Texas de Brazil - Denver Ratings and Reviews
Fabulous food, both the salad bar and grilled meat. It’s all you can eat, so be sure to come hungry. The servers move from table to table with and outstanding assortment of skewed meat hot off the grill, cooked to your taste,
This is my favorite Denver restaurant, but it’s pricey, $50 per person ($25 salad bar only) so we only go when we they have special offers.
Wasn't too bad. Things that I think could be improved: the meat was quite salty, it was kind of loud but it can't really be avoided I guess, and the dessert wasn't included (you have to pay extra for dessert which is like $9). It was fun to go, though, and the meat was pretty good. The salad bar also had a great selection. I'm not sure if I will come back but I enjoyed the experience.
Always good, always loud, always fun.
If you haven't dined here before just be warned, the dinner check will be high - that is because you are paying for the experience of dining at a Brazilian steakhouse, not just some sorry excuse for meats on a spit that have been seasoned with herbs and spices bought from the Super Target in their spice aisle then cooked hap hazardously on your discount grill you got at the end of Grill Season from Home Depot.
You get to taste some of the best cooked meat in town with creations and seasonings for all types of pallets - just don't bring vegans, because naturally they'll only complain about the deforestation of animal habitats and the raping of animals in slaughter houses as you munch on parmesan-crusted pork chops, or bacon-wrapped fillets, or their C-steak (which is what they are known for), and who wants to listen to that mindless babble when all you want to do is hunker down and eat meat.
Not that vegans have any excuses either, they drink water which happens to be a fish's habitat/environment so who is the sick person now? That's right, eat here and enjoy, go somewhere else if meat offends you because we are all a little bit happier with more available tables and compacted bowels due to high protein consumption.
I love this place. The salad bar is extensive, featuring unique mixed salads, sushi, great cheeses, smoked salmon, shrimp, whole pieces of crispy bacon and more. The meat options are great and there is no way to leave hungry. They have some of the best carrot cake I have ever had. Their coconut fish soup is amazing the black beans are flavorful. You really can't go wrong with this place.
I had a group of 7 people. The waitress brought the ticket (we didn't know she was going to bring it yet) and seemed annoyed that we asked for separate tickets. Was friendly throughout the rest of our time there. This was a special birthday for me and I was a bit surprised to find that your restaurant does not sing like they do at the other Churrascaria's. The next day I went to one of your competitors and they sang to me. It was nice. Overall though your establishment is great and I'll come back for sure.
A great special occasion spot for all you can eat steat, chicken and pork! Delicious sides and salads are in salad buffet style. Pricey but worth the experience of waiters walking around offering delicious meats. Large rooms so it can be noisy. Fun experience.
Excellent service as usual. Always pricey but worth it until our kids are over 12, then we will reconsider whether they go or not. A bit loud for having a business or casual conversation. Felt like we had to speak loudly to communicate across the table. Overall an excellent place to spend a birthday!
Took my extended family to celebrate a birthday. They asked what the occasion was when I made the reservation but never brought it up during our meal so what was the point of asking? Service was very poor, particularly for a high end restaurant. Server spilled drinks down my daughters back - wife had to go request napkins, and to have the floor mopped, drinks were very slow to be refilled, clean plates not offered. The guys serving the meat are energetic, prompt and fun and the meat is good but our server was young, untrained and embarrassed to even look at us after the spill. I went to the manager when we were leaving, I complained that she did not even come to check on us - she argued with me, said she did. Apparently the drinks also splashed on the adjoining table and she talked to them (I got that from my daughter after we left). The manager did attempt to adjust my bill but I never take that - I feel like it cheapens my complaint. I know some people gripe just to save a buck. I don't complain often and I want to be heard. I wasn't she really didn't even apologize! I emailed corporate - received a form response with an offer to pay for the sweater to be cleaned. What I wanted was an apology. We have visited many times but we won't be back.
AS always, the food was spectacular. The service was awesome as well. Until the end of the evening when a complete mix up with the bill caused the entire party to lose some it's glamour. We were told that it was not a problem to take make than one form of payment (and it has been done before). The bill was $441 after a military discount was applied. One payment was $150 (which was declined for no reason, and another form of payment used), another $140, a third for $76, a gift card for $100, and the final card was charged $191. The math does not add up. The final card was to be used for tip. Not that any was withheld, but it sure made for a sad end to a very nice evening. We offered to pay in one and settle amongst ourselves, which I highly encourage large parties to do if you don't just get separate checks.
