First time but it won’t be our last. It’s a little far but worth it. Thanks
My husband and I ordered the long bone tomahawk ribeye for two. Don't do it! It was rubbery and super fatty. And lacked any flavor. The baked potato was the best part of the meal and for 58 dollars that is shameful. My sister got the cowgirl T- bone and let me have some. Her steak was delicious. We told our waitress about our experience but the manager never came by.
Wonderful staff, food and environment. The only bad thing about this place is not enough choices on the menu. :)
Good food, good service, reasonable prices; what more could you ask for! Best fillet I've had in a long time...
Since moving to the surrounding area- we have made thisnour local go-to. For the price, the amount of food is amazing and fresh! By far THE best steak and chicken I’ve ever eaten- and I have eaten in all top 3 steak restaurants in the US- Including all local. You will not be disappointed/ (ask for Susan!)
Texas Cattle company has the best steaks hands down of any place I've been too. They are always cooked the way you want, the price is good for the quality of meat. I love their loaded baked potatoe. I ask for the salad without olives because they give you LOTS of olives! Been going here for a few years now and am never disappointed!
Dillon, outstanding service!
The steak was very undercooked and the taste wasn't very good. It was hard to cut through and was full of nothing but gristle. Very unsatisfied with the overall meal considering the amount you're paying.
Great steak place. Go for Happy Hour. Go early, It gets crowded.
Evening began nice. My husband and I split the tomahawk ribeye which was grilled as expected, however, extremely fatty and a lot of gristle (phenomenal flavor).
We were able to exchange it for a second ribeye, which was absolutely delicious! Management and staff very attentive, we look forward to our next visit.
I wouldn't recommend, the food was not worth the price. steaks were horrible.
We enjoy going there as a couple or meeting friends. Food is very good, wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable. One of our favorite restaurants!
Had a wonderful dinner with my mom the other night. We both had filet mignon and it was delicious. Our server was terrific as well. He checked on us several times to make sure we were happy with everything.
We have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and the food is still the same great flavor as always!
We had a wonderful time and a wonderful dinner. The waiter was great. We'll be back.
As always, great food and service. Our go to place for steak and special occasions. I'm our opinion, the best steak around!
Steaks were good. The veggies did not seem fresh.
From the salad to the broccoli.
Always have great service along with great food. I have never been let down
The food was very good as always and the special recommended by the waiter was right on point. My main concerns were more with atmosphere and handling of our bill - there seemed to be some drama going on with the staff when we arrived and we were somewhat ignored, even though there were three women behind the counter when we entered. They were not terribly busy and we had reservations (which were specified for our anniversary when placed). We were seated in a fairly heavy traffic area of the restaurant which wasn't really conducive to a quiet, romantic meal for the occasion, subsequently we ate our meal and took our dessert to go instead of actually unwinding and enjoying each others company. We used a coupon that was directed at getting us there for our anniversary - offering a free Blue Rose of Texas and Homemade Dessert. We presented the coupon when we ordered and when the check came the credit on the bill did not cover the "FREE" items, not a huge difference, but not in line with the advertising (should have been a $19 credit, was only $15 with no disclaimer on the coupon). These are all rather small items, but, when added up they did detract from the evening. We have a lot of options for great places to eat here in St Petersburg attention to detail is what earns our business. We have been going to Talk of the Town/Texas Cattle Company for 30+ years, so we will certainly give them a chance at redemption.
Food and options have improved significantly in the past year, very likely to become regulars again. Staff and Manager Carlos always provide superior service. Would like to see at least 1-2 crab/shrimp options added (miss those crab cakes!)
Service was incredibly fast and very friendly. The steaks were cooked perfectly to order, and very flavorful. You will not leave this restaurant hungry!
