Garlic Mashed Potatoes
This place did not live up to expectations. The service was horrible and the waiter really sucked
It is not worth the money to go here with the new rules in place they walk past your table with meat and don’t offer you anything your server will lol at you sitting there and not come back and when you ask for something you don’t get it anyways. Loved this place before the pandemic but it’s not worth it now.
The waiter was good. But the hostess was rude, walked away from the front desk for over 5 minutes with us waiting without saying a word. We had a reservation and the hostess proceeded to take the other 3 people besides us name or checked them in, while we waited 10 plus minutes to be seated with a reservation. Plus the table wasn't ready either, and took another 5 minutes to be cleaned off.
We have been there many times but this time was disappointing. Filet had the silver skin sill on at least the pieces we had so you had to try and cut that off. When they sliced sirloin it was in slivers. A lot might have been due to COVID. Because of COVID you could not go to salad bar. You checked off what you wanted and it was brought to you. We like to see what is there to pick what we want. They had less to offer than they had all the other times. Very hard to hear and understand server with mask on and music as load as it was.
when we filled out the sheet for the salad bar we never got what we wanted, marinated mushrooms, lobster bisque...and then our waiter asked us if we wanted more mashed potatoes, we said yes, he never brought them? There was no grilled shrimp on the kabobs.
And when the check came for $111.00, I gave the waiter my gift card for $100.00 and the bonus gift card for $25.00. He brings me a bill for $11.00, I asked him why he didn't use the $25.00 gift card, he said it didn't have a number, because it doesn't. When you get the $100 gift card, the $25.000 is the bonus attached to the $100.00. Really weird that the waiter doesn't understand the promotion. Now I have a $25.00 gift card that I need to redeem. Unbelievable.
I went with a group of 4 for a birthday and two of us received the wrong salad/starting courses. Which for this, we had to give a slip of what we wanted to our waiter so it was clear what we wanted for food. One of us never received a drink that we ordered and they tried to charge us in the end for it. We waited an hour for the food to come and then another hour for the meat “Brazilian” portion of the meal to begin. We had then ordered dessert to go before leaving because by now we had been there for 3 hours and we got home to eat the dessert and one of them was not what we ordered. On top of this is was ridiculously expensive for how terrible of service we got.
Most meats were very dry. Salad bar was ok, considering covid wise.
First time here. Really enjoyed t. Employees were very friendly. Can’t wait to go back
The music was a little loud, service was GREAT!!!
After being seated we waited over 25 minutes to get drinks including water, we then waited over an hour and 20 minutes before our salads were brought. We had a party of 7 and only 1 individual size server of hot sides was brought to the table until I asked for more. Once the meat started flowing it came frequently but it took us over an hour and a half to get to that point. Definitely not worth the $476.00 bill.
One of my favorite restaurants, this visit did get better but at first I was a little disappointed but the manager fixed the problem.
The food was great but service was very slow. It took a while to get each item we ordered from drinks to dessert. Our check was incorrect.
We were a 4 top celebrating 3 birthdays & the restaurant gave each of the birthday people a free dessert which was amazing.
The restaurant was loud which it has been every time I’ve been there (several times a year)
Excellent food and service as always. Interesting how they have overcome covid guidelines and have implemented them very well. Felt very safe.
It was as good as you could expect dining in COVID era, salad bar was weird, as they served you, meats were awesome as always
Delicious food and great service. Love this place, will definitely go again.
It was a different experience then we had been accustomed to in the past due to the salad bar being served by the servers since COVID prevented us from serving ourselves. It was innovative that they set up tickets to select what you would like & it was all delivered from multiple servers. One disadvantage to that, totally beyond their control and not a complaint but I would have preferred to see the food & take my portions based on what appealed to me. I am glad they could keep the salad bar going even if it couldn’t be self serve for the time being. Definitely not as busy as we have seen it before there. All in all a good experience, the server was so patient with us. One thing that really was appreciated was the hero’s discount for the two corrections officers & the teacher at the table! Great way to celebrate & family friendly.
Their lobster bisque is amazing!!!!
For a Thursday evening, it was very busy.
There should have been more servers.
We ordered a rack of lamb chops that were so salty that we had to send them back for another.
We also had the filet which was good, but not as good as I remember from my last visit.
I think that covid has hurt this restaurant, the staffing and the food were not up to pre covid visits.
