Had a 12pm reservation but when we got there at 12:05, we were not seated until closer to 12:30. I began a family argument to get there in time and then stood waiting to be seated so that added a little unnecessary tension. That said, everything was awesome!
The food was delicious & plentiful. We were seated in the far back of the restaurant, unfortunately, the servers didn’t get to us with MANY of the selections. For 5 people the bill came to almost $300. There was a group of four men who were extremely loud, cursing frequently and they monopolized the waiter’s time. We all felt that the Manager should have approached this quad and ask politely for them to lower the voices and refrain from cursing, to no avail.
The food was amazing and the servers and waitress were excellent.
Hannah our server was awesome. Attentive with our drinks and keeping table cleared.
The salad area was honestly the best part of our experience. A few offerings of the meat presented to us was very near raw. The shrimp were great. However seated on an inside table we didn’t get a chance to get shrimp more than once. The problem seemed to be mainly with the beef offerings. I had one slice of top sirloin I think that was actually cold. I also received an almost near raw bacon wrapped filet. The chicken and pork were reportedly good. Overall I do not feel I received much value for the money we spent. This was our second visit also. Ty for your time. Keith
The food was good as always. And the service wasn't bad.. I will be returning soon..
Awful food. Steaks as chewy as a sneaker. Poor service. Slippery floor. Overpriced.
We felt like we were stuck in corner, and it was dark and very noisy. The floor was very slippery, and I was afraid my elderly father would fall. Overall, not as good as our first experience. And really, it is over priced.
The ambiance we amazing, as were the 3 different desserts we ordered! The meats were not MR, and I gave that expectation a slight pass since it was a high volume day, as it was Mother's day. The biggest down fall of our experience was our server. When my mother asked "How are you?" Our server responded "Eh, you know how it is" and he looked around the restaurant with what seemed to be the implication that he would rather be anywhere else but serving us. He was very disengaged and inattentive. He did not offer us another round of cocktails; I had to get myself a place setting, as we were seated with one setting and he "forgot" to get the place setting when I called it to his attention; we had to ask another server for entree plates, becausehe forgotto reset us after the buffet; I had to ask for bread service, mashed potatoes and fried bananas 35 minutes into our entree's. The service did not align with their business model in my opinion, well, at least I hope not.
Our Waiter was the best Lawrence thank you. And will return again.
That was our first time at Texas de Brazil and it was A-MAZING!!! Our server was great! Very personable, up beat and was always checking up on us... but not in an annoying way!! Food was incredible... two days later I am still full... but totally craving more steak!!! Definitely would, and have, recommended Texas de Brazil to friends and family! We will definitely be coming back!
This was our first time to Texas de Brazil. We were celebrating my son's birthday. The expectation was just as we had heard it would be. A couple things that were disappointing though: 1) The green/red cards were provided - in most cases we had the red side up so that we could enjoy what we had on our plate, but found that servers were still coming over one after the other neglecting to look at the card. We felt as though we had to hurry thru our food in order to sample other meats. 2) I provided a doctors card to the manager regarding being able to get the childs portion due to my having gastric bypass surgery. I was told that due to the nature of the TDB business, he could not honor the childs portion for me. Honestly I ate very little but paid the full price.
Great food and price. A little noisy for our taste.
Absolutely loved my frost experience here. Dwayne was great he explained everything to me amd was very attentive. Will definitely be coming back again
The greet was welcoming, the service was decent, the meat could’ve been hotter, but the salad bar was exquisite. The wine list is amazing!
Amazing food......so tasty and cooked to perfection....quality cuts....great service...great room
Food was fantastic, atmosphere even better. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and they provided a no-cost dessert.
The food was great, had something for everyone. Server was very helpful. We had a great time.
My carnivore sons loved the food. They loved all the meats available, especially the top sirloin, and the flank steak. I did not care for the chicken, as there were little bones in it. My one non-carnivore had just the salad bar, and liked it very much, but he was disappointed that the smoked salmon was not available. So he did not get any protein, except for the black beans, which were outstanding, by the way. There were no lamb chops or leg of lamb, which is my favorite, alas, no lamb at all. There was a little confusion as to whether or not the salad eater had to pay full price, which we ended up doing, because we thought it was a fixed price at lunchtime for everything. But maybe we should have paid less for his non-meat meal? Oh well, all in all we had a great time. The meat service was excellent and we went home quite full. Our personal waiter, Corey, could not have been nicer. Even though the tab was pricey, I'm certain we will go again.
The servers kept passing my table, even with the chips on green and not making eye contact. They kept stopping at the table in front on mine, and walking around my table. Once we informed our waiter, he said he would let them know to come back around, and they did for a while, and then it started again.
