The food was delicious. Service was fast and the waiter very courteous. One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto.
We have been to Terroni many times but this was our first on the third floor. Unfortunately, the level of service and attention was quite different from the main floor.
This is my 5th time at Terroni Adelaide and it's one of my favourite Italian Toronto restaurants for occasions, casual dining, dates, and birthdays! I've celebrated all of those at Terroni over the past 2-3 years, and I haven't been let down yet. If you're looking for a date spot with great wines and fresh pasta for a reasonable price, this is your spot. ALWAYS make a reservation in advance, otherwise you'll be waiting 1-2 hours minimum on a busy night. It's always packed.
A++ recommended dishes that I eat every time I go and tried multiple times and loved them each time:
Appetizers - Burrata with basil, tomatoes, and crostini, calamari grilled or fried, and octopus.
Pastas - Spaghetti in Canna a Mare, Tortelloni di Ricotta, Ravioli di Zucca. Dessert - Tiramisu and the Nutella croissant!
Summary: Go here for great Italian pasta, apps, and dessert. Bring a date, your parents, a friend, a group of friends, it suits all kinds of groups. Reasonably priced. You can dress up or be casual, on a weekend, or after work. Maybe not suitable for kids. Try it out and enjoy!
The waiter was nice but when he would tend to other tables he would not be cautious of our table and he would have his behind all in our faces and food while speaking to other tables. By the time my food arrived to the table, it was cold. Food was also flavourless. Pizza was decent. Price was fine and fair, overly bad experience.
Crowded.tables very tight together.
Food is always good, but the service was terrible.
Teroni never disappoint! Great food, amazing service, delicious food!
I went with my 16yr old nephew for pizza and would re-think this restaurant. Not many traditional dishes. It was very loud and we could barely hear each other talk. Service was excellent and server very accommodative. I would go back but not with a teenager
Love this restaurant! Can't go wrong if you like Italian food.
The food was delicious, however, my friend and I were only at the table for 30 minutes!! We went there to catch up over a meal and we felt rushed by the waitress. We were seated up stairs squished between 2 other tables and we kept bumping into each other. The ambiance was nice but there is some room for improvement regarding the service.
Business client dinner. Great wine list.
Amazing service - I had requested space for a stroller and they gave me the option to lock it up or to have it kept at the table with us. Most restaurants do not allow for strollers to be on the floor and provide no other option to lock it up either. One of my guests preferred to have the stroller at the table because it carried all of her baby needs. I am very pleased with Terroni for allowing it.
Amazing food and service. Best pizza and pasta by far. You can taste the freshness in all their food. Definitely would go back again.
The bread was not served fresh, cold
Great Ambiance,Good food at a very reasonable price.Great service. It was a lovely experience to dine in here with my family.
The food is exceptional and the space is beautiful. The only thing is that when they get busy they limit your seating time, which takes away from the experience a little bit in my opinion. It's hard to feel entirely relaxed when you know you're going to be asked to leave at a certain time.
Great food but very noisy and we had to wait 20 min for our table
One of my favourite places for Italian! We ordered lots of apps to share - they were delicious!
Good food and service but very noisy with children and adults. This isn't the place for a quiet, romantic dinner.
I was lucky enough to be on a date with an incredibly beautiful woman for starters. Was a convienient spot for great food and amazing conversation. The turn over is quick, and in my mind there is no reason to sit on a glass of wine for an hour and prolong the reason you are there. If thats what you're looking for go else where. I have been before and knew what to expect, she on the otherhand had not been prior. The servers were chill, atmosphere the same. Higher end quality food that doesn't break the wallet and is usually very enjoyable. The only negative was how close you sit the other tables.
Excellent good and service. Overall great dining experience.
Restaurant so over crowded...sitting beside people was way toooo close. Those long booth seats with two people all inches away makes for a very un-private conversation..way to too squishy...way too squishy!
Excellent italien restaurant, good price. The price of vine is ok.
The food was great as always. The server seeemed over worked and we had to flag her down on several occasions. And the dining room was freezing cold. Several of our party had to leave their coats on through out dinner. The food and wine were excellent though the wine pour seemed meagre.
Amazing food!!! Waiter was so nice - after we finished our meal and paid we got caught up in conversation and were clearly loitering. Instead of coming to tell us we had to clear out because another reservation was coming in, he bought us a drink and moved us to the bar area. That is a great way to handle it!!!
All 5 in my group had amazing dishes. Loved it!
First time there and the Food and service were fantastic!! Would definitely recommend and return.
Good quality and value for a casual meal.
Everything was enjoyable minus the waiter. Wasn’t that attentive, quite the dismissive one. She told me to wait when I kindly reminded her about my drink order that she forgot..and seemed a little racially selective...coincidentally a change of attitude towards me and my date after we decided to order ourselves a bottle of a more pricey wine to make up for her lack of hospitality.
Minus her, Terroni is fabulous as always. Food is spot on, ordered their infamous calamari as per usual. Never disappoints. I’ll be back, I won’t let your sour waiter rain on my Terroni parade! 😋
Wildly overrated but centrally situated large 'Italian ' place. Unspeakably loud and horrid music wrecked my evening. Shocking markup on even undistinguished wines so we didn’t. Food also overpriced. Our racks of lamb must have originated in the world's tiniest lamb. Sitting on a slush of mash and indeterminate veg with a few tasteless sprigs of asparagus. Oh dear! Why is this place popular? What did we miss?
The waitress was amazing! Service and food were top notch!
Beautiful resturant ! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so fun ! Will definalty return back
Unfortunately we waited 45 minutes for our “reserved” but not really reserved booth. Staff had “forgotten no”
To advise previous party there was a rezzie. Very poor service level at fri t desk. Solving problems seems Beto f heir capacity, wait staff however was very good, we have been going to this establishment for over 20 years - tonight was a low point. Not sure we will ever return
Lovely experience! Service, food, atmosphere was great - only wish the food didn’t come out so fast, I would have loved to enjoyed the delicious drink a little longer. Other than that it was very enjoyable.
They made us wait an hour to seat us after the reservation time, the concierge girls were extremely rude and the service overall was not great. I will not be going back to this location again.
I MOVED FROM VENICE, ITALY, TO CANADA. EAT A REAL ITALIAN PIZZA IN NORTH AMERICA IS A CHALLENGE... BUT I CAN ASSURE THAT AT TERRONI'S RESTAURANT THE PIZZA IS LIKE THE ONES YOU CAN EAT IN THE SWEET BOOTH OR EVEN BETTER !
The cavatelli was just okay, there wasn’t a lot of seasoning and the meat was just ok
The pizza was terrific and the branzino was outstanding
Had a great (Friday) night at Terroni Adelaide. Our server was really great, she knew when to be there and when to let us eat. Food was very good, and the desserts were the best finish. The Butterscotch caramel pudding is to die for.
Great pizza! Will come back again.
We felt rushed during our whole experience in the restaurant, and the restaurant was empty when we got there. We had our apps and main dishes within 15 minutes of us sitting down- literally. If you are in a rush great- but we were not. The waiter seemed annoyed when we would say can we have a few more minutes. The dessert menu was brought to us while we were still eating our mains. If we went at his pace we would have been done within 30 min. Also, he would not agree to take an ingredient off a pizza or add an ingredient to a pizza- even though I come here often and have always been able to request this with no issue. I'm debating if I want to return to this location because of this service.
