Food was good service was not! Waitress hardly paid attention to us and took forever to get refills and check back. He attitude was not nice either
The first visit I made in March was amazing. My server was friendly and the food was wonderful. This visit one of our party of 3 was late by 20 minutes and we felt very rushed to leave. Same waiter, so it was easy to note the difference. I just figured it was about turning tables quickly. The food was great though my friend who was late felt lots of pressure "to just order, already!" and settled on the waiter's recommendation of lasagna and was disappointed...she will not be back.
Delicious food. You won't go wrong eating at Terramia!
We had a 6:30 reservation, but we had to wait a few minutes, but it was worth it. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant next to the wine rack and it was the most quiet location. Our meals were delicious and our server was attentive.
Amazing food! Wonderful portions and superior quality! Very enjoyable! Loved our evening!
As always, I enjoyed the food and wine. Had the lasagna, which is delicious!
Food and service were excellent. Willing to modify dishes to accommodate for vegetarian.
Great wine selection.
They will try to seat you at a not so great table to fill sections even with reservations. We were firm that we would not be seated at a cramped tiny table when many others were open.
Our food was cold and the pasta was undercooked (as in very crunchy) . Our server was rude.
Felt like I was being judged having my 4 year old there but it’s not super fancy and it was early. Never been and had questions and it seemed to annoy server. Food was lite and nice not super oily and liked but can’t say I would make a point to go back
We lived in Italy for 4 years and Terra Mia is an authentic Italian Trattoria. The food is awesome; it’s owned and operated by a real Italian family; authentic is the right word. Open Table messed up our reservation so we ended up waiting 45 minutes and it was a little too loud for our taste, but for the food and fellowship it really is great.
My friend and I went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The food was excellent. I ordered the Tortellacci Emiliana. It was excellent. Sauce was perfect. My friend had the Lasagna, also filled with the beef and veal. Delicious! We had a nice glass of wine, large and reasonably priced. Our server let us linger and was very attentive throughout our meal. We will definitely return. Next time hope not to sit near the door. Too breezy.
Had a business dinner meeting for five (5), and it worked out just fine. The manager sat us at the other end of the restaurant by the kitchen on the high top tables. That space allowed us to talk, take minutes, and get our meeting accomplished...and oh yes, a VERY FINE meal was had by all our Board Members. Thanks to our server ( Roxanne ), she did a fabulous job; would ask for her as a server....not pushy, worked the table and respected our conversations so as not to interrupt, etc...THANK YOU Roxanne!
Excellent food and wait staff. Parking is a bit tight.
The place was loud, a bit overpriced for what it is and our server seemed very irritated with us. Particularly in my choice not to drink alcohol. I’d asked for water with a lot of lemons. I was given three lemon slices and told. that was all I would be getting. Even after I ordered a $30 entree. Then was a questioned why I would even need lemons at all? Will not return.
I love this restaurant, food, wine and service are excellent both during lunch and dinner
Simply the Best!
Maybe a better selection of red wines (Pinot noir) by the glass.
Not too good for others while big parties or groups there if dining nearby.
Food was great so was the staff, would definitely return
I’ve been there many times, both for lunch and dinner. I’ve never been disappointed! Food is wonderful.
Really good food, but understaffed for the crowd. The lasagne was not good and was sent back and we ordered the papardelle w/lobster sauce (the day’s special), which was awesome. The restaurant seemed slammed, but it still a nice dinner and we will definitely return to this location.
Staff, food, service all amazing!
This is my Mom's favorite spot, service and food are always excellent. GM is always on the floor visiting with customers and making sure everyone is enjoying their meal.
Rehearsal dinner night. Was great service and food was as always awesome
It's always a great place to go for happy hour or a nice place to meet friends
Easily one of the best Italian restaurants in the entire Orlando area.
Great experience. Great food.
Great dinner. Great service. Thank you!!
