Chicken breast, Garlic Sirloin and Filet with Bacon
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
It was very good food salad bar was excellent also
No lamb chops were brought around in the 90 minutes we were there, bit disappointing those are our favorite
It was a great experience.
Our waiter was amazingly helpful with everything
Excellent food as always, great service, happy the salad bar was opened. I appreciated the crème brûlée.
The food here is good. Basically, use the salad bar to compliment the meats that come around. The wait staff here are very busy and don’t come to the table often. Took much longer to get drinks than it should have. Had already gone to the salad bar and started eating before any of the meat tenders came around and had almost finished four plates before the drinks were brought out. The restaurant is noisy and the salad bar can get a bit crowded even with the Covid limit of ten at a time. I found the meats to be very salty but tasty. I figure they use a lot of salt to fill you up quickly and lessen the amount you’ll eat while there. Desserts are Al a carte and will run you around 9/each. We had four in our party and with only four drinks and one dessert item with our meals the bill was $239 not including tip. Probably wouldn’t go back for a very long time. This was my second time here and again I left feeling underwhelmed by the service and somewhat unsatisfied with the food. It’s a unique dining experience though and cool to try atleast once or twice. The meats are usually cooked medium rare and vary from flanks to filets, some with bacon, sausages and pork. The pork I got was extremely dry and I couldn’t eat it. Other than that, like I said, it was tasty but very salty. For the price tag, there are much better places to eat in town with much higher standards of customer service and food quality.
My wife and I celebrated her birthday with our first dinner out since being fully vaccinated. We were very happy to see the salad bar was open (must be masked in this area and gloves/hand sanitizer are also available). Meat selection was not as varied as it once was, with my favorite, lamp chops, only available as a special order item at an additional cost. We did order some and were allowed to take the unfinished portion of the lamb chops home.
Our server was really attentive and helped make the night a great one. We'll be back again as this is one of our favorite spots.
We enjoyed our first experience at Texas de Brazil!!
Great to have them open again. Excellent food and service. With VIP card you can’t ask for more. I was really happy to see the salad bar open as well.
Our experience was great! Food selection was amazing and delicious! Never had to wait for more meat!!
this is the only place I have seen with any type of buffet. You could use gloves or sanitizer before getting your food which both were provided. I felt comfortable doing that. The food was very good and the service was great.
Loved it. It was fantastic and amazing with great company.
My husband and I always have a great time when we go to TdB. It wasn't very crowded and the staff was super friendly and followed Covid guidelines to make sure everyone could dine safely. Food was amazing and so was the staff
Wonderful food, from the extensive salad bar offerings to the huge variety of meats, served by people who make you feel like they're happy to be serving you. What could be better?
Started out great then meat servers stopped coming around which tanked the experience but hostess and waitress were great
We love Texas de Brazil and have been several times pre and post pandemic. The only complaint we really had was that the drinks including water refills were poorly attended. Many of the meats are salty and having water refills readily available would be very helpful. There are enough staff around someone needs to specifically be put on water and/or other runner items like the bananas or mashed potatoes. All that we still love it and we will be back.
Me and my group of 4 other people 5 people total got half a plate of food the first 20 minutes we were there we then proceeded to order and pitcher of wine by the time we finished that we hadn't gotten any more food for 45 minutes until we asked a manager who told us he was sorry asked what kind of meat we wanted we then asked for medium rare and got charcoaled meat all round a terrible meal and experience and an absolute rip off we were celebrating a birthday we paid 260$ It was the biggest waste of my hard earned money
Very good place for a date, my date and I had a wonderful time.
The salad bar was great. A lot of the meat was dry and burnt besides the filet mignon which was delicious. Wish there was a way to stop the guys from coming to your table though hard to have a conversation when people keep coming over with meat lol other than that the building itself was beautifully decorated. Service wasn’t the best...
It was wonderful. Great food, great server. Just be aware it is pricey
Plenty of different meats offered but most of the meat was very poor quality. The “filet mignon” wasn’t even chewable. I’ve never had filet mignon that had so much fat in it.
The service was great. The meat cutters come by the tables pretty much non stop.
Overall, this place is way overpriced because of the quality of the meat. If they had good meat it would definitely be worth the price they charge.
The experience was everything I wanted it to be. I had my girlfriend and 2 daughters with me, it was my girlfriend’s birthday dinner. We loved the food. The meats were cooked to perfection. The staff even sang happy birthday to my girlfriend which made her very happy. She loved her chocolate cake as well as her patron margarita. Thanks !
