   There was a group dinner that I believe delayed our dinner. The appetizers came promptly. The dinner took over 11/4 hours. The staff was busy with the group dinner. The schnitzel was great. The sauerbraten and venison offerings were not impressive.

   The best things about this place were the appetizers, the bier, and the dessert. It's hard to go wrong here and I would easily recommend this place to try if you're open to something new!

   Always amazing - food, atmosphere, service, and all at such reasonable prices. Outstanding quality and authentic - really authentic - German.

   It was a quiet Tue night so we were only one of 2 tables seated in the large side-room. Maybe that's why the room was cold. Food was very good but menu items unavailable included HB draft, Salmon, and apple strudel...which was disappointing. It was my wife's birthday and I called ahead of time of time when confirming the reservation and asked: 1) Did they know? "Yes, we have a written down per your Open Table rsvp". 2) What do you do for her birthday? "If she orders a dessert, we put a candle in it." I had to laugh. Ultimately she ordered a dessert but there was no candle. There were 7 of us and an automatic 20% tip was added. That's fair although one of our guests thought the menu stated "automatic tip added for party of 8 or more."

   The food was amazing and the service was incredible. I had the pork and sauerkraut and my wife had the roast. The pork was delicious because the skin was crispy, there was a buttery layer of fat, and the meat was tender enough to cut with a spoon. It came with a side of potato salad; while I typically don't like potato salad, this potato salad was the best I ever had. When I ate my left-overs at work, a co-worker came into the room to ask what I was eating because it smelled so good. The roast my wife ordered was flavorful, the vegetables were cooked just right, and the portion size was generous. The kitchen staff was also accommodating when we asked if they were willing to fulfill a special request. We enjoyed our meals so much, we ordered two more items to-go so that we had some more to enjoy at home. Everything combined, this was a fantastic meal. I highly recommend Teske's Germania.

   Joe the accordion player was incredible!!!! Fantastic beer and food at a reasonable price, authentic German atmosphere.

   We had a delicious meal and excellent service. We sat in the front room where the air conditioner was a little intense. There was also a couple larger parties in the back room, which made it a little loud but the Wiener schnitzel and sausage platter were amazing.

    We came to Teske’s Germania for the Schweinshaxe (crispy pork knuckle). From the look on photos on the website and menu, we had high expectation. As it turned out, we were terribly disappointed. I asked for the skin on my pork knuckle to be crispy all around like it’s advertised on the website. I would like it crispy and crunchy like what we had in Germany. Mine came with the skin so smooth and glossy like fine leather. It was so tough to cut through even using a steak knife. Impossible to enjoy a meal I was so looking forward to. Clearly, the chef here does not know how to crisp the skin. He should not attempt or pretend to make Schweinshaxe!
