Excellent as always. As far as l’m concerned Michelin Guide is wrong for not renewing Terrapin Creeks star rating, let alone a minimum bib gormound.

Great restaurant in Bodega Bay. This was our third dinner there over a period of 1 1/2 years. Consistently good. Big choice of appetizers. Only about 5 entrees, but all wonderful. Quail and Steak were fantastic on our most recent visit.

Terrapin Creek was a last minute replacement for our planned restaurant which turned out to be closed. What a stroke of good luck. Everything about Terrapin Creek was excellent. We shared a salad, two entrees and a dessert. Each one was fresh, original, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Our servers were prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is smart casual. Overall, the experience was first-rate, comparable with the better San Francisco and Berkeley restaurants

Best rib eye ever!! Great service. Our favorite restaurant ever recently closed. - now we have found a new one!

My duck was delisc. - cooked to perfection on the inside, crunchies on the outside!

Also, fantastic oysters & bread pudding for dessert.

A wonderful dining experience! We felt warmly welcomed by the entire restaurant team including Andrew and Lee, the owners. This is a delightful space that offers a tasty wine list and beautiful, delicious entrees, each one better than the one before!
We highly recommend Terrapin Creek Cafe even if you have a bit of a drive to get there. In fact, we drove 60 miles, and we will absolutely do it again very soon!

Andrew and Lyda’s food is so wonderful. Very local ingredients, beautifully prepared. The oysters are always stunning, his pasta dishes perfect, and the fish and meat are always cooked to perfection. He made some gnocchi that were so light and airy that it was hard to believe they were made from potatoes. The place is simple and informal, but the service is precise without being fussy. Just a great experience, and even better than last time we were there.

We love dining at Terrapin Creek whenever we are in Bodega. The food is always wonderful, excellent preparation and beautiful presentation. The Octopus Salad is a favorite of ours and the oysters they serve are positively succulent! We're from Auburn, CA and feel the occasional trip is well worth the experience of dining at Terrapin Creek Cafe.

Frequent TCC regularly when visiting the coast. A very special place with owners that are the chefs and who genuinely care about their restaurant and clients. Varied seasonal menu that only uses fresh local produce, seafood and meat. Decorative presentation; you can distinctly taste every leaf and herbal seasoning. Good selection of wines, mostly Sonoma/Napa but also French and NZ. Excellent wait staff. Do not miss the opportunity to eat here. Better than anything in the area and maybe SF.

We have been here many times and LOVE this restaurant! We often order the appetizer scallops as our main course and those scallops are always fantastic: sweet, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! And, we often order the soup. This time there was a a very creamy soup that really "hit the spot" on a cool evening. For dessert, we shared the cake which was also delicious. The service is outstanding: friendly, helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. We know that we'll be back!!!!!

Terrapin Creek has been a favorite of ours. Tonight I ordered the Quail, which the waiter suggested not to order. The couple next to us didn’t have good reviews of their meal, beef and something else so I went ahead an ordered the quail. It was awful!!
The Caesar salad was excellent and soup. Restaurants do have off nights, will of course go back again.0

Worth the 70 minute drive! Best food in Sonoma County, regardless of price. Owners are CIA trained (East Coast) and the pay attention to the tiniest details without making you feel like you’re in some fancy schmancy place where you cant laugh or talk. Their one-star Michelin rating needs to be raised to at least two!

All 7 of us remarked how great the food was and how outstanding our wait staff was! We would highly recommend the oysters on the half shell, the cream of potato soup, the Mahi-Mahi and the duck breast. This was the first visit for most but my second visit and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to return!!!

The food had so much flavor, unique flavors that mingled well. And it looked really good! The staff is very friendly! Go to Terrapin Creek & Cafe in Bodega Bay. The food is worth the drive!
Coconut Panna Cotta (Oh my gosh the different flavors - lime, passion fruit, grapefruit)
Salad of Charred Octopus and Roasted Cauliflower
Sour Dough Bread Pudding with Apples
Ahi Ahi with Butternut Squash
Just really good food, really good. :)

We are happy to finally find fine dining in a casual and stylish setting in Bodega Bay. Locally sourced foods that were creatively prepared from scratch. No frozen, prebreaded meat/chicken or fish. The quail was perfectly seasoned and roasted. Bread was interesting and apple bread pudding was a delicious, refined version of Grandma's. Will definitely return.

Having eaten in and experienced some of the best restaurants in the world, I rank Terrapin Creek at the top of my list! The food is always superb - creative, tasty, beautifully presented and (perhaps most importantly) eatable! Andrew and Leah are excellent hosts as well as chefs and making a three hour drive to go to dinner at their establishment is not out of the question! I encourage anyone in the vicinity to enjoy a meal at this outstanding restaurant.

I was really looking forward to Terrapin Creek. The food was very disappointing (no sauce- not even a demi-glace- for the duck - which was a very small portion for Liberty duck) and the steak had to be sent back. The wine was a short pour (4 ounces at most for $15). Also, we had to eat at 5:30 because we booked online. All for $100. We won't be back.

We'd heard good things and finally got there! Warm and welcoming on a stormy night, the menu, though small, offers first rate fish, poultry and meat. Best Duck Breast Ever, and great local Miyagi Oysters, served with the tiniest hint of mignonette, so the flavor of the sea really comes through. Don't miss the Creme Fraiche Cheesecake, light, smooth and delicately flavored. Wines by the glass are exceptional selections as well. All in all, an exceptional meal!

Have been dining at Terrapin Creek for years, probably close to 15 times. It has been our go to place when we have family and friends visiting and on special occasions. It has consistently served outstanding food with attentive service. The menu is relatively small but the execution is superb. The wine list is impressive and well priced. The staff has not changed much over the years. Even though Terrapin Creek is now widely recognized as a destination gourmet restaurant in the wine country, it has not lost the warmth and the welcoming experience that attracted us in the first place. Highly recommend.

We drove around 1.5 hr from Napa to Bodega Bay. The view on the way was already soothing. People might say it's too remote but I would say it's an escape from the secular world.

The food here was fantastic. We can feel the enthusiasm and devotion through every bite. The ingredient was fresh and the seasoning and cooking were simple, which is always the most respectful way to treat the food.

It is definitely worth driving here as it's not only for a food festival, it's also a chance to immerse into nature.
