Texas de Brazil - Huntsville
Excellent service. Love the salad bar as well! Would recommend
Rare night out without the kids to celebrate our anniversary. Surprisingly slow for a Friday evening but I'd reserved through OpenTable anyway... We always enjoy the selections on the starter bar. Somewhat disappointed in a few of the meats for the first time ever. I was excited after seeing ads for the spicy picanha but most of the cuts I received were full of gristle. The shrimp was a welcome new addition since our last visit but once on my plate it looked under cooked and I couldn't bring myself to risk eating it. The highlights were the filet medallions, flank steak, lamb, and my favorite, the Picanha. The meal was topped off with an amazing bottle of Antu red blend. As usual, the service (Mackenzi) was excellent!
Overall a excellent experience, food was awesome and service was fantastic. It is a little pricey though.
Not enough meat for the price. Some of the meat was burnt, not seasoned is too salty. Barely ate any of it. The meat I loved I didn’t get but one or two rounds of it because they never came back. Salad bar was amazing.
Everything was fair. Friendly an attentive service. Food was just “fair”
Food was great but something was wrong with our original server and we were given a new one who did a much better job.
Always a pleasure coming to this Texas de Brazil. We've been using a VIP card and it's an outstanding value. The choices of meat options was incredible as usually, and the quality was wonderful. The one thing I would change would be to start including grilled pineapple, like several other Brazilian steakhouse we've experienced in other places.
Great Food and service. It was our Anniversary and first time at this restaurant. We loved it.
This was a wonderful experience! Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we were doing well. The manager came by and spoke to us as well. It was my birthday and they gave us a complimentary desert. They should teach a class on how to treat customers because they do it right.
The food was great, the atmosphere for me is a little overwhelming with people coming up offering food but it was great at the same time getting to try so many different kinds of meats. For us this was a one time experience.
Restaurant has a nice ambiance and feels fancy. My husband and I went because we were given a gift card. Salad bar was good as well as the meat, but I think for the price we would rather just go to a nice steakhouse like Connor's and order the things we like! This place just isn't the best bang for your buck.
The service was really slow and the meat of the lamb didn't taste good at all this time we have been there 4 times and this was the worst service we've ever had
The entire team did an exceptional job. Everything was perfect.
I had a good first experience. Will definitely be going back.
The only true negative was the poor condition of the ladies room..... very disappointing.
Great service and great food
Excellent food and amazing service! We'll be back!
The food was fantastic. The service was even better.
Been to several Texas de Brazils and Fogos. Texas has better food, imo, but the girl seating ppl at the Huntsville location has such a bad attitude, it ruins the whole experience. If they tell you there's a wait, go on OpenTable and get an immediate reservation, and voila!
It far surpassed our expectations! Wonderful experience and even better food!!
The experience was amazing however we have one requested Serve Well done meats more but the overall experience was Fabulous
We had to wait 10 minutes after our reservation time because they were short-staffed. An employee told us they just had 12 people quit because they had brought in someone to make the business more efficient and the employees weren’t having it.
Our server did a good job but was a little overworked.
The food was excellent. I ordered the pecan cheesecake pie to go and it was wonderful.
This place isn’t cheap, but once they get their staffing level back to where it should be, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!
Our server Madison was amazing, very personal and explained the entire process of cooking the meat as he served.
Au gratin potatoes and lobster bisque were cold. Service was good, and alcohol drinks were ok.
Too few servers. Wait was too long for food. Some food was raw. Hostess was rude.
This was an excellent place the salad bar was exceptional and the meat was cooked to perfection. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable.they made our anniversary dinner quite the experience.
As always, we enjoy eating here, but they had some staffing errors and service was extremely slow. After a very long wait between servings and finally asking our server, she told us they only had 3 gauchos serving the entire place. If they had told us in the beginning we would have been more understanding
Only had 2 or 3 carvers night we went. slow to receive carved meats. Filled up on side items versus meat. Waitress did well considering.
