Food was ok, service was a little slow. Ok atmosphere
Good atmosphere. Some security around. Big place. Would recommend.
Great Italian cuisine in a beautiful historic building.
This continues to be my favourite downtown restaurant. Service and quality are second to none. Staff are friendly and the food exceptional.
Oh my... our expectations where for a simple and delicious italian meal.
We ordered the calamari and chef special pasta (it was a pasta with clams).
The fried calamari was good. The pasta was absolutely horrible. Worse than a school lunch meal!
It looked as though they had just given us someone’s left overs. The food was cold and the clams still had sand or remnants of tiny rocks in them. It was also flavourless. If that was the chefs special- I would not go back to try a non- special !
Our server was great, we didn’t send it back because at that point we just wanted to leave, but he did take it off the bill which was extremely gracious.
Still won’t be back. Disappointed.
Will not be returning. Booked Terroni before a play, and have dined here before and had a decent experience. Our waitress unfortunately was not very helpful in suggestions when we were asking what type of dishes she would recommend. Additionally, we also asked if they could put less sauce on the pizza for us, and she said this could not be accommodated because the pizza would burn. As someone who makes pizza in wood fire ovens, this is not true. Although she asked them to accommodate the order, we were then greeted with the totally wrong pizza than what was ordered. From there, they had to remake the pizza which means the other pizzas were cold. And... of course it came with tons of tomato sauce.
And to top this all off... we went during the Corona virus scare and saw staff wipe down the table with a cloth and put it back into the apron. Not very sanitary.
Good food, price reasonable. I was by myself so as usually they rushed my order and brought my main before my appetizer. Rookie mistake.
Absolutely lovely as always! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing.
Service was slow. Food was basic and lacking flavour.
The food is very mediocre. Nothing special, half of the items on the menu were unavailable. Desserts are so-so. Would not be back
Amongst the best value I’ve found in Ontario, two of us just shared a salad and pizza, Nizzarda and C’t Mang, both excellent, attentive server. We were seated in the upper floor where it was fairly crowded which made it noisy and even more stifling hot then what would be due to Torontonian’s penchant for cranking up the heat to ridiculous levels in bars, shops and entrance ways.
Loud. Very fast pizza excellent
Date night with the mrs.
the dinner was amazing as was our server, the only thing we didn't like or appreciate is that we were moved from a 4 table to a 2 table and felt very squished ...
Came here to celebrate my grandmother's birthday with a group of 8. Was very specific with the instructions that we should be seated on the first floor and away from the door to limit noise/cold air. The restaurant followed these instructions perfectly and we were given a small room in the back. It was a great experience, the food was good as always. I would recommend!!
Great food, service, venue, and company. Table was a little small for the 4 of us.
Fabulous. Food and service were amazing, great wine suggestion for our meal and fantastic ambiance. Not too loud, quick service, decorated nicely...
Amazing food and service. ONE OF MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANTS!
Too loud for a business lunch and seated too closely to other tables.
It's a great go-to place thy we frequent after work. Awesome service!
I've always enjoyed dining at Terroni with friends. Depending on which level you are seated, the atmosphere varies quite a bit. Upstairs is moodier + more intimate. Ground level is generally more open space (high ceilings) and quite lively. Pasta has always been amazing. My favourite Italian place in Toronto.
Bland food.
Supper noisy.
Server’s were not available for even peoper.
Terroni Adelaïde has become one of my favourite restaurants in town. I have gone twice, and it was a wonderful dining experience both times.
Birthday and our service was awesome!!
Waitress was patient and excellent. Thank you! Great wine list as well!
Service was very poor last Sunday evening! Worst ever service at Terroni’s. And, I have previously eaten at and very much enjoyed eating at Terroni’s for both business and family outings many times in the last few years! My office is right around the corner on Toronto Street. Disappointed to say the least!
Love the pasta and they have a delicious tirimisu !
Delicious with multiple gluten free options and knowledgeable servers. Thank you!
Great food and service as usual! We did have to wait 30 minutes for our table after making a reservation which was disappointing.
We were a group of 10 people who made reservations in advance. We reached promptly, but our table wasn't ready until 45 minutes after our reserved time. The staff was kind about it and gave us all a glass of prosecco. The serving staff were great. The food was delicious, minus two of our pasta dishes were uncooked. Overall had a nice time and the ambiance was great.
My go to Italian spot in the city.
Food is always consistent and traditional.
Terrible terrible service!!!!!!!
Our party of three was initially seated at the table designed for two. The group beside us told us they were originally seated there as well until they complained. Thankfully our waiter was able to relocate us after we brought it up to him. Food was a bit disappointing. Usually much better at Terroni. Our pasta dishes were about 90% sausage and 10% noodles.
Amazing food and service - never disappoints
Everything was okay but not as great as it used to be. Terroni Adelaide has a much more chaotic vibe than Queen location (where our family has been going for 20 years). Service was okay but rushed and impersonal. Our waitress and bar could not bring themselves to make my 85 year old Mother a Beer Shandy, even though they hand the two lonely ingredients for it. So no flexibility or sorry here. Pizza crust lacked yeast and salt so was dead. Tiramisu was all cream on a dry biscuit ( no espresso or anything)...or cocoa on top, its like they ran out of ingredients. Salads and other pasta dishes were good and I would still recommend Terroni because I think it is one of the better Italian restaurants in the city, however go to the Queen location.
Great food and service in a relaxed atmosphere. Tables a little close together so not the place to go for a quiet conversation over dinner and a glass of wine.
First time here and it was amazing! Cool atmosphere, awesome staff and AMAZING food. Will definitely return!!
Food at Terroni is always very good. Really always tasty. in general the vibe is we’re too cool for school and we really don’t care if you’re here or not. I guess it works for them but it’s really noticeable.
Been to Terroni a few times but was the first time at the Adelaide E location. The food was a bit mediocre to be honest - I'm well aware of how delicious and fresh it usually is at the other locations but our food was a bit bland, luke warm.
The building is beautiful, the tables nicely set up - I really like the large squared group tables.
Service was a bit average - our server was friendly and attentive in the beginning but service declined throughout the night. She brought out apps and entrees at the same time, did not check-in once the food had been landed, did no offer any Parmesan or fresh pepper (we had to get up and go to the server stand to request these items).
Willing to give it another go since I really like all the other Terronis. This location didn't cut it for me this time but am hoping it will be better the next time.
Love the food...been only once before and it was so memorable we had to go again!
My ONLY serious concern is this is not a quiet cozy place. I booked in advance for a special occasion...table for 2...we sat across from the KITCHEN and a huge party of 10...the table is like grade school desk size!
