Great evening! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience
We've been coming for a few years now but it's gotten too noisy. Could be our age and gender ...
All wonderful except, the packaging of my left o er half pizza was disgusting. It was wrapped in double, folded in half, and stuffed inside a paper bag. Made me feel like I was take garbage home. In fact that is where it ended up.
Very loud and busy but good was good
This restaurant is a neighbourhood favourite. Casual ambience although it can be very noisy. It appeals to a cross-section of people including young couples, a group of friends and families with young children. The menu is varied (although we always have pizza). The wine is affordable and the service is very good ie: fast and efficient.
excellent as always
Very loud. Food consistently good.
Aside from the excellent food, we had a particularly nice and professional server
The food is decent but variable, up and down. Sometimes it’s excellent, sometimes meh. The service is always meh. It is crazy LOUD so not good for a date or conversation. I live a block away so alas it’s a lazy go-to.
As always good and staff were perfect. We were a table of 7 and booked ahead but we were put in the back room at a huge table that wasn’t great for conversation :(
I've always had a wonderful meal and tonight did not disappoint.
Amazing food and amazing service
Very fun, lively atmosphere and good service. In my opinion, not the best place to get a good traditional Italian dish, like a good plate of pasta. The pizza is good and they have some really great specials.
Solid performer, always good and great service.
As always everything was excellent. Will go again soon!!
Everything was great except it felt very rushed. Five minutes after ordering, the entres came out. Didn't have a chance to have the bread, and drinks arrived only after having to ask if they were coming.
Great service - our server was spot on with her suggestions of food and wine and was clearly a professional who knew her stuff! Ambiance was fabulous and food was delicious!
Not impressed. I'm not a man of many words so I will keep it short. The sommelier was rude and condescending. Tried to tell us what to buy rather than catering to our pallet. Didn't ask us what we were eating so not sure he was interested in pairing a wine with our food. Felt like he was trying to unload old stock on us. The food was good, but the portions were terribly small. When I say small, I mean smallllll. Our server was pleasant but not the most observant or pro active. When I buy a bottle of wine, it would be nice for our server to notice our glasses getting low and top us up. Would also be nice not having to wait 20 minutes for a desert menu and then another 20 mins to take my dessert order. I'm not a dessert person usually but needless to say, I was not satisfied with the extremely small dinner portion. I then had to flag her down for my bill. I really wanted a coffee but it was getting extremely late and I didn't want to wait another 20 mins for that. Needless to say, I will not be going back here anytime soon. By soon, I mean never.
It was a friends get together!! We had a great time our waiters Alex and Ezra were amazing. The food is always great never had a bad meal. We come to Terroni every time we are in Toronto.
Too loud to carry a conversation - had to yell just to hear each other
Stellar first experience at Terroni at Yonge & Price. Excellent staff, delicious food, and timely service all made for a wonderful celebratory dinner with my daughter. Thank you Terroni. We'll be back soon.
Passionate waiter. Wine recommendations disappointing. Still overall a good experience
They brought all the food out in less than 10 minutes. It was very rushed and not an ideal dining experience. It's not the first time it's happened here either.
This restaurant isn’t not about he customer...it’s about the restaurant dictating how you ought to eat. It’s their trademark. You are eating Italian so, go somewhere else if you want, for example, a proper gin martini before your pasta. They simply have no idea how to do this. Let’s say you want gluten free bread....forgeddabouit.
This is my always go to place. Due to some food allergies, it would be nice to request some ingredients be left out but there is an arrogant 'no way' policy that smacks of bad service. I understand the chef 'thinks' he knows best but personally I know what I can and cannot eat, namely garlic - Terroni is not near a Michelin rated restaurant where garlic isn't relied on so for creative gastronomic perfection. Thankful for my other Italian spots in town that are more sympathetic, compassionate and cusromerservice focused.
Generally I'd give any of the Terroni locations four and half overall, but on this occasion, there was a screaming child that went on intermittently for an hour to point that other diners were complaining amongst themselves. I'm all for kid friendly places, but this was just too much. That combined with an efficient but rather surly server (when Terroni opened on Queen West thirty years ago, they had nothing but surly servers :)), made for a not great experience.
Birthday for my sister- so yummy and our server was top notch!
great service as always
Although I found my meal to be relatively tasty, the amount of seafood in my Soaghetti in Canna a Mare was absolutely RIDICULOUS...ONE shrimp, TWO tiny scallops, FOUR small squid rings, ONE clam, ONE mussel....REALLY???
I won't be returning. I hate the feeling of being ripped off.
Very tasty lunch offerings and a pleasant, warm environment for a business lunch. Restaurant was not too busy at noon on this weekday and so the atmosphere was conducive to conversation, with cheerful service. I’m sure it gets louder as the place fills up for the dinner hour. Would return.
Great family friendly restaurant if you go for the 5 PM time slot! Awesome for date nights if you go later. Can’t go wrong with this gem.
Great food , we went for our anniversary - just wish we weren’t seated next to a family with children running around as it affected the atmosphere
We frequent this restaurant regularly and were disappointed especially by the service. We had a waiter with attitude. He didn't offer us any bread or tell us the specials of the eveing and when I asked for their hot oil he didn't even acknowledge the request. We had to call upon the runner to order more drinks. It was my daughter's birthday and the restaurant knew it. The event was nothing special. No candle, no happy birthday...NOTHING! Meanwhile, another waiter was singing happy birthday with their table. It was truly disappointing and we've been going since it opened. We won't be going back anytime soon...at least not to that location.
I've been to other Terroni locations and decided to try this one: it didn't disappoint... we had a great lunch! Thank you.
The Rosedale crowd bring their young kids en masse and staff doesn't seat them away front the adults without the small ones. Chuckie Cheese might be a better place for noisy restless children. Pay a lot for the meal to be drowned out by fork banging kids.
Food is good, pizza thin and crispy. The restaurant tries to come across as upscale true Italian, only Italian wines served. Prices reflect the effort at higher end. Soup, pizza and lowest priced wine plus tip ran around $75 bucks.
As always, dinner was excellent. Food was delicious, staff were great and lots of opportunity for comfortable conversation with friends.
Great service however I do find it loud at this restaurant which makes conversation difficult.
Consistently good food. Never miss enjoying our favourite Toronto salad....the Funghi Assoluti. Always better in the shoulder times of day regarding noise levels which can be extreme during busiest times. Courteous and professional service.
Good experience, recommended. Always go back. Liked all locations I tried.
