Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Texas de Brazil.
The only reason I give it as many as 3 stars is because of the quality of the salad bar. The meat, which is supposed to be the star of thinner, was extremely salty and mostly confined to poor quality cuts. The Parmesan-crusted pork loin was an inedible piece of salty dry leather. Even the Brazilian sausages were subpar compared to what I had at other Churrascarias. The only decent cuts were the lamb and filet mignon. Our waiter was a bit pushy. The bottom line is if you want good quality meat, you need to go somewhere else.
Food was excellent as always. However, when our waiter brought over dessert selections he neglected to advise us until after we ordered that dessert was not included in the price. A casual $27 omission. Then, he brought us the bill but had some sort of note pad with the suggestions for tipping and stood over me while I had to decide on his tip and sign the notepad. Really very uncomfortable. I always tip 20% except for horrible service but felt that this is not a acceptable and I’m reconsidering ever going back there. When I kept the hard copy of the bill he said he would keep that and send me an email. Said I preferred the paper copy and I kept it.
It was my wife’s birthday and her first time at Texas de Brazil. She was simply amazed at everything you had to offer. Thank you for the perfect experience.
We decided to go out for a non-traditional Thanksgiving meal. This was the perfect choice. We had a great time and to our surprise, they added turkey, stuffing, dressing and cranberry sauce to their menu for the evening.
We always go there and never had a problem but this time the waitress was terrible. You had to get up to find her for anything you needed. We had ice tea and waited for 20 minutes just to get a refill, I needed a new knife and i finally went and got one myself, and when we needed more sides i had to get a manger to get it. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
We’ve been there many times. This was our worst experience. The server was overloaded with tables and as a result the service was terrible. We actually felt like it was an imposition to ask for water or bread and even our bill. We had to ask several times for a specific cut of meat and when we finally got it, it was overcooked and dry. I would think twice before going there again. There are other restaurants is the area with better service.
We thought we would try something different for Thanksgiving so we selected Texas De Brazil. Lots of convenient free parking. Nice welcoming ambiance . They did have a special selection for thanksgiving that is not on regular menu (IE turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes) I am a vegetarian and thought I might not like the offerings at meat centric restaurant however the selection on the salad & hot bar area was extensive. My husband (A meat lover) had a seemingly never ending offerings of meat, lamb and poultry. We both really enjoyed our dinner and will come back again .
The hostess upon arrival are so nice and very welcoming, the server Jonathan is a excellent server and very friendly. The food was outstanding as always. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. T his is the best location!!! Great staff and amazing food.
Everyone was so kind made my birthday special our waitress Joanna was amazing !
Tonight was a great night of fine dining
Good service, excellent salad bar which is much more than salads, meat quality is good but there's room for improvement. Good place for big party 6-12 people, nice ambience and friendly servers.
The ladies bathroom was extremely dirty
My family and I have always liked visiting Texas De Brazil, although we usually go to the one in Dolphin mall. However, this time we dined at Texas De Brazil Hallandale Beach and I can honestly say we will definitely be visiting again. The service was way better over at this location than at the Dolphin location and the food was spectacular. We all had a good time and if it wasn’t so pricey we would visit every month.
The best service and food , customer service was good
Never disappointed when going to Texas de Brazil. Service and good were spot on last night.
Hallandale food was over cooked ( servers said meat was med. rare and 9 out 10 it was well done!!! ) and over seasoned with a heavy hand: had gone to Sunrise franchise week before and food was better prepared. Would recommend Sunrise Texas de Brazil , definitely not Hallandale store; wasted $ 230.00 with tip for a not so enjoyable evening. My wife and I had brought 2 guests and not a single person was satisfied.
I sat for 20minutes twice with no meat. Gauchos were lazy. They kept bringing the same 3 meats over. I asked for well done, NEVER got anything well done. Complete waste of time and money. Will never go back to that location again. Manager was smug as well.
It was our 1st time at this restaurant and it was an enjoyable experience my wife thought the price was high due to the fact she doesn’t eat much but the ambiance was great
The entire staff was pleasant from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The wait staff is very attentive, but not crowding -- they check in just enough to let you enjoy the time with your loved ones. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend.
Awful food and service when the place is empty
It was beautiful
We were greeted by the waiter and told happy anniversary
Every waiter was amazing
Friendly
Manager even came over to see the type of meat we wanted
Or had
Got a free dessert for my anniversary
Must try please !
The experience we had, was very poor. The Gauchos (servers with meats) were no where to be found for the most part. We informed the servers, that the lady preferred well done cuts. They brought her dried, chunks of meat that looked like it had been sitting for a long time, no seasoning (and even smelled bad), or pieces no one else wanted. We asked several times to have a newer cut, on a more fresh piece when it was to come out. This still never happened. Finally we asked to speak with the manager, since neither my wife, or myself had barely anything to eat. He was standing in the hallway looking around, and knew we wanted to speak with him, never came to speak with us. For the price being on the higher end, most would expect the food, and SERVICE, to be much better, and attentive. Very disappointing experience.
These places are becoming less of a value proposition. Food is all the same and they nickel and dime you. An after dinner dinner liquor/coffee drink; they charge the liquor then the espresso. A $27 drink! What a racket. They count on drunk guys trying to impress the dates to get away with all these upsells. Really feels like a night club hustle
For $147 without tip it was not worth it. The meat was tough and if you asked for an extra slice you got a dirty look. I paid $55 per plate for a salad bar that was also not that great. Never. Ever. Again.
I don't appreciate the hidden fees from Gulfstream. I did not know that. Also, I wasn't attended to as much as I would have liked.
Alexandra was one of the chefs was wonderful. He made sure we got to taste every kind of meat, lamb and Chicken. He an great asser to the resturant. Our waitress was wonderful as well she gave amazing service and always made sure we had drinks, a clean plate and we where happy with what we where eating.
Great as always the staff is welcoming everytime! Happy to celebrate my boyfriend 23 birthday!
Our server David was excellent. The food was very good and we enjoyed it
The evening was marvelous. The food, service and attention paid to us was fantastic. They made my birthday dinner very memorable!
Birthday party for my sons 16th Birthday
Always a great experience at Texas de Brazil
As usually we always over indulge... we try over each time to pace ourselves by not over doing it at the cold food bar but there is just to much good choices, then comes all the meats to good!!!
A lot of food for $48
The desserts don’t disappoint either. The pecan pie is very good.
Food was very good and the ambiance too. The only issue which was a repeat was the picanha. It is supposed to be the best cut of meat they have, and for the second time it was dry and chewy. But every thing else was great.
This place is amazing. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Treated the kids to a night out and they felt like royalty. Would highly recommend it.
Not happy that they no longer have the Papaya cream Dessert but everything else was great!
Salad bad was poor, not many beer brands to choose. Meat options: ok.
Our server was great and I enjoyed my experience at the restaurant. It was my first time eating Texas de Brazil.
Loved the drinks and food was AMAZING! Really enjoyed the service provided by all the staff. The manager came out and checked on every table which was nice because you don’t see that very often. Would definitely eat here again.
David and Alex were great! Made our experience awesome!
We celebrated a birthday at this restaurant with some family members. The food was great, as usual, and Ignacio did a fantastic job taking care of us, including bringing out a dessert for the birthday. I would recommend this restaurant, especially for a special occasion.
