Terroni never fails to impress. All around a wonderful experience
Depending on where you sit, make sure your cell phone has a "flashlight" feature so that you can read the menu as it is a bit dark in certain spots.
Spinach lasagna was excellent and a healthy portion is served.
Always great food! Pastas were amazing. Solid Italian food.
Our favorite place to eat! Love all the pasta dishes! Graham at the bar is wonderful and always recognizes us and gives us a genuine warm greeting! Staff at the door are wonderful too!
Great Restaurant with a good vibe! I would certainly recommend it to any age group if you can handle the buzz and noise that comes with it :-) My Gnocchi dish was a rather small portion and could use more flavour, Gnocchi's were fluffy though. Pizza was tasty with the right amount of toppings.
First time visiting Terroni. Absolutely amazing would go back again and recommend to my friends.
I have been coming to the queen street location for many years and the food is always great. We had pizza and pasta and both were executed perfectly.
The restaurant is a little tight when it comes to spacing of tables which would be my only negative comment.
It was great - as expected. My friends from Vancouver really enjoyed it. Our waiter was fabulous and added to the fun. Thank you,
It was so noisy where we set that we couldn’t hear each other
Service was excellent, food was great. Wine prices were higher than we are used to, not from Toronto.
Our server was Amazing! He actually took some time to think about which kind of wine would go best with the dish that I ordered and returned with his reccommendation shortly after. I really appreciated his pensiveness, ( that's a word, yeah?) The food was a Dream. We all are picky eaters and were completely satisfied with our food and drinks. The Bombolone was to die for. Asked for one on a whim, (I am obsessed with Sud Forno), and was beyond stoked to receive two warm, deep-fried-feeling treats. Everything was just exceptional!
Sever was the most depressing person on the planet. We had to beg to order drinks with our mediocre pasta. He was not good for business. Came to check on us once and finally we ordered drinks you think the server would suggest drinks of the day or the best wine to go with or meal. But nothing . He basically just fetched the food we ordered. Food I could of easily made at home
I was very surprised that they refused to give me Parmesan for my spaghetti with seafood. The chef will not allow people to put Parmesan on the dish. They go so far as putting it in the menu then the server warns you as well. I also requested a birthday cake which they forgot to tell the server.
The two dishes my friends had were very chewy. There are plenty of wonderful Italian restaurants in Toronto. I’ll go there to be allowed to have cheese on my pasta.
Did not have diet soft drinks and no Clamato juice to make Cesar’s
The tables are small and uncomfortable, the server did not introduce himself or told us his name, i repeated my drink order three times and reminded him and still did not receive it. After about 40 mins of waiting and half way through my cold pasta i called him over and asked him again and he told me he forgot, i then asked him if he could get my pasta heated up , which he did. He then went to the bar, poured some bourbon on ice and bring it to my as a "Manhattan". I did not drink any of it but was still charged. When our meal was almost done, we noticed everyone was eating complimentary bread and asked if we were supposed to get that, he then said yes and brought us out some.
This is the first time i am ever providing any feedback at all. I am not really looking for anything as i do understand completely what a busy Friday night looks like in one of the busiest restaurants downtown, however, i was just disappointed with the level of service and the lack of knowledge the server had.
It was my wife's birthday as well so we left and went to Cafe Crepes for dessert.
Terroni is great for a casual dinner catch-up with friends. The service is always great and the food is reliably good.
Table was ready, server was great getting a birthday celebration set up, food was amazing, great experience!
Don’t bother going without a reservation. This place is really busy but the ambiance is great and the service is excellent.
Great! Not much else I can say.
I always wanted to try this restaurant - finally got the chance. The staff and service is great. Good people. The restaurant seems to be very tight, almost feels like you're in another tables personal space. I understand every table is worth money but if you can hear private conversations, its a bit of an issue. Food presentation is great, but taste was a bit on the bland side for me. Wine listings/pairings are great. Overall good experience however, the food + ambiance needs a bit of a change.
Usually I go to the Price St. Location but I think the service and quality of food at this one was better
Everyone's food was delicious, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will be back!
I have been a few times and tried their pasta dishes, each and everyone was very good!
Excellent food and great service. The ambiance was great and was as expected. The price is also very reasonable. Highly recommend!
The restaurant has been there for a very long time and is very popular and often busy. The service is efficient and friendly the food is very good. We just found some items overpriced. The soup $13.00 and half a litre of very ordinary plain red wine $40. The tables are very close together. You can easily follow the conversation next to you . As soon as the restaurant fills up the noise level becomes unpleasant.
Too bad as we really enjoyed our pizza and pasta dish. We will probably not go back.
Sadly this spot is just okay these days. All the staff that we interacted with seemed begrudging despite our server who was very nice. And the pasta, one Wednesday special and one tomato and zucchini rigatoni, was underwhelming for what it costs. All in all just a subpar experience that I so wanted to be better as years ago, it was one of my favourite restaurants in the city.
Excellent customer service. Staff are kind, courteous, responsive to diner’s needs. Food was delicious and flavourful.
I've been going for many years, and the experience is always the same... perfect. I love the food, the location, the ambiance and the service.
It was just okay
Food was amazing! Loved everything.
Only thing I would have a negative is the poor ppl seated right in the door way.
Amazing service. I’ve been to the Adelaide and queen street location and both have provided great quality service and community like ambiance. It was a pleasure.
Service was timely. Odd that we were given a specific time frame that we were allowed to stay (reservation was from 6:15-8:15), but understandable since we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Food came very quickly and was delicious. Gluten free pasta was so good my friend was worried they had made a mistake !
Had the spaghetti in canna a mare which was wonderful HOWEVER!!! Just one shrimp three would seem to be more value will be back reservation a must full house for a 4pm sitting
We had a great evening of delicious food and very attentive but not overwhelming service. Very enjoyable night.
Great casual Italian restaurant that offers high-end quality food for a reasonable price.
I’ve eaten here many times and it’s always consistent. Our service was excellent, attentive and we didn’t feel rushed- making for a nice evening catching up with an old friend
Nice dining experience however it was very noisy. No deviating from the menu whatsoever which is clearly indicated on the menu. I couldn’t even get a bit of garlic added to our pizza which was delicious. Good fresh ingredients- portions not overly generous but ample. Would go back.
We were staying in Toronto for one night at Le Germaine. We went for a drink at Roxy and the bartender recommended Terroni as it was within walking distance. We did arrive earlier than our reservation and may not have checked in properly. However, we were seated right away. The antipasto and both pastas that my friend and I ordered were amazing. We will definitely be back.
As always, best Italian food in the city. The Norcina is my favourite
