great tasting excellent service
the food, the service and the waiter was fantastic.
Amazing as always
It's the rodízio experience. Eat delicious meat until you can't eat anymore. You're taste buds will be satiated here.
This is a special event restaurant for me and I only go a few times a year. Usually the dinner service is excellent and you have a team that makes sure that beverages are refilled, plates removed and table is kept supplied and clean...this didn't happen on my last visit.
The food was fantastic, the selection was great and if you left hungry or unsatisfied - only you are to blame.
For the price of the meal, the service should have been better but I will try again on the next birthday or anniversary to see if improved.
Definitely will recommend this place. Food was amazing.
This is by far a great restaurant. We never had an empty glass or plate.
Food and service were outstanding.
Hostess was good. I don’t think she was very confident.
Wish they would've informed us that dessert is nit part of the buffet and charged differently before we ordered. Otherwise, food is good!
I took my boyfriend here for us birthday and the experience was wonderful. The staff were very attentive and quick with their service, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dining experience and we both look forward to coming again in the future
Internet was down, could not use gift card that we intended on using. Felt rushed. Meat was to salty peppery
It was awesome I loved the food and their salad bar it’s like paradise ... love it
It took a long time to get meat . Seems request fir well done near takes longer . I to ask twice fir the status as we had been there over 30 minutes and nonone came by. Very slow .
Texas de Brazil is our favorite among the Brazilian BBQ restaurants in the DC area. The meats are prepared with the traditional salt rubbing used in southern Brazil, where the cooking style originates, and Texas de Brazil uses the same quantity of salt as is typical in that region. Some of the other Brazilian places use less salt, which reflects the taste in the metropolitan areas of Brazil -- Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. How much salt is to one's taste will likely determine which version you prefer. We also like Texas de Brazil's salad bar and sides best, particularly their new dish -- fish with coconut sauce. The service is always quick and friendly. The price for the meal is not cheap, but reasonable for both the quality and quantity.
Veronica was an excellent server. Very attentive. Immediate greeting upon entering. Good food and service.
Waiter was horrible. Asked for water, as in out the tap, and received a $12 bottle of water. Asked to split the check 3 ways and the check was not split evenly. One check was $80 more than the other. Went for my mother’s birthday and she was given a glass of cognac that was presented to as a birthday drink on the house but ended up being $10. I have been to other Brazillian steakhouses before and they were awesome. My experience at this particular one left a lot to be desired. I will not be returning.
The service was extremely slow.
We were celebrating my 2 year olds birthday. Although she was sleeping for most of the dinner, we had a great time. The food was amazing as always and we had an excellent server.
The food was great, especially the sirloin, dessert and Brazilian Beer. The service was wonderful.
Outstanding service from our server Oscar. Never had an empty plate or cup. He asked us what we wanted and made sure we got it. I will be back often and ask for Oscar again.
The service was very nice. The side and salad bar selection were very tasty. Instead of dinner, I went for lunch and thought the value was great. I would recommend going if you have a big craving and appetite.
Don't fill up too much on the excellent salad bar or the fried bananas and rolls they bring to the table. Make sure you save plenty of room for the meat! If you prefer not to go for the meat, there is certainly enough great food in the salad bar (and this puts salad bar on a whole new level) to fill the hungriest tummy.
One note of caution is to make sure to cover your lap with the napkins. Some of the meats are very juicy and drip on the table - potentially on your lap.
Our server could not have been less interested in being our server. His only hint of a smile was when he handed us the check.
Best steeakhouse ever! Keep it up guys and more meat
A little bit a long waiting time against reservation time
We celebrated two birthdays and we had a great time.
Everything food item today was juicy and flavorful, only downside was we were placed near the kitchen doorway so all the meat was being passed by us. So we rarely got anyone coming to the table. Server was attentive, but didn't clear plates when he would stop by... other than that I can't ever complain!
The staff were really helpful, but the food was not that good. The meat was overly salty, and undercooked. I enjoy medium rare, but the meat was very raw inside making it unappetizing. It was also extremely loud and difficult to speak with the people next to me.
A great change of pace. Good food great atmosphere.
Started off a little slow. We arrived a few mins early for our 445 reservation. Still waited to be sat even though it was mostly empty. Once we started eating the meats were very slow to come out. Some of the Gouchos hit other tables where we were and just walked right by us. Seemed odd. Some of the warm sides had gotten cold by the time we got our first meats. Most were great as usual except the Brazilian sausage was over cooked and very dry and the garlic sirloin (our fave) has basically no garlic taste. Overall it was just ok. This was the only time out of many visits where it was subpar.
Our server was awesome! Attentive and unobtrusive.
This is definitely my favorite Brazilian steakhouse, after visiting all other 3 known places, TdB is always consistent with the quality and taste of the meat, the Gauchos always come and never ignore you and they ask what is your favorite cut or what you'd prefer the most.
The food was outstanding as usual. That was great that they added the ribeye. The service was great.
Been coming there for years now. This last experience was not the best. My girlfriend and I just wanted to go on a nice dinner date. There were many open tables but we’re sat in a corner next to a loud party of at least 8. 3 tables around us were dirty and our server made us seem like we truly didn’t matter. He was a little to nonchalant when it came to our table. Food was excellent as always, just could’ve been better with the service
Meat was delicious! Salad bar was phenomenal!will definitely come back!
The waiter seemed frustrated because I had to tell him to keep repeating himself due to the noise level.
I love it, one of the best meat places in town!!! Great sitting and good cooked for your taste!
Best service we have received to date at Texas de Brazil! The lamb chops are always fantastic!
I love Texas de Brazil in all the other locations that I have visited to include Short Pump, Florida, and DC. However, this one was the worst. Service sucked, took a half hour to get a drink, a soft drink. Food was not brought around consistently. When we asked for medium well, it was brought, burnt and/or completely dried out. Even when it was done, the taste was not what we are accustomed to from Texas de Brazil. I understand that it was the holiday but the quality and I shouldn’t have had to suffer.
It was our anniversary and no one acknowledged it. Our waiter was pleasant but really slow. This is not what I’m used to when dining there.
