Texas de Brazil - Ft. Worth Ratings and Reviews
Not the first time we have been to this location. Each visit I've felt the quality and overall dining experience was slightly lower than the previous visit. After four visits, we are nearing the bottom of my acceptance level. I will admit my opinion is probably not the majority as I couldn't even make a reservation on my desired date - had to select an adjacent day and still had to accept a time before 6 pm as that's all that was available...so others must like what they are getting. For us, not so good. On check-in they confirmed this was a birthday dinner and who was the beneficiary...and then the waiter passed on birthday greetings as we were seated and that was the last time the birthday was ever mentioned...and no birthday cake for the table like previous visits. So much for this special occasion. The variety of meat was great. The quality was barely average....certainly they are not serving prime cuts of filet and other meats. Even rare, the filet was tough and needed a knife to cut bite size pieces from the chunks they served. Salad bar was as good as always, although the Shashimi has yet to re-appear on the buffet like in the past. Deserts were very good and the coffee was also very good. Seems like the place is working hard to make the customer happy, but cutting corners with the meat and dropping things like the birthday cake has caused me to reconsider any future visits. I'm sure T d'B won't care...they are packed. However, for a place that presents itself as a "special occasion" place to dine, I think they are putting their reputation at risk and over the long haul, business will fall off unless they reverse course and offer the very best meat and truly make people's visits "special". I won't return until I see an uptick in reviews.
My husband and I were celebrating a special occasion. We had a wonderful time! Our waiter, Seth, offered excellent suggestions and gave us the perfect amount of attention. The food was amazing, as was the wine and after dinner drinks. The whole experience surpassed our expectations.
Great food and great service. Salad bar was excellent as were the meats. Desert selection was very good and the wine list was extensive. It was worth the drive and we would definitely do it again. If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault. Plenty of items to choose from and the servers were very nice and prompt. Two thumbs up!!
The brunch was awesome. It was my birthday and we decided to splurge for the day. The service was impeccable, often did not even realize the drinks had been filled. The sirloin steak was WONDERFUL Not sure how many servings we had of that.
The only drawback was the music was rather loud and it was hard to hear. There was also a child near our table so we had some issues .
This was our second time to celebrate a special time, this may become our new go to place for birthdays and anniversaries.
The atmosphere at the Fort Worth Texas De Brazil is well suited for quiet conversation and relaxation.
The extensive salad bar is full of fresh cuisine to satisfy a variety of tastes from greens, fish and cheeses.
Once we were ready for our meats, a swarm of servers stormed the table with chicken, beef and lamb. I’m not much for lamb and to fill up on chicken at these prices is senseless but the filet mignon melted in my mouth at a perfect medium rare!
A garlic mashed potatoes were served family style to accompany the meats. And the meats are served until satisfied.
This was an experience to check off my bucket list but I truly don’t feel that the cost is justified. Any drink, aside from water, is an extra expense as is dessert. If they were included, I might be more inclined to plan another visit.
It is difficult to find a tastier steak but I could better spend my money buying a nice grill and honing my grilling skills with the money spent on this meal for my family.
This was our first time at Texas de Brazil in Fort Worth. The experience was amazing! The salad and soup display was one of a kind and the meat selection was delicious! The dessert were also beautiful and delicious! We will definitely visit again in the future. We also appreciated the military discount.
Our young adult children were in from out of town and this was the perfect place to take a group of 6 to eat and enjoy a night of large selection on salad bar as well as the meats. The meats are amazingly flavored, cooked and the service is amazing. Can't wait to come back again and again.
Salad bar and soup were excellent. Meats were ok. Pork tenderloin was very dry. Steak choices were ok, better if more medium vs medium rare were offered. Our table was very close to a servers stand and to a register checkout. Very tight quarters to move and a lot of traffic. Overall, an ok experience that was saved by the soup and salad choices.