The sides are ordinary and the pork was dry. It’s way too much money for the quality. Before tip, it was $167 for three people (one glass of wine, otherwise soda).
I realize things have changed due to cover, however, I was disappointed with the way the meats were being served. There are no more green and red wafers to turn over at the tables so the servers could know when someone did or did not request more servings. Consequently, after the meats were served one time the servers did not come around unless we asked our waiter to locate a meat server and send them to our table. I much prefer the previous method that included the green and red wafers that would let the meat servers know when someone was ready for more. The price was the same, but the availability of the meats and the service were certainly not the same.
Everything was just fine.
All the food was delicious, I wish I hadn't eaten before I went.
Great time, socially distant, amazing food! Drive 1.5 hours so my daughter could have her birthday dinner there...was the only place she wanted to go!
What a great experience to have.. delicious food and great staff..
Love this place. I would recommend it. A little expensive but it’s all you can eat.
I know there are new restrictions with COVID but service was very slow. It was hard to get a refill on anything.
Great job!!Just continue your good service and delicious food
Overall the experience was great it was my girlfriend’s first time there and she loved it
Excellent as usual. With covid, we still had a great time. The server was very good. The manage made sure to come over to us and make sure we were happy with the service. A+++
We enjoyed everything—cocktail, food, ambiance, and service was great! We ordered dessert to take home which was delicious. The software application to make reservations is very user friendly and allowed us the opportunity to change our arrival time. Congrats to all involved in making it a pleasant experience!
It’s because we come in a group doesn’t mean we have to have the salad on a huge plate for all. That no one liked it and I didn’t like the idea at all. We understand that we can’t go pick our own but at least we should do separate plates for everyone. I understand it’s man power and that will waste your waiter /waitress time but I don’t think that is my problem at the end. I do not think we will be coming again it’s only because of that reason. Hope this complain will make things better for you.
We celebrated my son's 30th birthday and as a former chef, he and everyone who attended throughly enjoyed it! There were only couple cons, some gentlemen bringing meats to the table, only asked one person at the table if they wanted a certain type of meat, and then walked away. Also, we actually had to ask for filet with bacon and it didn't appear that all meats were brought to our table.
I used to LOVE Texas de Brazil! We went probably once every few months and the experience was always solid. Ever since they re-opened after COVID-19 it seems that the steak temperatures are a bit hit and miss. My first round of flank steak was pretty much raw, the next round was well done (after asking for medium rare). Service was attentive and responsive.
Some of the food was amazing......some of it was not. There were some meats that were simply inedible, it was grizzle and fat and had to be disposed of in a napkin, it was some sort of sirloin. The staff was very attentive and did a good job of keeping up with us.
Food was amazing as always! One member of our party had never been so it is always entertaining to see how excited they are with the whole dining experience. Huge kudos to how the restaurant handled the COVID distancing with the salad bar. Extremely varied tastes among our group but they easily accommodated all our requests. Servers, managers, gauchos, everyone was pleasant, upbeat and helpful...as always! Unanimously the favor restaurant choice of our extended family! Thank you again for not disappointing!
As the world we live in today, this Restaurant does everything they can to protect their customers, it is clean and the staff is well trained, Food was excellent...
The food was excellent! Looking forward to going back!
The restaurant was pretty empty. We had not been there since all the shut-downs. You cannot go to the salad bar anymore, but they give you a sheet with all the salad bar items on it, and you can mark what you would like and they get it for you. The meats were just as plentiful, as well as the sides, and all delicious. The waitstaff is very attentive and all very nice. The music seemed a bit on the loud side with the restaurant so empty, which made it a little hard to understand the waitstaff with their masks on. Overall still a great experience even thought it is different.
Great service and delicious food!
Great meal; great experience. I’m confident I will be back.
The food was great as usual. I feel as though we were rushed through the process a bit though. The meat usually comes around at kind of a slow pace. This time we had 2-3 gauchos at a time come through with offerings. This is usually a place we relax and have a few drinks with our meal, not this time! The salad bar and soup is closed to customers, to be ordered and delivered by your server. Great idea, but was never offered anything after the initial serving. One last change that was a little unsettling is they now charge for lamb chops a la carte. Either take them off the menu or price accordingly to have it built in. It is a bit understandable given that half of their tables are closed off due to COVID. I would actually rather pay a higher price to make up for it than be rushed through my meal. I probably will not be back until restrictions are lifted. Paying $150 for dinner for two is not bad, for a great experience. This was not a great experience.
