Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Tex
This week was the best trip (out of 6) we've had! Our son and daughter-in-law joined us for their first visit. I had the salad bar, as usual. Everyone else had full dinner. Meat was a bit slow coming out, but quicker as they got into their groove. I do believe this had to do with being there as soon as they opened for the evening.
Servers and management were fabulous and fun to chat and joke with! Again, one of the most enjoyable time.
Don't waste your time or money on this place. It is not good. It used to be a lot better.
There is literally no point in making a reservation at this restaurant. They will not honor it. I made a reservation days in advance and still waited 45 minutes on a table.
No sweet tea and all of the music was extremely fast tempo which was very annoying and not relaxing.
Amazing quality of food and a great waitress. They were always there to help with any needs you had.
Service was horrible to say the least. I don’t really know why I’m even writing this review because the particular location in Huntsville just done care about service. Rude. Not friendly. I keep going back for what reason who knows. I guess because its the only option within 3 hours drive. Hopefully a real Brazilian restaurant will come to Huntsville one day ir this place will get some management.
This was our first time trying a Brazilian steakhouse and it was very disappointing. The server was very pushy on the wine. The steak was all dry, had no flavor, tough, and the chicken had mini bones in it that almost chipped my tooth. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Worst part was our bill came to $180 and I could have cooked a better steak at home.
Great food, good service. They finally have the salad bar open. Definitely had plenty to eat.
THE SALAD WAS SUB STANDARD TO BEGIN THE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL,OVER COOKED ,TUFF AND SOME WAS OVER SEASONED,I HARDLY ATE ANY ,I JUST TRIED TO PICK OUT PIECES THAT I COULD EAT. I`VE BEEN COMING TO THIS RESTAURANT SEEN IT FIRST OPENED,I BRAGGED ON THERE FOOD AND SERVICE MANY TIMES. A SPECIAL NITE OUT WITH MY WIFE.NOT HAPPY PROBABLY WON`T GO BACK.DID THEY CHANGE MANAGEMENT?
The food was amazing as always. Great service considering COVID issues. I do miss the pineapple on the salad bar. My only complaint is that it took 25 minutes after we finished eating to get our ticket.
Both the food and the service were amazing. We love going there, keep up the good work.
Not what is advertised, very casual restaurant, no dress code,, not a fine dining experience.
Food was salty snd burnt. Server was slow to bring drinks and refills.
Great food! Although, we had a reservation for 7:30 and didn’t get seated until 8:30. We watched as over a dozen people left and people who had gotten there after us with no reservation were seated before us. Great food but our waiter seemed new as we both ran out of our drinks and it took a while to get our starters.
We have been going to this Texas de Brazil since it opened. But on this occasion things were quite different. We were there with a group to celebrate a birthday but it was not the celebration we were hoping for. With the circumstances, you must select from the options for your salad and other things, but it was never explained. But we all filled them out and you would have thought it would be a quick turnaround for the salads and other things to go with the meats but nope. We had to ask several times for the salads. Then we found out you now have to pay extra for lamb chops, which is the main meat some eat. We also had to ask our server if anyone was going to bring some of the meats by because they seemed to be missing out area. When they started bringing some of the meats we noticed it was a much reduced types of meat available. Also, When we finally got our salads many of the items we requested were missing. They also reduced their desert menu which disappointed many in the group because one of the items removed was what they wanted. We all agreed this was out last visit to this Texas de Brazil. The value and service have dropped drastically, and no longer worth it.
The entire experience from servers, ambience, and food was EXCEPTIONAL.
Amazing as always. This will always be our go to restaurant for any special occasion..
They are dealing with covid-19 by eliminating self serve at the salad bar which is a major negative since the presentation of that selection goes a long way. The servers load your salad plate from a paper menu you fill out at the table. They are very generous with the portions but the plate arrives with a mountain of very different items like cheese and seafood piled together and covered with the dressing. I can deal with that but for some
that could be really unappetizing. They removed lamb chops from the buffet choices, the most expensive meat on the grill without notice or change in price. I can't eat $45 worth of food at one sitting, and the loss of the chops means I will not go back.
The server was excellent and the food was very, very good!
My server provided an excellent alternative after my beverage of choice was unavailable.
-Garlic Mashed Potatoes preferred over Au Gratin Potatoes
- Filet Mignon and Lamb very good
Service wasn’t as great as it usually is. They kept bringing out a bunch of chicken even though we were requesting beef. The meats were requested as medium rare but they kept bringing us well done as if we wouldn’t know the difference.
Food was delicious. The salads were tasty, but prepared incorrectly. The alcoholic drinks were delicious. A little off putting that there’s a major ceiling leak in the women’s restroom.
Our hostess was amazing, thanks to everyone 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 will be back
Good experience as always.
This restaurant clearly had no regard for the Covid-19 Protocol. Food Salty but waiter was good and food overall was good. Would not return though
We were seated in front of the Bar area, this location in the restaurant, is like no mans land. The meat servers exit the food prep area, head to the side location and then back to food prep. They walked passed our table a total of 5 times. So don't sit at the front of the restaurant, if you want to eat meat.
Our server Emily was fantastic! We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back.
My husband and I became ill the next day. Some of the meat wasn't cooked all the way.
Can’t wait until Covid is over. Get the real whole experience back
The food was good, but it was probably higher than it should be especially for children. Our oldest daughter just turned 13 less than a week ago, and our youngest is 10. Both girls are a salad and meat, but for the price, we will probably not bring them back. Also, for the price, dessert should probably be included. We spent 230 (including tip) dollars for 2 adults and 2 kids. We all drank water, and we had one dessert. It was a special occasion, but I am not sure we will return.
Server brought our salad quickly after we checked what we wanted. Food came around consistently and was delicious. The whole staff is very nice and attentive. Great quality. Top notch all around.
If we have a choice of anywhere that we can go eat...Texas De Brazil is always our first choice. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are always top-tier. We can't wait to go back!
Food was very good but very salty. Hot black beans were so salty they were not eatable! Service was excellent by I think Leslie.
It may just be because of covid but we ran out water and took a server forever to be flagged down for a refill, our reservation was for 7:45 and we didn't get seated till almost 8;30. Wich would have been more okay if they would have said something more than a plaid I don't know, like lie and say it will be about 30 minutes I'm sorry for your wait but when asked why it took so long how much longer will it be.. we were told I don't know or totally ignored. The food was good but their chicken was a little under cooked still had some pink in the middle. The lighting was too bright and honestly offensive, mirrors were smudged and made it all seem uncleaned.
It was a great experience overall. I enjoyed it and will return.
Awesome food and awesome experience! I will recommend to friends and family
This was the first time to take our teenage boys. It was for their 16th Birthday. They absolutely loved it!!
Subdued, but pleasant night at the Restaurant. Will go again
The waitress spoke sooo fast under the mask, was unable to understand her, she messed up our orders, she dropped plates of food, and did not replace the food that was spilled onto the floor. Some food we ordered on the checklist was never brought to us. The restaurant was out of strawberry's, therefore unable to make certain drinks. When asked for a second beer, it took them thirty minutes before it was brought to the table, only after having to ask for it a second time. Worse experience at this high end restaurant ever.
Waiter seemed to be distracted or just forgetful. We had to remind him of drink refills on drinks as well as rolls food wss great and so waa the atmosphere. We were celebrating my birthday. Even though service wasnt as good as it could have been we will still come back