I would recommend for the ambiance and experience but food was just ok. A lot of the meat was very tough and side choices were minimal. My biggest complaint was cost of beverages...my husband and I ordered cokes and were only offered SMALL bottles that we had to pay $3.00 a piece for!!! Our waitress was VERY slow and did not even know what the soup was called or anything about the salad bar and sides. This place was way too overpriced for the food and I guess I was expecting far better. Also, the hostess asked us if this was our first time (it was) and if we were celebrating (yes anniversary) but then there was nothing offered to acknowledge either???? Why ask then? Will be careful from now on recommending this restaurant. You are only paying for the fancy decorations in my opinion.
I took a friend for her birthday, we had a great time. And the food was outstanding
We saw the tables next to us get served meats that never made it to our table.
i love meat, meat is good, our waitress was the best,
Did not honor the Veteran discount on the salad bar. I guess you have to be an carnivores
Loved trying all the different dishes, the meats were delish!!! We will definitely return for special occasions. You must try it!
Well this is disappointing. This was our first time here and our expectations were HIGH. We built this trip up by making a reservation via Open Table on Friday morning. We were both buzzin' about the awesome meal we were going to have on Sunday night at 7pm. We get there and the host asks if it's our first time here + are we celebrating anything. I said yes to being a first timer and was met with a Kristen Stewart blank expression. We get told it'll be a minute and to go take a seat. We stayed in said seat (impatient sigh)... for 40 minutes. As someone who FASTED ALL DAY for this one glorious meal, this was deflating. While we were benched on the sideline, I heard more than one server go by their tables stating how understaffed they were and that's why it was taking so long for everything to come out (another le sigh).
Alas, we get a table. A server comes by and her introduction includes a "heads up we only have 3 servers, apologies in advance". Cool. She leaves to go get us drinks. We just go ahead and get two plates and flip the cards to green and go for it. The MEAT GUYS were great. I liked everything I had and I thought it all tasted awesome, especially the flank steak. The mashed potatoes were really good too! We asked for a second helping of this *unlimited side* and got it...30 minutes later.
The food was awesome but the service was unforgivable. You can't ask people to pay a minimum of $45 per person and never
-never check in about side items
-flip tables in an efficient manner
Also.. why only 3 servers on a Sunday night? Everyone looked so stressed out.
If this is a special occasion restaurant, it has to be treated as such by your staff. Hire more people and train them in high end customer service. Your price tag doesn't match your McDonald's "gon head" service. Chick Fil A is 1/4 the price of Texas de Brazil and treats all their customers like saints. I (unfortunately) wouldn't come back here after this experience.
the service was very slow. I realize some employees did not show up but that is not my problem. it is to expensive for slow service. wont return.
I have been to good Texas de Brazil's before. This one wasn't one of them. Not a good experience overall.
Waited almost 40 minutes with reservation. After Salad bar could not get a gaucho to our table for 20 minutes took almost an hour to get a variety of meat. Table of 8 across from us had stacked dirty dishes for the entire time we were there. It was a bad experience.
I would recommend Huntsville but honestly I would tell them if they had the choice I would pick the one in Nashville instead.
20 minutes after we were seated, I flagged down a manager so say we hadn't had a waiter come by yet. The waitress finally came by. It took over 10 minutes for my daughter to get a Sprite to drink. Another 10 minutes passed before the 1st gaucho came by. The food was "good" but we only had about half the meat come by as in usual visits. Apparently they were not serving properly, another waiter flew by our table multiple times cussing about the gauchos. I had to flag down the waitress multiple times for water refills. At the end, she dumped all our food onto a serving tray into a pile & stacked our plates up on top - it was not a pleasant sight. My daughter wanted dessert, I told her we would get dessert from somewhere else. We complained to management & all we got was "I'm sorry you feel this way." Very disappointed after spending what we did on dinner. We have been multiple times (so we know how the restaurant works) and each time has gotten worse. I do not think we will be back anytime soon.
