My favorite place to go to whenever I want good vibes. They have incredibly nice staff! Everyone there was so professional while making sure to have outstanding customer service!
Waitstaff acted as if they were new. Not very knowledgeable and seemed unsure of herself.
Delicious beef entrée! Love the salad bar and the lobster bisque was a-maz-ing. Great as a celebration destination.
Best top sirloin I have ever had in my entire life !!! Happy 16th anniversary was had <3
We were completely ignored, never had water refilled and never even had an opportunity to see half of the meat on the menu. The table next to us must have known the owner as even the maitre d was over serving them meat swords of all varieties. Worst service I’ve ever had in Albany. Most of the meat we did have was overcooked. Huge disappointment for $400. We will NEVER return.
Great concept - miserly execution.
I've been a fan of churrascaria since the first rodizio-style eatery opened in Manhattan. I've also eaten at Texas de Brazil before, in Albany and other cities.
This was by far the poorest experience, poor as in stingy.
First, the included meat selections no longer include lamb chops; that's a $10 add-on.
Second, the actual meats served were only a portion of those described on the menu. The "gauchos" were very generous with flank steak and pork loin; not so much with lamb and filet mignon. When we asked for Brazilian sausage, it was not available at all. (What?)
The salad bar was equally bereft of high-end choices. Sure, there were lots of greens and fixings few people use; but there were only two choices of cheese and two or three of cold cuts. There was a generous slab of smoked salmon, though, with all the fixings. The lobster bisque had only a passing acquaintance with its namesake, while scalloped potatoes were not to be found at all (at least when we made a pass at the salad bar). (A heaven for vegetarians it is most assuredly not.)
The sangria was so diluted with ice that it retained hardly any flavor, much less alcohol. I should have known better as it was on "special" by the pitcher.
The service was inattentive at best; most of the time we pretty much felt ignored in favor of a largish party being served at the same time. We had to resort to getting our own fresh plates, and the dirty ones accumulated at the table for a long time.
The churrascaria-style meats still retain their appeal, as does the rodizio serving concept; the execution on this occasion, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired.
What awful customer service. Meat took 45 minutes to arrive at our table. Requested items took another 45 minutes to show up at the table. A bottle of wine that was thought to be 50% off based on what the server said ended up being full price and the manager wouldn't honor what we were told. The first bill we got had an extra dinner added onto it. Luckily, they argeed that their count was wrong and fixed that. Absolutely worst experience there and we likey won't be back anytime soon.
Very good, I liked the experience and the Brazilian rum. The salad bar was great too
I wasn’t overly impressed. I don’t think it was worth the price. I wish there was more vegetables offered with the meats. If you are into just meats, then this is the place for you.
Always a unique dining experience at Texas De Brazil. You can not be a the amount of unlimited and wonderful tasting food. The service is always great and the food is outstanding. We have missed this place!
Bring a good appetite - there is so much good food!
Overall we had a wonderful meal. Received a complimentary dessert for our Anniversary. The dessert was a coconut cream pie. It was very lacking. Crust was hard, too much sugar in filling, and very little coconut. Good thing it was complimentary. Would not recommend the pie. Overall a great meal.
I reserved a table for 6 and it was to celebrate our birthday Triplets plus me. There was no mention of our birthday and when we arrived for the reservation we had to wait for at least 30 minutes. The meat did not come until very late and it was cold and dry. I finally got a piece of meat that was warm and delicious at the very end of our meal. We received one little basket of bread and a super small serving of mashed potatoes definitely not enough for 3 six foot men and 3 women.
I have been to your restaurant before and had an amazing experience. I felt like this was a very poor experience this time I had traveled from Charlotte, NC for this occasion primarily based on my past experience with your restaurant. Very disappointed.
Nicole our server was excellent. She asked us how we liked our meats cooked and that's exactly how they were served. She asked us what meats we liked and the meat servers brought them consistently. I think it's the first time ever that we received all of our meats cooked exactly how we asked. It was our anniversary and everyone was so nice. The managers were awesome, making sure we had an excellent experience as well.
Food was very good with exceptional service. We will definitely be going back.
Went there for my anniversary. Very good! Service was excellent
Very nice ambiance and staff who were very attentive and helpful. Great food selections and awesome variety of food.
Too much money not enough food
Texas de Brazil is such a wonderful experience. The food is delicious and the staff go above and beyond.
If you are a person who likes their meat (beef) cooked more than medium you will not get much. Even after telling the waiter that was my preference not a single person brought anything that was cooked more than medium.
Service sucks waiters we’re not coming
Food was excellent. It is definitely an experience that I would suggest you try. The salad bar far exceeded my expectations and the meats were very tasty. I do not eat any pork so that eliminated about 2-3 of the meats available to me. Still in all, everything was superb. However, once you start on the salad bar, when you get to the meats, you are already full. The lobster bisque was Amazing which for me was the best part of my meal. I am truly glad I went for my birthday. Excellent choice! Go for it.
Service was excellent. The "gauchos " kept bringing meat skewers faster than we could eat them.
Salad bar was more than just salad and was great.
Restaurant was in a mall and had full glass walls on two sides which made it seem a little like dining in a fish bowl but was otherwise quite nice and not too noisy.
Meal was a little pricey at 46 dollars per person without alcohol. Overall worth it, however.
The food was amazing, though the salad bar and lobster bisque was my absolute favorite. No service was really slow and no matter how many times we were apologized to it didn't quicken up at all we were left constantly without any food for long periods of time with our card flipped over for yes deliver more meat and just kept getting more apologies at the end of our experience we chose to just be finished instead of continuing to wait.
Overall the food was good, but not the exceptional quality we had a few years ago. Some of the meat was tough. The bacon wrapped chicken was actually the best!
It was a wonderful delicious experience!!! We look forward to going again !
Texas de Brazil is great for an intimate dinner or a large group event. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is elegant.
Food was good! And a lot of it! Waiter was great!
Maria was great! she was super helpful when it came to all the options and recommended a very tasty drink.
The food was way over-priced and there are no leftovers. You have two choices for dinner - to get the salad bar/soup for $30 or add meat for a total of $47 per person. The food looked great, but didn't taste as good as it looked. It was ok.
This was a wonderful visit. Everything was up to our expectations,
Nothing but great things to say about this visit all around.
We had a blast and the food was excellent! Great time!
Meat was dry and tough. Had a filet minion it was so tough. Had been to a Brazilian restaurant in Niagara in Canada and it was a treat, had expected to be the same. Maybe it was a bad night but once was enough for me.
Maybe they had an off night? We’ve had great experiences in TdB Schaumburg, Illinois.
The staff was great, very attentive. The food was delicious. Variety of choices at the salad bar. The dessert choices were great. Hard to choose which one was best. Overall a great experience
We were placed between two different tables with a lot of toddlers on each side. The noise and screaming was obscene. It made for what is usually a great time completely unbearable. You should have a place specifically for children abs away from adults.
Nice restaurant. Good service. Would love a little more hot side dishes
Food is incredible!
Great customer service!
Great for Anniversary’s,Birthday Dinner relaxed atmosphere.
Worth every penny!
Service was slower than usual and there were several times the gauchos missed us. Some of the meat was not as good quality as we are used to there. Overall it is still a great experience and am guessing staff and supply shortages are to blame.
