Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Tex
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Very disappointing. Took forever to get served. Chicken bloody. Never saw a manager. Servers often passed us to serve larger tables.. A lot of money for a meh dinner.
We were late doe our reservation but they were still able to get us a table. Our waitress was very nice, and the meat service was great.
Service was awful!! I have booked here several times in the past few months. This by far was the worst service I have received. The chefs walked past my table several times and never offered meat. Manger was of no helped when mentioned he simply asked if we asked out waitress for specific meat request which we already did this. We received $5 worth of meat for the cost of $136 for two. We will not be returning !!
Just fine. We had a good time
It was amazing, our waitress was the best and very informative!!
They never came around with the filet and only came with Brazilian steak once and that’s what we came for. Very disappointing. Was difficult for us to get refills but covid made things harder for staff I’m sure.
Everything was great. Our servers Mike and Vanessa were phenomenal. The food was amazing as always. Texas de Brazil is taking all necessary precautions to keep guests safe.
They rarely bring the good cuts of meat out and when they do they only give you a very small portion. They try to get you to fill up on salad and pork. Staff was friendly but you get very little for your money and one piece of sirloin I did receive was so tuff I could not chew it. Very disappointed.
The food was amazing. On this occasion though the service unfortunately failed us. Do not let them seat you in the far corner of the expanded room. Most of the meat individuals, and even our own server continuously skipped past us. Both of our salads were not correct, I couldn’t get refills to save my life, and chasing down the bill at the end of the night was impossible.
You are paying for the experience. It's worth it for an occasional special event. We will probably go back but not an a regular basis. Everything we tried was really good!
Front hostess waa very rude on the phone and in person. The food servers only served us once. Our table was skipped 4 times, even though our green card was visible. We had to flag someone down to get served each time.
Very nice experience, and they did a great job with Covid restrictions.
This was my first time at Texas de Brazil. I had taken my husband to celebrate his birthday. Service was very lacking. We waited at least 8-10 minutes between each little serving of meat before anyone would come to our table. We received or side dished by time we were finished eating completely. Salad bar toppings had few to choose from. I would go back if in the area but would not make a special trip to do so like we had this weekend.
It was our anniversary it was ok the experience and price did not match up we had to ask for sides ask for silverware etc...
The dining room had mop buckets out by our table while we were eating. I had about two different waiters, service was ok I suppose; except we were rushed. The carvers were polite and prompt and the best part of the experience. The dinning room was dirty , silverware was dirty and honestly just not worth the cost...
First time here after a long absence. As always — great service and great food.
Short staffed. Had to wait a long time for the meat server to stop by. Food tasted okay but hot sides were cold, definitely not 160 degree holding temperature. Won’t be surprised is someone gets sick. Overall I will chalk it up to Covid reopen difficulties but disappointing paying that much for poor service.
Restaurant team was very unengaged in service, we took a 9:30PM reservation, they called to inform us they close at 9:30PM? We arrived early and it was a very mundane experience, inconsistent with expectations. Ordered bottled water, server didn't open or pour, wine list was hand-written with changes, very low supply and knowledge, food from salad bar was brought (cold) and meat service was done right on top of it so unable to actually enjoy the meal. Very disappointed, asked to speak to Manager and was told the person had left for the night. Won't be back and likely won't return to the brand.
Everything was good. I have no complaints about anything
I have had much better service there previously. Our waiter was too busy with other tables.
Overall very disappointed on how this place has held up. I went there over a year ago for my great aunts birthday. It was excellent. From the service, ambience, food etc. I do understand that COVID has taken its tole on certain business, but for the price you pay here you don’t get your money’s worth. The manager or whomever it was in the red & host were not at all welcoming. Seemed more agitated than anything when you came through the door. We had reservations & the time was kept, so I did appreciate that. The server herself Amina(spelling?) was wonderful, so warm & a great waitress. She noticed the salads weren’t arriving in a timely manner so she herself went to get them for us. Excellent waitress. Also, the men who carved our meats were all very professional & courteous. The meats were good, but again, for the prices I could spend at The Avenue or Texas de Brazil... I’d go to The Avenue or some other restaurant. The ambience was that of a resort restaurant, lacking in any sort of “exotic” feel. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone unfortunately.
