Texas de Brazil - Houston Ratings and Reviews
We have been here many times. Our first time was amazing. Our other visits have been in big parties in a quiet back room.
The food is okay at times. Hit and miss with huge amounts of salt. The lamb was extremely fatty.
It's just not worth the price. I can go to better steakhouses and actually get what I want portion size with much less noise. Two years ago this place was a great date destination. Now it's become a Golden Corral type of destination for people in shorts and noisy kids.
I had a birthday dinner here and the reservation was for 9:00pm. There was something that happened on the Beltway while I was traveling and was stuck in traffic for over an hour. I didnt make it to the restaurant until 10:20pm and they close at 10pm but still served me as if I were on time. Service was nice and they didn’t have an attitude. My party was there on time and they all told me that this was an experience of a life time. I will be back SOON.
It was my husband and I first time. We was overwhelmed the food was delicious and the drinks. I was celebrating my birthday and I have told my family and friends they need to come here. The service was awesome everyone was very nice. We will be back and I'm bringing my brother in law and his wife with me.
The food and atmosphere were wonderful. Our young waiter was nice but appeared somewhat distracted & seemed to lack experience. For example even though not all our desserts had been served, he asked me if I wanted mine boxed up to go. How do you box up pie a la mode?
It seemed he was wanting to rush us. This is not Chilies. The manager came by & he was very professional.
When customers pay these kinds of prices, they don't want awkward unskilled wait staff. We hope they train them better for our next visit. Our compliments to the chefs.
I absolutely love this restaurant. The variety of the meats are wonderful and choices of how you want them cooked is amazing. I prefer very done and my compsmmmio. Prefers .medium. it's nice to have both choices simultaneously. The atmosphere is perfect for conversing without having to shout to hear each ither. The wait staff is charming and very efficient. I come here as much as I can. Besides I am totally addicted to the pineapple and grape salad. For dessert, I would recommend the Coconut pie!
Food was excellent although most meats were wrapped with bacon which I do not eat, however, after I explain to them that I don't have to eat pork they started getting me without, which was very considerate. The server was excellent, young lady named Janice, very nice, understanding and helpful. The manager even dropped by to ask how everything was going. The only thing that bothered us was the noise level extremely high. I would recommend and will go there again.