I ordered the t-bone and it was very fatty, so much so that I hardly had any meat . It was also undercooked. I ordered medium and it was definitely not cooked to medium. On the flip side my son had the ribeye and he said it was very good. My daughter had the sirloin which she said was good but didn't like the "fries". They were too big and over cooked. We also had the calamari which was pretty good. Fried a little too hard but still had a good taste.
Steak was very good and seasoned well and its worth the rice of each entree because they are generous portions and the specials come with sides. The steaks are "aged" but dont seem like prime cut but overall it was filling. Service was not the best since our serve barely came by and said its because they were "busy" but didn't seem so, might have just been a night where they were understaffed. Ambience is lively and loud so not much of a romantic atmosphere I would say but more of a "roadhouse" type of steakhouse.
I was very impressed by this place. Everything was outstanding. I ordered the porterhouse it was fantastic, the salad is delicious, the cheese rolls, everything. I would highly recommend this place. Their cocktails are delicious. I cannot wait to return. Lastly, our service was great. Jonathan made sure we had everything we needed and they have a great kids menu.
I took my wife for diner on her birthday anniversary. The food and overall atmosphere were outstanding but I do not feel that my cheque was discounted, at all.
Ron Woodsby restaurants' are the best! The food and service are unmatched.
We came to celebrate a birthday but what we received was not worth the money we spent. This place has declined over the years. We will not be returning.
This was a horrible day. Waited for 30 min just for drinks. And couldn’t get refills. Bread was burnt asked for more and was given 4 (there was 4 of us) 30 min later. Took forever for salads and apps. Then the plates were set wrong and a 18 oz for a 28 oz. then promised desert waited at least 30 min again with no drinks then offered 1 desert. I was so embarrassed after bragging about your restaurant. I spent over $200 and was forced to tip 18% to the worst dinner ever. Mgr stopped 1 time and never came back
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. It was a special occasion but the prices were extremely too high for our eating out budget. It was not worth the cost and unfortunately we will not be back. Although the service was exceptional we loved the interior of the restaurant and the food was pretty good.
Very good steak and love the atmosphere! The manager took time to see if we were satisfied which is amazing. Thank you for that. Also, the bread was just outstanding! Definitely worth ordering separately for home.
Our plates and sides were mixed up
The meat was overcooked and dry
At 40 dollars per plate, i am extremely disapointed
We had another great meal last night. We were seated at our reservation time in the area we requested. Our server, Lindsay, was personable, attentive and helped make our evening fun. As always, the food was wonderful. The Cajun fried mushrooms were prepared perfectly and is our favorite appetizer. My wife’s filet mignon was perfectly prepared as requested, medium rare, and was tender and flavorful. My double pork chops were cooked as requested and were excellent. Their baked potatoes are always great! The restaurant manager always comes by our table to ask if everything is to our liking! We love this place for food and service and go there often.
Food good a lot of food
Like there drink Option
Great birthday steak
The service and food is excellent. If something is not right, they will make it right. Good Job.
Interior could stand an update but overall we enjoyed it very much. Hostess was very knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. Will definitely go back again. Thanks.
excellent steak dinner, cooked to order, good baked potato, excellent rolls & salad
Consistency of the food. Always the same tenderness, delicious flavor and good size portions. And don't forget the truffle butter for your steak.
Always enjoy this place, even if it is not a birthday celebration, it has the best steak and salad
We went with are server's suggestion of ordering the special which was a 26 oz boneless ribeye. We originally ordered it medium rare. I then had second thoughts about the medium rare and consulted with our server Jonathan, and we agreed to change it to medium so that in Jonathan's words "the fat would be more rendered." We are so glad we changed it to medium and it was an excellent steak and great value for sharing at $42. We look forward to returning for a another great steak and we will request to have Jonathan as our server again!
Porterhouse was yummy, it didn't need the crab meat or truffle butter it came with. Showcased wines were both delicious (cab and a malbec). Server, Destiny, is great. I learned that I don't like Grand Marnier dessert cake, I'll just not order that again- but it was fine.
