Texas de Brazil - Addison Ratings and Reviews
My friends and I visited your Addison location on Saturday Dec 9th- for what was to be a "Girls Night Out" of dinner and dancing.
Well dancing never happened due to the horrible experience we had at this location. We had a reservation for 8:15pm (I have attached). We were seated after 9pm!! There was NO apology, no manager intervened- no communication whatsover after asking "what was the estimated time to be seated"
Our server was in fact gracious in his efforts. We had dinner after which we ordered dessert. It took 30 min for dessert to get to our table, at this time the restaurant is already half empty so we're not understanding what is the hold up. After dessert we received our bill and went to pay. It took 40min-1 hour for our payments to go through!!! At this point we asked to speak to a manager- at some point there were 2 managers present. To say the treatment and customer service we received was poor would be an understatement. No one cared..No one apologized- once again. Both Managers took the position of "okay so what do up want me to do". One of them was extremely rude and belligerent in fact.
This was a totally awful experience. We entered your restaurant at 8pm and left at midnight - with a reservation. There were 5 of us - or average bill was 65 dollars (we did have drinks) so a table of ladies paying your restaurant at last 400 dollars was given an attitude of "so what - get over it". Your management staff needs serious customer service training- and it's sad to say that the person that was "lowest" in this hierarchy- our server, was the only one that showed any level of dignity and customer service.
I made a reservation for 7:45pm but did not get seated until 8:45pm. I understand it is company holiday season but I believe Texas de Brazil could have done a better job with handling small party reservations. Or at least placed a warning on their reservation system that this kind of delay might happen.
If it wasn't for the long wait, I would have given a higher rating on service because our waiter and the rest of the food servers were very good.
This was the perfect Thanksgiving experience. Our reservation was at 2:15pm, we arrived at 1:30pm and were seated within 10 minutes. Plenty of meat(including turkey) and ate more than if we were at grandma’s. I recommend Texas De Brazil for any holiday meal.
Although known for it's meat choices, the salad bar was great, good choices, fresh and different from many others you encounter. Meats were great, some cuts a little too salty and the rib was the best overall. As expected, expensive, but for a special occasion... why not.
This is definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had at a Texas de Brazil or any other Brazilian churrascaria. Our table was available as soon as we arrived at the restaurant, so we were immediately seated. It was my Dad's birthday, so the whole crew knew and all told him Happy Birthday. For dessert, they even brought out a piece of their amazing Key Lime Pie with a birthday candle and "Happy Birthday" written on the rim of the plate. I was super impressed to see the manager seating guests, checking on guests at their tables, and even wiping down tables. I will be back here anytime I want to revisit Brasil!
My husband and I attended your Addison location this past Saturday night (11/11/17) to celebrate his birthday. He had never been there and so I was wanting to have him experience the full effect of this place that I have always found to be romantic. When I made the reservation, I had requested for the table to have a nice table cloth placed on it, covered in rose petals as well a dessert to be brought out with "Happy Birthday" written around the edges of the plate (I would have paid for all of this of course). Upon arriving, we were told our table was in the process of being put together. I assumed this meant my request was being taken care of and had it not been able to have been fulfilled, I would have been informed of such. So when we were finally seated, we were seated at a table with nothing that I had requested on it. I didn't mention it because my husband didn't know I had requested it to begin with and didn't want to make a big deal out of it in front of him. I informed our waiter that we were there to celebrate my husbands birthday and again, nothing special was done on the dessert plate. We had very poor customer service, I was left disappointed in the fact that none of my requests were fulfilled with nothing being said to me that it wasn't possible to do them, the noise level was exceptionally loud and to make matters worse, the woman that brought our fried yucca and cheese bread to our table spoke so fast and in such a hurry that my husband didn't understand what she said. When he asked her to repeat it, she became very annoyed that she had to re-explain herself and after explaining it a second time, asked him, "do you get it now?". That was very rude, uncalled for and unprofessional. The food itself was amazing, however the customer service we received, especially with it being my husbands first time in this establishment, was very poor and rather disappointing. Very disappointing. I wanted this to be such a special night for him & that was not done.
Had reservations for 8:30 and did not get seated until 45 minutes later. When I asked the hostess what was the purpose of setting up a reservation if you have the same wait as a walk in and she shrugged her shoulders. Did not appreciate the wait. I ended up being late for plans set up after dinner.
My husband and I went to Texas de Brazil for Veterans Day meal. We were treated like a king and a queen. The manager himself seated us personally. He also informed our waitress and waiter that we were Veterans and to be treated as such. We have eaten here before many times and the service has always perfect but this time it seemed it that this night every one came by to thank us for us for our service. I never felt more proud to have to have served our nation than I was that night. If I could give this restaurant 10 gold stars I would. Anyone who wants a fantastic meal and a great experience please go to Texas de Brazil.
Great food, Great experience as usual for the original location. They truly have my number. Send me an email, offer $8 off the price, and said "Don't answer the door for Halloween, and come have a great meal". Well it worked. The place was very quite compared to normal. We had great attention and service.
Friendly staff, fantastic service, excellent food. So many options and although it's all you can eat meat there are many healthy options at the salad bar to offset the amazing meat options. I went for my anniversary and had such a wonderful time. The creme brulee is so amazing as well as the chocolate mouse cake. The menu is pricey but well worth it. The dinner is around $50 and every dessert is $10 so if you get dinner and dessert with just water it will be around $125 or so not including tip. This is definantly somewhere I will return.
