Food took awhile. We were there later in the night and it wasn’t crowded so we couldn’t figure out why it took so long. Food was good, but it’s very expensive.

Wonderful experience, highly recommend Teru Sushi! Excellent and quality sushi, great service, and fantastic atmosphere. I requested to be seated at a particular table and it was taken care of with no issue. I definitely plan on going back!

Good casual date night! Food was excellent. I recommend the scallop roll, and albacore/friend onion thing-y. Great.

The food and location were great. There were a lot of tasty options and I enjoyed the food. The owner/manager was very kind. The ambiance is okay - nothing too fancy. Our waitress just had a little attitude and was fairly slow and didn’t bring out two of our items. However, she does not represent all of the staff or dining experience.

Ate in the patio. Service was excellent. Got our food very quickly. Took advantage of a number of happy hour bargains. Food was excellent. Friendly efficient service. Valet parking was a BIG problem. Took about a half hour to get my car. At least 30-40;cars in lot. Lots of cars coming in. One parking attendant. A wonderful night of dining was spoiled by the inconvenience of waiting for my car. I will go back but I will not valet park again.

I've been going to Teru Sushi for almost 8 years. You're usually greeted by Christine, who is the sweetest! I normally get the sushi lunch combo, which is a lot of sushi, and comes with miso soup. The California roll that is part of the sushi lunch combo with real crab and I've been addicted to it since day one! All the fish is always so fresh, and the presentation is inviting. On the rare occasion I don't have the sushi lunch combo, whatever else I order is always consistently tasty. I've also come here for office b-day parties, and they have a lovely outside area in the back.

Fun, "scene" type place. The food was interesting and adventurous but not the best I've ever had. Good service. Very noisy.

Fish was fresh but the food was clearly left waiting to be taken to the tables for far too long. the rolls arrived all mushy and wilted. Service was really non-existent also. Would not come back too many other great sushi places in the area.

I’m a fairly regular customer. Almost every week. Service has been Blech at best and I make a reservation every week and still end up waiting almost every time 5-15 minutes.

The food was good but the service was very slow. We waited twenty minutes and had to ask for the waitress to order dessert and then they didn’t have it. This is the crepe cake and they haven’t had it for the last six months . If they’re not going to serve it then it should be taken off the menu. Also, when she finally showed up she asked if we’d like more sushi. If we had, it would have been very strange having left us sitting for so long before checking if we’d like anything else. We also had reservations and though there were no people waiting, it was almost 20 minutes before we were seated.

The staff was very professional. It was our first time there and the waiter was very helpful, she suggested a sake which was very good and also she suggested to try the OMG roll which was very delicious. We were seated outside in patio area and was very nice. We would definitely go back. The patio area is much nicer than inside. We tried the lemon roll, 911 and OMG s as nd all three were very good

I've been dining at Teru Sushi for 35 years and always enjoyed there food, service, and ambiance. This last visit was off. The Sushi did not feel fresh and the ambiance in the rear of the restaurant wasn't ideal. I would not be too concerned about the ambiance if the food was good but it was very disappointing. The service was great though. There are many great Sushi options in the valley and I have a few favorite's but I do have a long relationship with Teru so hopefully my next visit will be better. Normally if I have a bad experience I do not return to the restaurant but given my long history with this establishment I will give it another try.

Our waiter with the lip ring was off putting and the Shot glasses for Sake was weird, we asked for a traditional sake. Service and attention is spotty and bus people wait too long to clear dirty dishes off the table. For the price and it’s long reputation these things should get cleaned up by the management.

This place used to have great service but the last two times the staff just is around, forgets things or doesn’t bring something ordered. We ordered 2 saki, they brought one. My soup came cold. They took it to “warm it up” and forgot to bring it back and brought the entre, part of the dinner came wrong. What can I say? With so much competition for this kind of food, they need to pay more attention. One time like this, well, we can all have a bad day but 2 times is too much.

The food was good but the usual portion was cut on the sashimi and it is overpriced. The service was slow and not great. We had a hard time getting our server and yet our bill was $400 for six plus a toddler . There was also no crepe cake or any cake for dessert so we went elsewhere .

People can talk about their favorite sushi place in town, but Teru Sushi is incomparable. Their specialty roll DA BOMB is the bomb. They’ll do a baked crab cut roll if you ask. It’s exception. Their albacore and salmon sushi melt in your mouth. Definitely do a California handroll. Service with a smile and inexpensive easy valet parking.

We’ve been loyal to Teru and never had any complaints until today. Our waiter was extremely distracted and constantly made mistakes with everything we ordered. It took well over 2 hours, with numerous mistakes for our food to come out. Biggest inconvenience. We constantly had to ask alternative waiters to help us.

I used to love Terra sushi hut the last three times I’ve been it has been disappointing. The food is ok and the service is usually not great it’s a shame. It’s the end of an era for me. I am now looking for a new sushi place.

Like anyplace there are good days and "not so" good days. Unfortunately, this time was a fiasco. The teriyaki salmon came cold, it was difficult to get someones attention as they were running around - and this was at 5:30! They got part of the order wrong. And well...what a shame. The salmon dinner is $30 and that's a bit high for an Asian neighbor restaurant, but the portion of the salmon is definitely larger. We will give it another try because the food is good - but being short-handed isn't the customers fault. If they say "your service will be lacking and therefore we will take of 10% (or whatever)" I can at least say, "that's ok, we have time" - but as it was, we were on our way to see a show at the Pantages in Hollywood, and wanted to park and not get caught up in the crowds, so the lag in service here and the cold food, didn't have time to be repaired.

If you want good food but don't have all night for it to be done right, and also have good service, call before and find out if they are short-handed, and if not, I'm sure you will be satisfied here.
