding Anniversary so they gave us free dessert.
The food and staff were great. We will definitely be back.
Our anniversary. Service very personal-excellent. Meat servers had meat cooked for me with as little salt possible. Never had that kind of service before. All employees are very friendly and accommodating. Only complaint we had was the salad bar. Dishes were not !abled. It is a waste of food to take some to try it out and just throw it away if the taste of contents do not work for you. What salads and meats we ate were very good.
Would come again for a special occasion. Dinner price is above our pay grade for just go out to dinner instead of cooking.
It's always good at TDB!
We love Texas de Brazil. Service was very slow this time. Our waitress was not as attentive as other one. She was having to work the bar and waitress at the same time. Not the service you would expect at a nice restaurant.
Really well served workers were amazing as well. The wait for food was little to nothing and they treated me perfect on my anniversary with my girlfriend! Over all a great experience
Had an amazing experience for our first visit. They waitress Caitlyn was wonderful, along with all the other staff that assisted us. Amazing through and through. Was a bit expensive, but the quality of service and food more than made it worth while.
Good overall experience. Love the fresh and exotic salad bar. I will go back again in the future 😁
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Texas Brazil. The food was truly delicious. The staff was cordial and professional.
Excellent food and service. My favorite restaurant.
Got there at 6:30. By 8:30 when we were handed our check, they had only come to the table about 6 times. We accepted food the last two times simply out of hunger. The spicy pichania was dry, tough, over spiced. Filet mignon with bacon was literally cooked to complete brown on the inside. After that they brought sausage and shrimp.. they give you 1 shrimp. Lobster bisque literally was just bisque. There was no lobster in it. It was awful. Ordered a pitcher of the Brazilian Lemonade, not sure where they’ve had Brazilian lemonade before? But that wasn’t it. No condensed milk at all. Waiter knocked over a whole glass of it when he set down the trey of meat. We sat sticky for the rest of the time and they acted like we did it. After 2 hours and $90 we left hungry and very disappointed. I would have complained but we live 3 hours away with no intentions of coming back.
Daughter home from college for the weekend. Food was great - and comes out at an excellent pace. Everything was fantastic. It’s pricy so we likely won’t go there too often, but great food and excellent service.
It was my wife’s birthday. We had an awesome time. The staff even took the cake I had and brought it out after we were done eating. Micheal and Madison were great!!
The service was exemplary. The food was perfect and it kept coming. The restaurant was a little pricey but you get as much as you can eat for your money. Only a vegetarian would leave hungry.
Great meat selection, always around with fresh hot meats to serve. Salad bar has good selection too. Really enjoyed the experience.
We paid over $90.00, we drank water and only one of us has any meat. The salad bar was lacking. Much of it was spiced so I couldn’t eat it. The lobster bisque had no lobster butter was not offered. The meet was ok but very salty. The wait staff was good but was hard to understand with the noise level. They were also hurrying you quickly. The manager came to the table to see how are meal was. He could see my husband had gone, so why not come when we were both there , rude. Don’t plan to eat by you again, not worth the money.
It was nice to see them back to near full staff. The difference in the service was quite noticeable, for the good.
In the past about 6 to 7 months ago have been with family service and air tempature inside was very good. Went there this past weekend, extremely warm actually sweat while eating and service was very slow with meats. Also seems like serving less meats now as we kept seeing same people with same food coming around. I basically had 4 choices offered during our meal. Very disappointed, overall experience not acceptable. We were there 8/24/2019
