Teru Sushi Ratings and Reviews
Our favorite restaurant! Food is always excellent and consistent. The service is great. Our waitress, Koko always remembers our drink order and greets us at the table! The owner is there and takes great pride in the quality of the food and service! Sat outside for the first time. It was great.
Excellent meal and good service on a busy Saturday night (in primetime, no less - 7pm). We were a table of 5, which can be chaotic, but the server was very patient. We ordered sushi, for the most part, and the food came out quickly. Almost too quickly. The food was delicious, the fish was fresh, and the atmosphere was lively, but not too loud. Great meal!
Ive been going to Teru Sushi for over 10 years and I love it ! The owner is very friendly and makes you feel like your walking into his home. The staff is great and the food is amazing !
Its a great place for groups and dates. The staff knows what their doing and the service is great. I personaly love the patio atmosphere, it feels cosy and just hearing the chatter and laughter all around makes it a fun place to hang out. If I lived closer I would probably be there everynight hahhaha
After trying sushi all over LA, Teru stands as my favorite. They don't have some of the rolls that I love about LA, and it's not inexpensive. But it is the best and they have a fantastic, unique assortment of rolls. The portions are generally great too. Plus, they have happy hour from 5:30 to 7pm. The only thing I've not enjoyed is the mushroom salad. $15 for a sloppy salad with a few mushrooms thrown on. Not even half as good as anything else I've had there. The brussel sprouts/mushroom app is amazing. And they have gluten free soy sauce too!
We were early on our reservation, and even though they were really busy, seated us right away. Really good service and the food was great. We didn't have much, 3 items total, but we enjoyed everything and left full. The owner is really nice and came over to our table and shared some of their new sake that he was excited about with us, which I thought was really cool of him. We'll be back for sure. :)