- Had to wait 15min with a reservation. Not a huge deal, but not something I expected from a more upscale dining experience
- The layout of the separate seating areas has lots of traffic (waiters, meat-guys, managers, guests) crossing a central area. The waiters and meat guys are generally on point (and allow guests to pass first); supervisors tend to just stop midtraffic without checking behind
- Salad buffet area is very dim. There's points for ambience but either not all the items are labeled or it was too dim to make it out. Not an issue for us but for people with allergies this could be an issue
- Soup of the day (a lobster bisque) was fantastic! Although we're fairly certain it wasn't labeled. Unfortunately, the second batch of soup was extremely salty
- The meat: bacon wrapped chicken (quite dry), fillet (very tender, but not much flavor), flank (the outside was great, albeit a bit oily, not a lot of flavor though), sausage (fantastic), lamb (sadly, was very dry and bland)
- Server was fantastic - passed along our concerns about the soup being salty to supervisor. Unfortunately, we got the impression the supervisor wasn't interested in genuine feedback and slinked off as soon as he determined we weren't looking for a comp.
Overall, for the price per meal, this was a flop. This is the first Brazillian buffet that I've been to where the meat made me sit back and examine it closer -- usually I'm too busy enjoying it. I'd love to give the benefit of a doubt that this was just one bad outing, but for the price point, I don't think I'd risk a second chance to confirm.
My family and I went to Texas de Brazil for my birthday. We've been there a few times before and always had an excellent time. This time, however, ,the waitress we had was horrible. She had zero personality, greeted us very coldly, never smiled, acted as though we were a bother to her, and was just an all around miserable person. It made for an extremely disappointing visit, especially for a birthday visit. The food was excellent but the service was terrible and a huge disappointment.
Truly a wonderful dining experience. We went to celebrate our 39 anniversary and we received top notch service. Our server Margaux was extremely efficient, often returning to our table to check if everything was satisfactory. The Gauchos were plentiful offering All varieties of meats and sausages. We recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
Out waitress was phenomenal. The servers that brought the meat around kept bringing us the same meat. So we didn’t get to try a lot of it
Mediocre. Long waits for items we wanted and specifically requested. Twice lamb chops were well done when they said it would be medium rare and when we also specifically requested medium rare. 4 pieces of fried bananas served for 5 people. Attempts to sell us a supposed $100 bottle of wine for only $70 and trying to get us to order bottled water. Much pushier than usual.
Went to Texas de Brazil for my first experience there. Was impressed by everything, don't believe any negative reviews you read online. Anyone who didn't absolutely love the food, it's probably an uncultured swine who doesn't know what good food taste like. The absolute Smorgasbord of meat was to die for. I'm going back
We were sat close to kitchen and the meat guys just would walk right by had to flag them down the whole time but food was awesome
Always freaking awesome!
We have dined in many Texas de Brazil restaurants. This was our first time in Buffalo. We were disappointed for the over $200 we spent on dinner for four people. The service was fair at best-- we had to ask for refills of drinks and clean plates. This was unless you were the three Buffalo Bills players sitting at a table about three over from us. They had AMAZING service. Often, the meat brought to us was extremely salty--and we like salt-- and was cooked LESS than the medium rare we were told it would be. We like rare, but purple is a bit concerning. The cold bar was poorly stocked as well. Many of the items were empty or terrible close to being that way. Were they busy? Yes, they were, but again, we have visited many of these restaurants previously, and the service, as well as the food, were of much higher standards.
Every time we go there gets better we love the picanha
Excellent food and service We were seated right away.
The staffs were great! Food was lovely
We were surprised at how much we enjoyed this restaurant. It was our first time, and the menu of salad bar and grilled meats fit our needs perfectly. The service was a bit slow and we had to ask several times for water, etc, but the food, especially the meat, was excellent. Would go again, although it isn't cheap and we noticed few families there (which actually suited us just fine). We were a group of two adults and my 18 year old daughter, looking for a good protein meal after a lacrosse game! It definitely fit the bill.
I've been to this Texas de Brazil several times along with ones in other states. This was by far my worst experience, I tried to take my mother out for her birthday, the front end staff was superb very accommodating for my mother who is disabled. I was then greeted by the worst waiter I've had in a very long time. He attended to the larger tables completely ignoring my mother and I, walking right past us. Never brought us rolls I had to ask several times for ice tea only filled our water once and brought us cold mashed potatoes 3 times, he acted as though we were an inconvenience. It may have been that we were seated at a 4 person table for only 2 but we couldn't help that due to my mother's disability. I will say the manager was very nice offered us a discount without us complaining which I appreciate. I will try to go there when it's not as busy but this did ruin a special night for my mother and I.
It was good and actually our main complaint is the waiter who looked careless, and had an arrogant demeanor the entire time. We ate at other Texas de Brasil and food and experience was 5/5 but not this one
Service was amazing..very professional. Food was cooked to perfection
Waited on Brazilian picanha and filet mignon over 30 minutes. Had to ask 4 or 5 times for it. Filet mignon over cooked each time.
Our waiter Dwayne was amazing!!! Also our pina colodas were so tasty!
I judge a Brazilian Steakhouse by the amount of chimichurri the waitress brings when I ask for a cup 🤭 just kidding... Maybe because it was a Monday but the meat selection was a little scarce. The chicken parm drummets were great! And I usually don't like the chicken at Brazilian steakhouses. The other meats were good too but I drench my meat in chimichurri 😋. Disappointed that there was no grilled pineapple at the end. They did have it available at the salad bar but I prefer it warm and with cinnamon.
Excellent food and great service. Right now they have shrimp and it’s an excellent addition to the menu.
