Texas de Brazil - Ft. Worth Ratings and Reviews
First time for me. Let me preface by saying I enjoy a good prime filet... this experience was not relaxing nor enjoyable. More of a circus. Unfortunately, we were not that into it. Seemed to be a constant hovering of meat sticks.., and I noticed most of the meat was warm not hot. And tough not tender. Out of prob a dozen bites of meat I accepted, only 3 were good, not exceptional just good enough. The lobster bisque that I was looking forward to, had no bit of Lobster meat in it. And the Salad bar that I heard was “amazing “ was ehh okay. So..doubtful i would ever try it again
I want to personally thank the servers at Texas de Brazil in Fort Worth. I have a condition called OPMD. It from time to time affects my ability to swallow. During our meal Saturday night, I had an episode and had to rush from the table. Rather than the restroom, I mistakenly went into an employee area. Two members of the staff immediately took care of me. They brought me water, a towel, and once the episode subsided, directed me to the restroom. Later as we were leaving the restaurant, these two gentlemen made a point to follow up with me and check on my well being. I truly appreciate the extra effort they provided.
Every time I come here, it is usually a 2 party reservation and every single time we are sat next to the kitchen which means constant people running into our table or chairs and the noise level is so loud we have to shout to be heard. Food was good, server was awesome but they have packed so many tables into the available space that I would rather go to the competition in Bedford just to enjoy a quiet meal without feeling run over all night.
First time diners here. Valet was understaffed, rude, and we were turned away due to lack of space. Ambiance was comparable to a Texas Roadhouse. Waitress rushed through our drink orders and hovered over the table even after we asked for time to review. "Full Bar" is not. They clearly do not enforce any sort of dress code. The food was great, however I would expect more for the price. Do not expect to return.
Texas de Brazil was amazing! I require gluten free food and our waitress had one of the chefs walk me through what was safe for me to eat. The food was really good and the atmosphere was great as well. We will definitely return. Thank you Giovanna and everyone else as well!
Everything was really good; the only hiccup is that I think they assume certain people want well done steak and they shouldn't. After requesting medium steak and receiving well done multiple times, I explained that I know how medium should look and taste and to please don't serve me any more well done steak- after that it was great.
We love going to Texas de Brazil for special occasions. Getting a wide variety of meats to eat and all the sides from the salad bar is amazing. Our picky kids even like it! One's a vegetarian and the other typically only eats foods dipped in ketchup (but not here).
we came to your establishment for Thanksgiving dinner. I spent almost 300 dollars just on my family and then my parent spent about 130.oo dollars. I was very disappointed . I have a special needs grandson that came with us and they sat us upstairs. I will never come back. Sitting people upstairs with a special needs and having to take a elevator back down to get food is not a good ideal. I do not feel that we enjoyed our meal trying to take care of him and getting him food, trying to get me something to eat, running back and forth. We had been there before and did not encounter anything like this . I had made reservation early, no one told us we would be place upstairs. My Grandson can hardly walk . Your staff could be a little more observant. I even asked to sit downstairs. I was not pleased . I hope you can do better in the near future.
I only wish that your staff was more considerate of needs
SO DISAPPOINTING. I HAVE COME TO THIS LOCATION MANY TIMES and have never had such a negative experience. The once GLORIOUS potato salad is now a bland, helping of mush. The usual spread of sushi was absent. For some reason, the salad bar seemed much smaller and had less variety. Our bill for 7 people was $400, with two of us just eating the salad bar, and it wasn’t worth $50. The only redeeming part of our Thanksgiving dinner was the Key Lime Pie.
As company owners we often enjoy taking employees to dinner to celebrate work milestones - this was a 6-year anniversary. Two owners dined with an employee and her husband. The restaurant is very nice, clean with excellent service though when I called to verify the reservation the person who answered the phone rushed me off without answering my questions, specifically where is valet parking. Valet parking is located in the adjacent parking lot behind the restaurant and law office but you must enter from Houston. For those coming into downtown FW from 35 or 121 turn from Belknap onto Houston and immediately turn into the outside pay parking lot on the right - a valet booth is set up in that parking lot, so if you're not careful you'll miss it. Also, 3 of us had meat meals and 1 had only salad bar yet we were charged for 4 meat meals. I didn't want to make a big deal so I just noted it on my check and maybe they'll refund something. Food was very good, ambiance was nice.
Friday lunch, group of 4. We all enjoyed the meal. I like medium rare steaks but one of our group really wanted medium. What was called medium was the end that had seen direct fire from the grill. Less than 1/8" thick, the meat was rare to medium rare. My mashed potatoes were red from meat blood... The plate was wet with blood, so when chicken or pork was served the cuts sat in the blood of the steak. I have been there before several times and not had this experience. It seemed like the meat was being rushed to accommodate a full house. Service was good and the place is well done.