Great Food / Service must place to visit support your local restaurants 👍
Overall, a disappointing experience, but ONLY because of a freak accident. It was our anniversary and we were having a great time, when my wife was cut by one of the servers knives. We completely understand that accidents happen and we are not in any way or shape upset about the incident. However, besides the actual servers (who apologized 3 or 4 times and were sincere about it), the rest of the night was fairly poor from a customer standpoint. Manager barely spoke to us about it and was not sincere in the least. Wife was in the bathroom for 20+ min and my waitress didn’t think to ask if she was even okay.
That is the only reason for 3 stars. We did not get a discount (not really what it’s about) or even a free dessert (also not what it’s about). Just simply wanted a sincere apology from management.
Otherwise, food was fantastic per usual and the servers are fantastic.
Food was delicious! Texas de Brazil was following Covid-19 guidelines, so we felt
very comfortable dining here. Would absolutely come back!
My wife and i always enjoy Texas de Brazil. The food is great and the staff is very attentive.
Nice for a change. More casual then it use to be. Food was good we have had better there before
The only problem with my dinner I only ate salad bar. I didn't get to go up to see what was available. I had to pick from a list. when my waitress brought my food everything was piled onto one plate. too many flavors mixing made it impossible to like anything. I would go back but not until I can get my own food so I can try certain things. My husband got the full dinner and absolutely loved it. service was a little slow due to having an 8pm reservation. but I do plan on a return trip
The salad bar is the best part. Service is good. Dessert is good. But the meats were just okay. All the filet cuts are well done. We asked to have some filet, medium rare (as it was advertised by the website and our server) and even the fresh cooked ones were well done. I have been there a few times and it’s the same everytime. I’d go back for the salad bar.
Meat was good, waitress was nice and friendly. It was really hard to hear her through the muzzle she had on. Employees in restaurants don’t have to wear masks. If this was an establishment with anything that resembled a spine in upper management, the experience could have been greatly improved.
One part of the experience here is going to the salad bar and seeing the spread and choosing what you want. That has been taken away from the customer experience yet you still pay the same price as if it hadn’t changed.
Nothing bad to say, would like to see serve yourself salad bar back soon.
This was my first experience with texas de brazil. I thought it was going to be a quiet dinner and it was very loud, hard to hear the waitress with masks on. However knowing the noise I would still come back and recommend it to friends and family.
Side dishes were terrible. Extreme wait time even with a reservation even though there were multiple tables open. Extremely disappointed in the fact there are no Togo boxes, only for dessert. Water was amazing
When you have a reservation at 815pm. You arrive at 8pm. You are not seated until after 9pm because the management is seating people without reservations in front of you
IT MAKES THE ENTIRE NIGHT PRETTY FRUSTRATING!
LEARN HOW TO HANDLE A RESTAURANT. MY COMMENTS TO YOUR HOSTESS AND MANAGEMENT STAFF.
I arrived at 7:20 for a 7:30 reservation. I was not seated until 8:10. I asked the front desk the reason for the delay and they acknowledged that I did have a reservation but I was told that other parties arrived before me and needed to be seated before our party. What is the point of using the Open Table App for a reservation time if the restaurant does not honor the times or even apologize for the delay?
We had reservations and arrived on time. We had to wait at least 10-15 minutes to be seated. It was hot and then had to wait for server to come and get our drink orders. The service was slow and not that many customers are there. We also had to wait on the meat to come through.
Delicious food and excellent service
Food was great but server was slow. Good experience overall
Wonderful food and service. Quiet and social distanced. Would recommend.
Didn't really think through the whole buffet/covid thing! I was a bit disappointed that i couldn't get my own plate from the buffet... maybe next time!
Good food, short staffed when we went, might have to wait even though you have a reservation. Good service, meat people are awesome and will bring you what you want.
