Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Tex
Chicken breast, Garlic Sirloin and Filet with Bacon
Maybe they had an off night? We’ve had great experiences in TdB Schaumburg, Illinois.
The staff was great, very attentive. The food was delicious. Variety of choices at the salad bar. The dessert choices were great. Hard to choose which one was best. Overall a great experience
We were placed between two different tables with a lot of toddlers on each side. The noise and screaming was obscene. It made for what is usually a great time completely unbearable. You should have a place specifically for children abs away from adults.
Nice restaurant. Good service. Would love a little more hot side dishes
Food is incredible!
Great customer service!
Great for Anniversary’s,Birthday Dinner relaxed atmosphere.
Worth every penny!
Service was slower than usual and there were several times the gauchos missed us. Some of the meat was not as good quality as we are used to there. Overall it is still a great experience and am guessing staff and supply shortages are to blame.
Great food, excellent salad bar
Service could have been better, wait staff was not too attentive toward the end of our meal, but still a good experience!
Amazing service from managers, waiters and food servers. Drinks, atmosphere, food, customer service and everything was amazing. The only small complaint that I have was that the person at the front desk who greeted us gave me the impression that she was in a hurry to get us seated and did not want to take the time to smile or talk to us.
Great first time experience! Our waiter Jose was GREAT…professional, personable and attentive. The food was good and definitely plentiful. Great evening celebrating a friend’s Bday
Waiter was not as attentive as I would have liked for the prices paid ..the men bringing the men were outstanding though
Second time in a row that I went there and they must be short of help because there are hardly anyone going around with meat. Had to ask the server a couple times. Also, the seasoning on the meat was not to be found so the flank steak for example, which is usually a star, was fairly flavorless. Salad bar was great as always.
Bobby is by far the best and most attentive server I've had yet....
This visit was back on par with a great food and great service we expect from Texas de Brazil.
After our previous adventure I was skeptical to go back for a while but we made the right choice.
Food was excellent service was excellent as usual.
Kudos to the team for pulling it back together.
My husband and I went here for dinner. Our waiter Jose was actually pretty accommodating. However, when I asked for well done as opposed to rare, due to health reasons, I was served literally charred meat that smelled burnt and was visibly so. Mind you this was after asking the servers several times for more cooked cuts. Explaining that I couldn’t eat rare. It was almost as If the chefs/ cooks were sending a message that it wasn’t the preferred way to serve meat. For how much money we spent there, it really shouldn’t take much to accommodate a particular request. Also there is a huge gap between no pink and straight up black charred meat.
Also, my husband and myself thought the food was super salty. The salad bar was pretty fresh though and the most enjoyable part of the meal.
We still tipped our waiter well because he was professional but won’t be returning for sure.
Great experience to celebrate my son’s birthday. Every one was pleasant and attentive
The salad bar was more than what we expected and the meats were delicious
Definitely will go back
Excellent food. However, the service was ok. We did not have the usual higher end meat come to our table regularly without having to request it.
Servers were slow / infrequent, ended up not eating much meat. Also forgetful with beverages. Meat quality was sub par compared to other Brazilian steakhouses I’ve been to.
It was my wife and mine first time for our anniversary and it was excellent
My favorite restaurant of all time. The food was excellent as always. The gaucho service was pretty good, maybe could have been a touch faster, but the main wait service for drinks and side dishes was a bit slow, slower than the gauchos. But overall, it wasn't bad service and I understand everyone is having trouble with staffing in these crazy times, so I am not upset by it. I will definitely be back soon.
We have always enjoyed our meals at Texas de Brazil, since the wide variety of dishes served makes for a much more interesting meal.
Their one point of failure seems to be post-meal staff attention. On several occasions, we have had a lengthy wait, both to receive our bill, and then to pay it.
At present that may also be a result of a shortage of waitstaff that many restaurants are suffering from. Even though the tedious post-meal wait can be a bit annoying, we still plan to patronize TdB -- next time, we'll specifically ask to have our bill and pay it, when the waitperson comes by to try to see if we want to order a dessert. If that solves the problem, we'll simply do that in the future.