Salad bar did not have half the things on it that were listed in menu not happy with it meat was very good but would not go back again
This is our 6th time there in 2 years. And we will be back many many more. Thank you for everything and the food was just out of this world. The staff treats us just like family. Keep up the great work.
Albany Texas de Brazil is always great! We travel an extra 45 minutes to Come here than going to Hartford from Western Massachusetts as we know the food spicing will always be consistent & have the mall to walk our overly full stomachs off some before the travel home! They are always friendly & welcoming of my husbands Service Dog also. Have been to many Texas de Brazil’s over the past 10 years throughout the US and they are welcoming with amazing food & staff!
It was my girlfriends birthday. We were greeted by a hostess, "how you be?" . We were seated within ten minutes of our reservation. The salad bar was amazing. The waitress finally brought our drinks out between 30 and 45 minutes after getting up to get salad, well into our dinner. The drinks were so strong most of our guests could not drink them. The meats were very good and there was no shortage of service when it came to the delivery of meat. My girlfriend was splattered by some juice while a server was cutting meat, it would have been nice if the manager came to us but when I went to speak with the manager it was handled very well and the blouse was cleaned and paid for so no further complaints about that part. It took almost a half hour just to get the checks and leave. If the waitresses and bartenders service matched the food I would be glad to reccomend this restaurant to friends but I will not be returning or reccomend this place to anyone in the future. Great food, its too bad the experience did not live up to the expectations.
Amazing! Our waiter Drew was phenomenal
Had a great time
Great food and environment that made for a wonderful evening
Very happy the self serve buffet is back open. They provide hand sanitizer and single use disposable gloves that you can choose to do either/or. It was nice and quiet for a Friday night.
We go once in a while to this place. It is a little pricy, but the food is great. The waitress was fine at the beginning but once she got busier, the service decreased
Service was slow. There was an enormous amount of people there. 2 large parties and every table was full. It was soooo loud and too many people in one place. You couldn’t tell that there is a National pandemic going on. No staff were watching the salad bar line to make sure folks were being safe there. The food ran out .. and silverware was also scarce. We had to wait a long time to get our drinks and silverware. I spent 250 bucks there and shouldn’t have the experience I had. The hostess was very nice- but our waitress was beyond stressed out and nowhere to be found when we needed our beverages, silverware, Etc.
We barely had anyone coming around with beef, medium rare was very rare and we continually had to call someone and then had to wait almost 40 minutes for our check
We eat here often and never had a problem until this last experience. We sat at the table for 45 minutes with no silverware, no water, Only had bread!, which some was hard. We asked to speak to a manager on three separate occasions, only on the third occasion one finally came which was only because they didn’t want to let us split our tab and we made a big deal about it. The meat servers walked past our party for at least 45 minutes!! While serving people all around us, our lamb chops didn’t come until we were done with our dinner. And as stated earlier we only got a manager when we refuse to pay the full bill without it being separate checks
We Love coming here! This was the first time that we didn’t not feel the cost was worth it.
The service was good but the food was less than good.
Most was over cooked and only a few pieces were good. Will definitely go again but was jays dissatisfied with this night!
It's a bit pricey, but I promise if you leave hungry, it's your own fault.
Food was good
Was not happy that after ordering 2 vodka mixed (very SMALL - single) drinks that we were charged for Greygoose vodka, a whopping $22 for both. The waitress even asked us if we cared what vodka and we said no. I thought that was very unethical to just charge us for top shelf and to be honest it certainly didn't taste like top shelf. I'm just glad when she asked us if we would like another we declined, not even realizing how much we would be charged at the end. The bathroom was disgusting also and there is a massive artificial flower display that hangs over the salad bar - can't imagine that's very sanitary considering how hard it must be to dust and clean so the cobwebs that thing has lurking in it must make their way into the salad bar below :( YUCK !! Definitely a place that gives you a boatload of meat if that's what your in to but in my opinion extremely overrated !!!
Maybe they had a bad night. I have never eaten at a worse location of this chain.
First time at Texas De Brazil, It was a great experience.
The food was not as great as it is used to be. I was not impressed 😮
Amazing service and they make sure you are well fed. The steaks were cooked to your preference. Great flavor. Dessert was delicious and perfectly paired with a drink. I look forward to returning .
