Service was unusually slow and unpersonal. The manager stepped in and tried to resolve the issues as best he could. Always have had great service and the steaks are the best anywhere. One bad night in 30 years isn't bad

We took my brother and his family there is a just moved here from California. The food was excellent, the service top notch and even the show on making the baked potato was just an adventure. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants fine dining and a fun time

Best steak I’ve ever had! Place was super clean, waitress was so attentive and helpful! Manager Stephen asked us twice if everything was good! Even the guy who brought us our appetizer was so nice and attentive. Overall great food experience and highly recommend this place. We are from out of town and this was a great find!

Great food; costly but knew prices before we went.

I had not visited this restaurant in 20 years or more. I left wondering why I had waited so long! The food was delicious and service was excellent. I will be back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. It was well worth the trip from Tampa. Our "butterflied" filet mignon was grilled to perfection, and the baked potato ATW was excellent! Our only regret -- not enough room to enjoy the strawberry cake!

Birthday dinner for our daughter! First time visit for her 5&6 year old and they loved it!!!!! My husband and I celebrate many special occasions with you, quite a special place!

Great steaks and flavor for hubbs, free B'Day dinner, as always. The server was very attentive, the manager stopped by to check on us. Glad they have opened earlier hours since we have to drive a distance to get there. Love the batter-fried mushrooms, we always get that app.

Overcrowded and overpriced for the quality of the food. Gator bites in particular were NOT from the tail meat and super super chewy. Couldn't eat them.

No other restaurant has stricter rules right now because of Covid. It pretty much sucked, it was not even like going to the same restaurant. We couldn’t go in to grab a drink at the bar while we waited on our table that was 20 minutes late and they certainly weren’t going to send out a waitress to get us a drink. Absolutely made me a mask and radio’d for back up when I didn’t want to wear a face covering to walk 15 feet into the restaurant to my table which is ridiculous. No other restaurant is actually enforcing it to that degree. Service was extra slow. The dang bang shrimp has certainly went downhill. You get way more shrimp in the appetizer but it’s not near as good as the last time I ordered it. The only time I ask for some thing and got it in a timely manner was when the actual general manager himself came up and asked me and my wife if we wanted more salad and he was back very quickly but other than that everything was slow. I was there for over two hours just to eat dinner with my wife. I have eaten at to many other restaurants in Lakeland and not dealt with near the crap because of Covid. Lakeland has dropped their mask mandate and so have most restaurants. This is America, stop cramming that crap down our throat. I definitely won’t be back at least not for a long time till things change and I will be telling everyone.

Outside service was a little confusing but Excellent food, excellent service once inside.

Had a great birthday night! Had the birthday steak with broccoli, salad and delicious cheese rolls. Where else can you get a complete steak meal free with another purchased entree. Beautiful location to. Right on a lovely lake in Lakeland. Can’t wait until my next birthday!

If you are looking for a nice quality steak, then Texas Cattle Company is the place. They have updated their menu, which is nice. Just be aware if you order the mushrooms as an appetizer it's enough to feed like eight people.

The steak was delicious and so flavorful as usual. We are always pleased by the fried mushrooms, a treat each visit. Our server, Abbie, was delightful and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I definitely recommend the Texas Cattle Company.

We were traveling and wanted a great steak.
After many dining misses during the holidays, we gave Texas Cattle Company a try.
Our meal, service and experience was a solid 10 and we enjoyed every moment.
They clearly value their customers, take the Covid sanitation and social distancing seriously and deliver an amazing dining experience.
Everett was our waiter and he was a true example of how it’s done.
Next time we are in Florida we will be back!

Service was excellent. Food was good. Felt that it was expensive for the food that we received. The Lobster tail was bland. Ribeye was very good. 2 in our party ordered Filet at the same temperature and one looked perfect when they other was more dry. Dang Bang Shrimp was very good. Caramel cheesecake was also good.

We had a beautiful evening and a wonderful meal. The salmon was light, tasteful and beautifully presented. The chicken breast prepared with a parmesan crust was easily enough for 2 people; more batter than was expected but truly delicious. The ribeye, cooked to a Pittsburgh rare temperature, was excellent. Texas fries were a little disappointing in their jacketed presentation. The salad was dry but additional dressing was provided on request. Follow up service was not the best. Nevertheless, after a second or third reminder there were apologies and, except for getting our printed receipt, everything we asked for was pleasantly delivered.

We always love coming here. The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The area we were in was a bit noisy this time due to one group that was quite loud. We prefer to be in the front area where it is generally more quiet. Overall it was still a nice evening.

Our server was excellent and the food was fantastic! There was social distancing and everything was tidy and clean.

Manager doesn’t care what customers ask for he’s gonna sit you where he wants even though you go try and make your parents night a great one by decorating their table. That manager does not care about his customers at all

Either your servers have too many tables to take care of or are poorly trained. I have a reservation for Feb 14th I may cancel because of my last visit

Best filet mignon ever— grilled to a perfect medium-rare. Excellent cocktails and sides! My husband and I drove an hour to get there— totally worth it. Will go as often as we can!

New Year’s Eve dinner date with my wife. Both of us declared our filet as the best steak we’ve had there

Haven’t visited in 20 years was a birthday party for wife had everything planned with manager even spoke when I arrived about candle on cake and birthday song for a surprise after dinner food was good but rushed us out didn’t ask us for desert or anything about birthday so hopefully just a fluke still good place to eat very pricey for what you get

Outstanding! We've eaten there a few times and had a delicious meal every time. I can't get past ordering the Salmon and hubby loves the Sirloin steak. comes with a delicious salad, cheese rolls and 1 side. We always opt for the baked potato ($2 upcharge) and they dress it table side with your choice of butter, sour cream, chives, cheese and/or bacon. Go on your birthday and you'll get a free steak dinner!!!

We visit 3-4 times a year and always have a great experience. Delicious food, attentive service staff, quality steak for a reasonable price. The bottomless salad is an all time favorite, the rolls are addictive and the strawberry cake is scrumptious with a cup of coffee. Love this place!

Always our choice for a birthday celebration but this time it was for our anniversary. The steaks were melt-in-your-mouth delicious and they even worked on a special order for us. It was very chilly inside and when I mentioned it to the hostess, she immediately went and corrected the problem.

Outstanding service with an outstanding steak! Highly recommended.