Always enjoy dining at Texas de Brazil. Wonderful meal & we had an awesome waiter.
Much of the meat, specially the items that do not need to be cut off a larger piece, were cooked well and dry. Food came at long intervals and most in my party left without being full. The lamb chops are no longer included. The potatoes and soup were luke warm there was an issue with the food warmer area I saw the staff trying to fix it. First time back since covid will not return.
Great food. Clean restaurant. Staff was courteous.
Extremely expensive, with that being said, the salad bar was extensive for all tastes, but $30 for a salad bar of any kind blows my mind. Once seated and they start bringing meat to your table it's an experience that doesn't last that long. They become slower and slower to return, all the meat tastes the same after awhile, burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. Some were better than others but again, Very Expensive $$$$--- my opinion not worth the money
Service was not good. We asked a few times for certain meats to be brought over and they weren’t. We only had about 5 people come over to offer meats, not like it usually is.
Great food and super service!
The service of Texas de Brazil seems to go down every time I go, the servers straight up stopped serving our table after about 30 minutes. The whole point is to to pay alot of money to eat until you are full. Now it seems you're allowed to eat for about a 30 minutes before they cut you off. Much of the food was also over cooked, and the higher quality meats never seemed to come to our table. Maybe it was a bad night, or maybe the quality of service is just going down.
The restaurant is very cool. The salad bar was great. The meat was OK. It shows up randomly and some never gets there. Some was raw and some dried out. Overall good but not what I remember pre-Covid. What is?
They were slow to come around to the table and multiple times looked at the green circles and kept walking by. We just felt forgotten about.
Food was amazing as always; service was impeccable! Our waiter was super attentive and made our night of a birthday celebration very enjoyable
Excellent service sand experience. We love it there. Everyone from the management to the servers to the carvers are friendly and on point.
Love going back there every time we can.
Service was so slow, we had to have the manager and server send over meat 4x. Deff didn't get my moneys worth, we were sat clearly where we were forgot about. Asking for something else took about 20 mins in between. We were there 2 hours and an hour and a half of it was a waiting game. Usually love this place but the last couple have times were not impressive.
This evening my husband and I went to Texas De Brazil in Albany, NY to celebrate out Wedding Anniversary and I must say, it was one of the worst dining experiences we have had. After waiting over 10 minutes for out server, the Manager (I presume) came over to take our drink order. After another 5 minutes and no setver, we got up and helped ourselves to the salad area. After another 10 minutes a random server came and asked how we were doing and I informed her that our server hasn't even come to our table yet. She checked the slip on the table and was surprised that it was she, that was our server.
She informed us to wait a few more minutes and "she would be all ours". We told Aly that we wanted our meat well done. Only a few meats came to our table and they saved us the burnt crisps of the meat. It was disgusting. By then, we ate more salad, as we were hungry and no carvers in site. Finally fed up with the horrible service, my husband asked for the check and the server tried offering us free dessert, but that does not compensate for the exuberant price we pay for dinner, to not be served any cuts of meat. The manager only charged us for the salad, which is a rediculous $30 per person for some jasmine rice and mixed greens. So we paid $60 for a bag of lettuce I could have picked up for $2.99 at Walmart.
I have ate here before and will again. This time round though I found some of the meats too charred on the outside.
Best birthday dinner! Would highly recommend for any special occasion.
It was our first time and our waiter Bob was amazing!
It's always a nice experience here. Food was excellent. Wait staff was super friendly but not as attentive as I would like and a bit pushy with the upselling (wine/dessert).
Everything great except the billing as usual. Takes forever to get the bill, and once you do, processing takes forever as the server is doing other things. I eat there a lot, and this is the case 4 out of 5 times. If improved I would give 5 stars.
This place was great and we received alot to eat. Will definitely recommend to others.
