Join us for an after work drink every Wednesday from 5pm-7pm for Terronitivo…. the Italian happy hour - live music & special complimentary snacks!
I was sad after finding out that they took off one of my favourite dishes, the Purpietello. It was my first time visiting the Adelaide location. The experience wasn't as amazing as my times at the Yonge at Price location but it's been years since I returned to Terroni so it could just be the nostalgia. The food was still great but somehow not as mindblowing as I remembered it. But it still has some of the better Italian food in Toronto so I will very likely return!
A little pricey for the quality and very noisy ,could be a little cleaner also
Requested for a quiet table and ended up being seated downstairs wit three large very noisy parties - we ended up skipping dessert and left early as we were straining our ears and vocal cords to communicate
Assembly line service and dining room environment. Entrance and bar had a weird odour. Hard to hear server who just rushed us anyway. Food was good. My friend’s vegan pasta was simply a bowl of plain penne dripping in oil with dried parsley on top for about $18. Lol. Good one, Terroni. I wouldn’t go back to this location.
Got a table on the top floor which turns out to be more of a lounge area for drinking. Table and chairs were awkwardly low. Not suitable for dining at all. Server was really terrible as well. Food was good though.
Great spot and great value with very good service and food. definitely will return.
It was a poor performance overall. Our reservation got mixed up, our waiter was good when we saw him and our meal took over an hour. We had to leave with it in a doggy bag so we could make our show. Been here several times, so I know (hope) they can do better. We got a mere apology for having to eat our food out doggy bags on the steeet car.
We had a great meal and hope to go there again soon
To reserve online was very easy.
The service and food was excellent. The Waitress was very pleasant. She gave us additional information on the menu. Highly recommended.
Amazing building. Food was good. My wife’s gnocchi was cold but immediately replaced with a new, hot serving.
The second floor has amazing high ceilings that was special. The desserts were excellent, particularly the Affogato and Profiteroles.
Group of 4
Server was not great
He got one of our meals wrong - took until we were all finished eating to bring my dads correct order
Place was NOT BUSY
All the appetizers and entrees came out all at once, the pizza wasn’t sliced. The meatballs were terrific. The matriacciana was ok,tough calamari and more shell than mussel.
I was expecting more simply because I’ve been dazzled by previous Terroni visits.
PS the beer list lacks excitement.
Very loud! I order the truffle pasta, not a truffle to be seen. I was also finished with my meal before my second glass of wine arrives.
The deep fried Calamari was good. My kids enjoyed the seafood pasta (spag) - good amount of seafood. My wife enjoyed the grilled calamari on greens... I ordered the marinara pizze which I felt was a little light on the toppings (see below) but too heavy on the sauce (and the crust too thin for that much sauce) ... as a result crust was soggy near the middle and the pizze looked too large - adding to my perception of few toppings...
The place is really nice. Service and food could be better.
The pasta that I order is supposed to be their famous pasta but there was barely any truffle and it was really simple. Good but not something I would order again. The carpaccio was REALLY good.
I would go back because of the amazing location but would definitely order something else.
Server was incredibly rude. When we asked her which wine would be more sweeter she said "that's a weird question.. none of our wines are sweet". When asked which wines she considered to be a little more on the bitter side she replied with "no wine is ever bitter". My table is very familiar with wines and we were just looking for some recommendations and she was absolutely arrogant. She sent over another chap who was very kind and knowledgeable about his wines and gave a wonderful recommendation. We were so dissatisfied with her rude service we requested to move tables.
Excellent prompt service and wonderful meal. Pasta is made fresh and desserts were excellent.
Birthday and pre-theatre dinner.
Loved the food and environment! Was seated quickly and had a great time!
Always come here for special occasions, and always leave satisfied. This place never disappoints!
Excellent atmosphere, great food in a beautiful building !!!
I love terroni. But this timenwas awful. First gnocchi plate was really bad. Had to return them and second was good.
Waitress was absolutely awful. Not nice, rude.. asked for hot peppers never got them. Asked for a new fork .. never got them. Wanted to pay..waitress came left the CC machine and left for 5 mins.. machine was offline. Took another machine..left for 5 mins.. machine offline too. Finally paid and she did not even said thank you. Rude really bad. Profiteroles and my bolognese were good. Never coming back to this location.
We had a great time. Food was great, service- very attentive.
I had made a reservation in advance hoping for a nice romantic meal with my husband. Totally not what I expected. We were sat at a crowded noisy table. I had asked for Balsamic vinegar for my carpaccio and was told that they do not change their menu (recipes) so "no" to the balsamic vinegar. The guest next to me asked that they leave off the arugula on her carpaccio and they did! I guess you can change the recipe if you omit but not add! Sorry not my idea of fine dining although the prices suggest that this is.
Came here for a birthday dinner. Server took 45 minutes to even take a drink order from us. Seemed like they didn't even try because they knew we would be auto grated. Food was good. If you like nice cheese boards. Don't order it here.
I put birthday on the reservation and then they brought out a dessert without me asking. Very nice surprise. :)
The fastest service I’ve ever had, apps came right away and our mains perfectly timed afterwards. Everything was delicious - this is the most genuine Italian cuisine I’ve had (outside of italy). Wonderful experience, we will be back
Ordered a bottle of wine. Half our later we left. No wine. Just excuses saying that they were too busy.
Was disappointed, server didn’t come over to check on the food until we were done
Excellent food! Just loved the inside of the restaurant, beautiful building! Will definitely return!
Service was ok ... had to ask a couple times for bread plates and cutlery.
I love Terroni’s food, I go there every year while attending to the mining show
Not the first time here. Love coming back. Server was great and food is always amazing.
Food was decent.
Wasn't a fan of the calamari which came with no marinara sauce so it was pretty dry.
House wine was decent but it's unfiltered so had a lot of residue at the end.
Service was ok considering they were fairly busy.
There was an odd mix up in which both myself and my date were seated separately within 10 minutes of arriving. Both under the one reservation I had made. There was a small apology however the service was quite slow especially after having waited almost 30 minutes in different parts of the restaurant for the other person so it affected our experience of the place. We did enjoy the food however so are willing to give Terroni another go (perhaps at another location)
Amazing ambiance, great good little pricey but worth it
Had a great dinner. The building is amazing, service was great, food is consistently very good. Expected the bill to be higher, which is also awesome!
Awful service and when requested Parmesan cheese for the pizza and my pasta dish, they refused lol actually comical that this place even has a following .
