Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Tex
We enjoyed our food just wish dessert was included 😊
One of the best restaurant's I have ever eaten at. I enjoyed my birthday dinner and even more ecstatic that I chose this restaurant to celebrate. Outstanding food and service.
My first time very trying Texas de Brazil and it was simply amazing! Everything from the staff to the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend going and trying for yourself. I will definitely be back!
Our waitress was very nice and the food was fabulous!!! God bless!! Go Trump!!!
Felt like we were being rushed to leave . Other than that everything was fine. It was nice to experience something new !
Awesome service and food. Definitely will be back.
We love going to Texas de Brazil! The food is normally delicious. We had a few pieces of meat come out that were so rare you couldn’t cut through it with a knife. And we were often left without drinks or silverware.
This is actually our favorite restaurant or it was. We understand the changes to the salad bar, the loss of the asparagus and the goat cheese hurt because both were favorites but we understand the times demand cut backs.
We even understand taking the lamb chops off the main menu because they are very expensive. But we also pay premium price to dine at Texas de Brazil so it offends us that the lamb chops are still offered but at an additional charge over and above the $50 per person meal. We are already paying $50 per person but if you want 4 lamb chops there is an additional $9 charge. You are pricing out a large part of the public.
The air conditioning was out. We were hot but still enjoyed the overall experience.
Poor experience. Poor food. Poor service. Tough steak. Barely had any meat brought around. Chicken. Chicken. Chicken. Extremely dissatisfied
I didn't like that fact that my husband and i could not have a box for what was on our plates after spending over $100.00 dollars. We had already declined more food and only wanted to take what was sitting. I would not dine in again
Covid has done some damage to our favorite treat date. We took some first timers and we were disappointed. We only had flank steak come around once. The rest of the offerings were sausage or chicken! What happened to the red meat? I love their lamb chops and I understand the unavailable for rotation but making me pay $9 for four pieces of what I would call baby chops was ridiculous and inappropriate. They say a party of two at a six top (twice in our area) while sitting this party of four at a four top. Not much room. The server fixed our salads BUT the attention to what we wanted was not paid as well as say other restaurants who are doing the similar adjustment. Everyone enjoyed the taste of the salad offerings they did receive. I don’t eat potatoes or rice so I was happy to see my fave green beans offered. However I never received mine.
The sushi is off the menu, the asparagus, and any dessert more than one person has to touch. My dream of a delicious Creme brûlée was squashed! And we were never offered bar drinks at all. Server did not check back to see what meats we still wanted, if the females (I being the payer and told her) needed more drink, more salad, seconds on anything.
I flew from SWFL home to Birmingham for this. Next time I will just wait.... maybe one day!
I’m going again very soon! My friends and I have a great time there!
Had a 6:30 reservation and did not get seated until 6:55. It was abnormally hot inside the restaurant. Several of their best desserts and best salad bar items were unavailable. Other than that it was a good experience.
With the new Covid restrictions I would not go back until it is possible to wait outside in cooler weather. Also the AC was out when we went before Covid and it is still out.
The selection was significantly limited on the salad bar and some of the meats were overcooked. Good, but not great experience. Service was excellent.
As a upscale, priced restaurant no air conditioning for customers is not right. Having to wait for a single server to make all salads, hot items, drinks, removing dirty plates, etc. the overall system of service was subpar. All the meats come within minutes cannot enjoy family time/conversation while having meat servers there. When I received the bill for the meals after my credit card was used I did not care for the server to hover over myself while signing & leaving a tip. Very poor service, I actually started getting upset. For spending over $200 plus taxes & tip it was not very pleasant. My wife & I were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary, not a great memory.
Great restaurant, excellent service and people. I recommend it for all major celebrations
Service was great. Restaurant was dark and too warm. Waiter had to get our salads due to COVID and he did a great job with all being said. COVID really has impacted the ambience. I hope they can stay open.
Our server Darius was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious. Even with new covid guidelines the service was exceptional.
Food was delicious and bountiful. The combined teamwork amongst the staff was superior service.
Servers were coming rarely to bring the meat, had to ask everytime
Due to social distancing it can be a little longer in between meat service, but they are doing the best they can. Even with the restrictions, their food, service and meat carvers were all super nice and amazing!
Outstanding service and food was absolutely delicious!
Delicious food and great service!! We will definitely be back. The lobster bisque is amazing!
Everything was delicious as always. Only problem was air conditioning not working very well. But we’ve eaten there numerous times and will still continue to eat there
Usually love TDB but they have gone overboard with the Virus response. They are seating far less than half capacity and it’s difficult to get a reservation. Additionally, they have removed the pineapple from the bar.
I contacted yal by email the night I ate to inform you of the terrible work conditions for your employees. The AC in the building does not work. I was told management knows about it but it’s a building issue and they do not want to put money into fixing the restaurant....When we were eating dinner it was 87 degrees inside. The staff was in full uniform with masks. Poor servers where sweating and line cooks looked like they were dying. No one was enjoying their time because of the heat... We did NOT enjoy our $300 meal because it was so hot. . But besides how we felt I was astonished to find out how these works are always in this heat. It is a known issue at this restaurant, which is being ignored. If u are asking ur staff to fallow Covid regulations by wearing masks then you have to have AC. It was incredibly negligent for this restaurant to make these workers work without some sort of fans or portable AC unit. I have never felt so bad for a serving staff. I will not be going back if this continues. I am very very very unhappy!! Ps. The serving staff was amazing!
Wonderful place. Even with the COVID measures it was awesome. Our waiter and gauchos were wonderful.
Great place to celebrate any occasion. Each cut of meat was amazing! Our server was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and extra of our favorites. The lamb is SO GOOD!
Even with the current social distancing guidelines in place, I really enjoyed my evening at the restaurant. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed the experience even more. The tables were spaced out well and was not crowded at all. It was a much more pleasurable experience and the food was delicious as always.
Our first time to visit and we will definitely be going back!
We had reservations for 7 Pm, we arrived at 6:55 and checked in with the hostess. There was 7 empty tables in view of is but we still waited for 30 mins before being seated. Also, a couple came in around 7:15 and was seated before us. I asked the hostess and they said they had a reservation for 6:30, and thats why they were seated before us even though they were 45 mins late for their reservation.
It was my first visit. I invited my friends and their families to have a special dinner, based on the good reviews on this restaurant. Overall our experience was fair. The manager was so nice.
The food was not as good as expected, the meat was somewhat dry and the choices for side dishes were slim to none. The servers were quick and friendly and it was a good environment. I wouldn’t say it’s overpriced but overall, it was an enjoyable trip.
Nathan did an outstanding job taking care of our family and made our dining experience very enjoyable
seated way past our reservation tine and sat in the back where we did not get as much service as the front. Food was good but not a great value
Our waiter got 2 of the 3 salad orders wrong. Not being able to serve yourself from the bar takes a lot from the dining experience. The manager seemed nice and friendly. I was disappointed that they charged $45 for my 7 year old grandsons meal.
Do not go here if you’re looking for a upscale restaurant for a special occasion.. you will be disappointed. The atmosphere is on par with a Quincey’s steak house.. Most of the food was tuff and dry way over cooked..
The service was terrible. Our waitress was focused on a large party and didn’t refill our drinks for over 20 minutes. Asked a question about a drink and she just looked at me and seemed annoyed I didn’t know what the drink consisted of, as if I was the one who worked there. Limited options were expected, however I don’t see the value in paying $45+ a person for chicken and pork with 1-2 beef items. The waitress honestly was in a nicer, friendlier mood when she brought us the check than she was the whole evening.
