Steakhouse
Texas de Brazil is no ordinary steakhouse. It’s a dining experience like no other.

Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area where you can indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties.

Then enjoy the rodizio-style dining that has made us famous. An endless parade of gaucho servers visits your table with skewers of freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage carved directly onto your plate. It’s all served with authentic side dishes of garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread and sweet fried bananas.

To complement your meal, select from our award-winning collection of wines or traditional Brazilian bar creations. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our decadent à la carte desserts.

This seems to be a special occasion only type of place. There is no menu, just $49.99 person for all you can eat. The meat is fabulous, but by the time you get to your table with the fixings, and wait for the meat to arrive, everything else is cold. We did not come super hungry, so it was not a good value for us.

Simply put, best meal ever. If you are a carnivore (meat eater), then look no further my friends. You will not be disappointed.

Food was good but was very crowded and a things we moving slowly. Took a while (5m) for our server to get to us the first time and even longer to get drinks, and some of the meat options never made it to our table. Otherwise, great food, good wine list, we had fun

The food was good though not as good as it’s been in the past (it seems like it gets worse every time I go there). Certainly not as good as Fogo.

The price per person at this location used to be about $35-$40 per person and now it’s $50 and I feel like I get less for my money now.

The service was horrible. We were there for about 3 hours, at least 1 hour more than we needed to be. The time was spent was ok with us as we were all hanging out, having a good time but that’s an idea of how much time was wasted.

Drinks took about 20 minutes to get delivered and our waiter came around maybe once every 45 minutes. Dessert took at least 30 minutes after ordering it.

Not sure I’ll go back there.

The restaurant was nice (Fairfax), but I really like the Texas de Brazil in Richmond, VA much better the ambiance is a lot better, Fairfax felt to crowded between tables and for some reason the meat selection is better at the Richmond restaurant, that is just my opinion.

My opinion: Texas De Brazil is a lower-quality version of Fogo de Chao. Some meats you find in other rodizios are not available at Texas De Brazil (chicken hearts, for example). They use cheaper products (for example, Grana Padano rather than Parmigiano Reggiano, in the salad bar). That said, it was still an excellent meal with great service and wonderful ambiance.

We have been to this location countless times. Food is always amazing.
Service is hit and miss. This time, the service was the worst we've had. Couldn't get a refill on my son's iced tea until he was finished eating, asked multiple times for a certain kind of meat to be sent (about 20 minutes later, it finally arrived). Everyone in my family knows exactly what they like there, but we were at the restaurant for nearly 2 hours due to simply waiting for our server to come around for each thing we needed (drink refills, meats that hadn't shown up yet, trying to order the birthday dessert for my husband, and then finally the check

We set reservations for 6:15 and arrived at 6. By 630 we were wondering what happened. The 4 hostess lost not only our reservation but seemed to have not logged out buzzer. So other than being sat 30 mins past our reservation with no check on by the manager and oversight by the front of house it was a very good meal. Not sure I’d drive an hour again for it because of the seating mishap.

The food comes quickly, so you have to pay attention to what's on offer or you'll miss your chance until the next rotation. Center salad bar is very cramped and creates a logjam between guests and servers. Food is incredibly salty, be sure to drink lots!

We have been here before. We love the place. Our waiter was Fabrício and he was great! The people bringing the meat also were very helpful, brought us the meat cooked as each of us preferred, nice thin cut like we enjoy.
I just think that for the price of the meal, the sodas should be refill also at dinner time. We might go more often if we knew we wouldn’t be paying way too much for a coke.

The salad bar and ambiance are very good. However, the meat service was disappointing as the servers did not come by enough. Also, the chicken, pork and sausage were offered 2x as much as the beef steak and better more expensive cuts. It is a pricey menu , and our table felt slighted on the meat service. Also, I wasn’t feeling well that night and wanted to take home the little meat I had on my plate. The waiter said no. I can understand that many people make take advantage of the all you can eat meat. However, that was not my case. There should be exceptions in certain cases. We were a party of 7 and I was the only one that made that request. Our family will not return.

This was my second time visiting this location, and I wasn’t as impressed this time as I was previously. I would like to note, the first time I visited it was on a weekday night and this time was on a weekend evening. The customer service was great, but it did take a long time for the meat servers to make it to our table. When we first flipped our cards over to green, it took 15 minutes until someone came over to our table, and this pattern continued throughout our meal. Although the wait was a little bit of an inconvenience and not ideal considering the price you pay to eat here, the food did taste good. I would recommend not going on a weekend if you are looking to be served in a timely manner.

Great food choices, expensive. Came home an I went through me like an Express train. Won't be back. Suggested tips on the receipt are 2% over what I calculated. They're ripping you off. My tip calculator and regular calculator show them suggesting $3 to $5 dollars more. Too much money for a meal that goes through you too fast.

The salad bar was good. The meat was much too salty but cooked well. It was difficult to get the server's attention. Removing used plates, drink orders, request for the check, and payment of the check took much too long.

This was our favorite restaurant but the quality of their service has significantly gone down.

The servers were cranky and we were ignored most of the time. They didn't seem too pleased when we ocassionally would ask for drink refills or anything for that matter (should we even ask to replenish a glass of water or iced tea?). They would seem annoyed when we called their attention.

We didn't feel the old charm of the place this time. It is definitely gone.

Made reservations 3 weeks in advance through Open Table. When we arrived, they put us on a wait list. Waited at least 45 minutes and said we were going to leave. They immediately found a table. Totally unacceptable. On top of that - the food is very good but not great. The selection is a buffet style which is good but certainly not worth the price. And, the service, at best, was average. Probably will not return and certainly would not recommend this place to anyone.
