Terrasse Nelligan

Love this place. Staff is friendly and professional. Clean. Good ambience. Great music. Drinks are good here, worth the price. Food is fresh and tasty. Beautiful terrace and scenery. Went twice in a weekend because had such a wonderful experience. Good place to feel like you are on vacation.

We had a very good waiter called Nicolas. He was very amicable and service oriented. The views and weather were spectacular. Our meal was nice.

The ambiance on the Terrace was perfect. Beautiful warm sunny day and the tables were well distanced with a view on the port. We asked for the menu, and were told that taking a photo of the sticker on our table provides the menu on our phones. This is really inconvenient. The sun shines directly on your screen, the print is small and you have to keep scrolling. Not a good experience. The food arrived promptly and was very good. The bill arrived and for lunch it was a very reasonable $32 with tax. I gave the waitress a $50 bill. She asked me if I wanted any change. What? In spite of the menu and being hustled by the waitress I still recommend this restaurant. Just use your credit card.

Great and very overwhelming staff! Food was amazing, I wasn't fan of the salad on my brunch but no big deal. There was missing a bit of music on the new section. Quality/price was beyond great.

J’ai toujours une bonne expérience lorsque que je visite ce restaurant. Mon seul point négatif est l’aspect Covid. Le gouvernement dit qu’une visière ne remplace pas un masque et plusieurs employés n’avaient pas de masque sous leur visière. Cela m’a déranger lors du service. Sinon la nourriture les drinks et le service de ma serveuse était parfait.

The view and the decor is amazing. The sangria is sooo good, I mostly go for that. The food is just ok, all 4 of us agreed on that after trying the lots of item on the menu. Great spot for a drink on the terrasse.

A superb place to enjoy the view of the St Lawrence river and Old Montréal. It was my husband’s birthday and he really enjoyed the food and drinks. Staff was very friendly and smiling. Even had a free dessert for the birthday.
Good on a nice sunny afternoon or a night to enjoy lights from the city.

Went there twice during our visit to Montreal . Nice roof top patio . Good food and great service .

It took a while for us to receive our cocktail, in fact I received my starter before having a drink in hand. The food was okay- I had a quiche starter, that was good because I was famished- however there was no wow! factor here.
My main dish, the energy bowl had delicious ingredients and at first I was impressed. Unfortunately there was a pool of oil hidden in the bottom of my dish. Once I tossed the ingredients everything was too oily to enjoy. This actually changed my initial “yum” to a yuck. Unfortunately.

The setting itself is nice, we sat on the sunny terrasse which was a big reason for the outing. Sipping champagne following our meal was delightful. Our waiter was prompt with the bottle service.

Overall it was good, I was in good company.

En ce qui a trait au respect des mesures sanitaires, tout était parfait, à l’exception de notre serveur qui semblait ne pas respecter la distanciation en s’approchant très près de nous physiquement pour nous servir et desservir. De plus, malgré le peu de personnes dans le restaurant, nous avons attendu au moins 15 minutes pour qu’on prenne notre commande et il fallait lui faire signe pour tout. Peut-être la chaleur de cette journée ou un peut trop de cannabis avant son quart de teavail..! Enfin, le Daiquiri pourrait être amélioré et augmenté en quantité.

We went on a Sunday at 12pm. Beside the 30 degree whether it was beautiful! The food was great despite eat the heat and the energy was good despite the pandemic. The servers were very nice and accommodating.

I like it, I will recommend it to a friend. It’s a good spot to take a drink and talk.

My sister and I resumed our monthly brunches. We decided to reserve a terrace. At hotel Nelligan in old port, on the 5th floor, the beautiful terrace welcomes you with open arms. The staff are friendly, amiable and super hygienic. I started my brunch with a grapefruit mimosa; it was lovely and soothing. Then, we started with mushroom quiche and pastries as appetizers. The quiche was delicious, flavorful and it had a stunning presentation with apple coleslaw on the side. The pastries were unremarkable. The main dishes were a letdown. It had a sloppy presentation. The salmon Benedict was so bland. The energy bowl (chickpeas, eggs, chickens, green beans, walnuts, corn, bok choy, and avocado...) was soaking in a pond of oil. Both main dishes were not finished. The prices were little bit high for the quality of food. In overall, the best part of this terrace was the service.

Beautiful patio for an anniversary lunch. Great views of Montreal and lots of fresh air. Well spaced tables for covid.

Calamari Tender juste à point, recommend. Octopus in ink, delicious and lobster rolls was nice too. Good distanciation.
Was a very hot day, but always a nice brise to keep you cool. Background view on the st Laurent river , can see but far.
Will go again.

Only thing I’ll say is that only like 40% of the menu food items were available.. the selection that was left wasn’t the best, but still good!

Nice and cozy place to have a brunch and hang out with a pitcher of sangria or bottle of wine , price wise it’s pretty much the same everywhere in old port
