Texas de Brazil - Addison Ratings and Reviews
We eat at all the Texas De Brazil’s all the time but this one this time wasn’t the greatest. They didn’t even have riped bananas for the cinnamon bananas and the food just wasn’t like normal and they only had one toilet for everyone to use. Our sangria was not like normal either but I do have to say the management and wait staff were great and he did take the sangria off for us.
We found the restaurant had been remodeled since our previous visit, and was nicely done. The salad bar was fresh and had numerous selections along with soups and other special offers. The meat offerings were hot and flavorful, and the choices were adequate. The sides were the usual and pretty much lackluster. The service was very attentive and friendly. Overall, a nice dining experience.
I love this restaurant . I come here often , but on this date for my spouses 2 year marriage anniversary the service was not great . My seat was filled with crumbs , our table was dirty . And the hostess had to remove jackets and purses from our table /chairs because the people next to us placed their belongings. The lamb was chewy , not as soft as usual . And our receipt was innacurately marked. Our waiter had to adjust .
I usually give this place a 5 . This time it deserves a 3 to be kind .
The food was prepared to eye appealing effect. The meats were cooked just right for me. Restaurant was cold inside, for me at least. Maybe just me, however, the somewhat noisy atmosphere limited my conversation with my wife, which I found a bit annoying. Service was great, as well as attention to detail. Overall, it was a good experience. When I spend over $100.00 for dinner for two, I would at least like a glass of merlot. Maybe next time
We went for lunch after setting a reservation. Your hostess was excellent as was the waitress. The salad bar and hot table had tasty and a wide variety of entrées. We waited for some time before a meat server came by and then waited several long minutes before another came by. We then waited for quite some time, and no meat selections appeared. We finally flagged down our waitress to ask what happened to the meat servers. She left and soon someone appeared with sausage than a few minutes later another with leg of lamb in response to my wife asking the previous server if it was available. We thought that maybe you cut back on the meat selections for the lunch service. Having waited so long for meat selections which missing was the bacon wrapped chicken and beef among other items that we found ourselves full from consuming the side dishes while waiting.
Will we give it another try? Don't know, weren't really impressed with what was to be the marque reason for coming to your establishment which was the meat. Having to wait, then make requests and then wait again for the requested item to appear was not what we expected.
As usual, the food is quite worth the trouble. I was slightly annoyed that we made reservations for our party, but still had to wait another 20 minutes for our table after our party arrived. I'm sure the hanger didn't help. I didn't know lobster bisque wasn't an option during lunch, but the cream of jalapeño amply made up for it. I will still continue to patronize TdB, but I'd like my reservation time honored next time.
The staff was very courteous and put up with my questions regarding Portuguese, so I certainly appreciated that! Everything after we were seated went splendidly.
Even though we had a great waitress, we often had to wait for things. Not enough wait staff. We also had to ask for meat to be brought around because of slow service. Last round of drinks finally came at the end of the meal. I would definitely go back if service improved.
The reserved table was right next to the kitchen when asked for another table then it was by the door way! Could not get steak medium well! Asked several times and even asked a manager! Kept bringing rare! Overall, very disappointing experience on Christmas Eve! DC
Went for our annual Christmas Eve dinner. Excellent food and service as always. A bit pricey for frequent visits but a good value if you enjoy indulging in a variety of quality meats. Great salad bar and desserts too. I’m Never disappointed at Texas de Brazil.
TdB never fails to impress and the addition off the horseradish encrusted prime rib is the cherry on the top! Everything is always SO fresh, flavorful, and the service is pristine. Fabio does a excellent job and is very personable. You cannot go wrong here--treat yourself.
It was good. Very crowded so it was very loud. You could not carry on a conversation with the other people at the table because it was so loud. Not one time that the waiter came by or someone else that they did not hit my chair because they had the tables so close together. No parking. Our whole party had to park in other parking lots and prayed our cars didn't get towed. One couple had to park at least 1/2 mile away from the restaurant.
The food was awesome and love to eat there just wish they would have not had it so crowded where we could have been comfortable while eating.