This is one of the best if not the best
Restaurant in Orlando
it does not get any better
The service was impeccable and the food, as usual, was well prepared, sumptuous and well thought out. My wife and I haveenjoyed each and every visit to Terra Mia!
Upset with waiter as he presented one bill for the four of us. I graciously offered to split it although I paid 30.00 more than I ordered
This is a very favorite restaurant for us for special occasion. The food is always outstanding, the service is also. We always return for a great meal and fantastic night out.
My fiance and I made a reservation for two here for Friday night. We were placed at a table at the back of the restaurant; where basically we were ignored and forgotten. We were sat next to a table for a large party where one person was sitting waiting for the rest of her party. She was served water and bread immediately; yet we waited at least 10 mins for both. Next, behind us sat friends of the owner, as while we are waiting tbey are seated have appetizers and wine decanted. We had no water and our bottle of wine was still unopened. Finally after saying something we received service. The food was ok; it wad hot but not seasoned well. Based on the service we will not be back.
We went for a birthday dinner treat. The food was very good. My date had a salad (the one with prosciutto) which was large and very tasty. His lobster ravioli were not much quantity. The marinara sauce was good but only five ravioli. My pear and gorgonzola salad was also large and very tasty. My entree of littleneck clams and spaghetti was delicious. Pasta cooked al dente- perfect. We did not stay for dessert.
The restaurant was perfect for a special occasion. We would not go there regularly for dinner.
I understand their happy hour has some good deals and good appetizers.
Food here is always good and the services if usually very good as well. This particular dining occasion was for my wife's birthday and so we had the entire family. My only complaint is that it is extremely noisy in the restaurant and the tables are so close together that there is very little room for the wait staff to maneuver therefore they keep bumping into you chair while you are trying to eat. Otherwise, excellent place to eat.
The good is that the food & value for the money is awesome. They have great pizza, chicken parm, & a yummy "deconstructed" lasagna that I come back for time & time again.
The bad is that we made reservations thru open table & they told us there was a 15 minute wait but we waited for almost an hour. They kept seating people in front of us, some who had come in after us, and I had to wonder if they were actual reservations, walk ins, or regulars. I was upset that they obviously don't take reservations seriously and it ruined the experience for us that night. The service was mediocre. The waiters would disappear & not come back for awhile. If it wasn't for the good food, we definitely would not return.
We like Terra Mia, we go quite often, but this time around it wasn't as good as the other times. The food was good and the service was ok, not great like our previous visits. We will definitely go back though.
Always a great meal
Was kind of disappointed, I made reservations for 4 on a Saturday evening at 6:30, we arrived on time & got seated on time, but we were put at a very small table facing the back wall wine rack, our server was ok, but he wasn't around that much. We had to look for him for water refills. I was the last one finished & I needed a take home box, they took my plate to put my food in a box & I waited for a while for it, then our server came with the check & said have a good night, I said where is my food? He looked at me & said oh, I will go get it. As we waited again, the manager came over & said they are making another one cause they threw my food away. ok, we can all make mistakes but... I don't know if they were having a bad night, the restaurant wasn't packed so?? who knows! Anyway, I was just disappointed. I don't know if I will go back anytime soon, I may give it another try but will see.
After having a couple of very nice lunches here I was looking forward to dinner. This was disappointing at best.
We were seated at a table sandwiched between another four top and a two top. The two top was positioned at a right angle to our table so our backs were against the side of their table. From the looks on the diners sitting there when we were seated, they were not happy either. Our backs almost touched their table.
We had an aisle on either side of our table but our servers reached across the table each time to serve. As a result, grated cheese and other items were spilled onto the table with no effort to clean them up.
The appetizers and entrees ranged from good to bland. It seems items served with a red sauce were quite and well seasoned. The chicken dish with artichokes needed more seasoning than I could add to it.
The lamb special smelled leftover and the person who ordered this said it didn't taste fresh. We asked if we could get an appetizer portion of the gnocchi but were told they pre portion this and it could not be done. Maybe other menu items are prepared similarly and that is why the freshness and seasonings lacked.
