Terrain Garden Cafe
Dinner: Wednesday - Sunday: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
Service was outstanding!! Food was delicious! Definitely would recommend.
A bit pricy, but cool takes on classic dishes with fresh, local ingredients. I liked the atmosphere a lot and really liked my seasonal cider drink. It was fun to browse the store while we waited.
Great BYOB resturant with an interesting and diverse menu and interesting ambiance. The wait staff is very professional and enthusiastic. Their smiles are contagious. Everything on the menu is appealing. One of their signature appetizers is the "board," cheese, meat, fruit, spreads and bread presented on a round wooden board. As a person with Celiac Disease, I think I would have enjoyed the board more fully if gluten free bread options were available. Otherwise, the meal was flawless!
Amazing at always!...I have been to Terrain at least 15 x's......LUV!
Terrain Garden Cafe is always the perfect outing with friends or for a date! I have been hooked ever since my first visit last year. The seasonal atmosphere is ever-changing, making every visit back worth the anticipation. There is always something new to look forward to!
I loved the food and the service, but the restaurant was SO LOUD that we could not hear our server or ourselves speak.
Excellent in every way! Food, ambiance and service.
This place is amazing! They never disappoint. Whether you’re there for a quick bite, brunch, dinner or just to shop around their beautiful stores. Highly recommended and will be back for sure.
The food was fantastic, atmosphere was relaxing, service was very good and spacing is tables was comfortable. You will not regret this outing, very enjoyable
Lovely spot for brunch. Good food and awesome coffee! Would like to see more noted gluten free options. Not much available for the celiac customer!
Terrain is amazing. Delicious food, chic ambiance, and great people! I will go back again and again, even though it is 20 minutes from my house and I pass many spectacular restaurants!
Everything was a amazing from the food to the atmosphere to our server. Gianna took great care of us and never gave us a hard time for camping out at the table after we paid our bill.
Frequented by an almost exclusively female crowd and extremely loud. All of our drinkware had lipstick stains. The food was surprisingly good and everything else on the menu sounded delicious too.
We didn't realize Terrain was BYOB, so just FYI. The restaurant is lovely and in such a nice setting with the garden store attached. I have been before and the food wasn't as good as my previous experiences, so I'm not sure if it was an off night. It was good, but not great. It also took a really long time to get our entrees and there was no apology or explanation.
Celebrated our one year anniversary here (as it was also the site of our wedding). It’s been a long time favorite of ours, but this time was no exception with some amazing food and even more amazing service. It felt like every server in the restaurant found a way to stop by our table which felt very special. The place is always beautiful and will always be in our hearts.
Celebrating our Anniversary, Terrain is a BYOB, starting with an Artisanal Cheese board consisting of local cheeses and crostini, fresh bread, a wonderful salad and exceptional dinner. The service was outstanding, the ambience out of the ordinary. There was seating outside under twinkling lights, a firepit going among the Fall decor of the nursery..an outstanding evening. Thank you!
Busy Saturday and kitchen was overwhelmed. Food was average
Always love our visits to terrain. Coming all the way from San Diego so it’s the ambience and food that keeps us coming back. Elizabeth was our server and made it special by bringing us homemade sorbet in celebration of our anniversary.
We love the garden ambiance, supported by intriguing and tasty selections.
Food is always inventive and delicious. Service is gracious and attentive. The noise level was really high when we were there. I think it's a little quieter in in the outer dining area.
Setting is beautiful with all the treasures of the garden center surrounding you. Food fresh and creative. The service staff is friendly and very accommodating.
Terrain garden cafe has rolled out a new fall menu, with a larger variety of options.
These include a dutch baby pancake and a variety of toasts including the one we had with goat cheese and figs. think avocado toast only with diffferent toppings. there were also fall salads and egg dishes and a few entrees as well. We had a cake with chamomile and a miso topping-a fitting end to a Birthday lunch.
I am never disappointed whenever I eat at Terrain Garden Cafe and then you have an option to find fabulous gifts. A must place to dine.
Pleasant atmosphere with a select menu-limited choices
Wonderful dining experience. Food, service, decor: outstanding.
great atmosphere, great food, and great service...love the outdoor feel !
It was great except I found something in my food that should not be there and I had to send it back and lost my appetite. I realize things happen but it was sadly my first time! Great vibes though and the service was on point!
We’ve been a few times now and always a nice experience, food is a little pricey but totally expected for the area. Breakfast board is awesome, French toast was awesome, cheeseboard was also very good. And pretty much any tea/coffee you get is always good. Servers are always very nice and helpful.
Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere and great service. We had a birthday celebration in the evening and it was perfect. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they look out for your every need. Even though the setting is rather casual, the service is first class and the food was perfect. Its a BYOB so a bit of savings there. As the daylight dims, the restaurant lights really glow, so a beautiful atmosphere among the gorgeous plants that abound.
I have eaten here many times. Terrain has been my favorite place for quite a while. But...this time I was disappointed on many levels. The tomatoes on the arugula salad were mushy and inedible. The salad dressing was very forgettable and the portion as a dinner was small. The corn fritters are really hush puppies and not what I expected at all. This is a BYOB only restaurant. Time to grow up and get a liquor license. And the mushroom soup which has been a personal favorite was not up to par. The soup was not warm, over drizzled with olive oil and lacked that fresh made taste. Not sure if the new Terrain in Devon is causing this location to decline but a very big difference from previous visits.
Terrain is the most magical sweetest place to not only eat but shop. Loved our lunch - the burger is FANTASTIC! The bread in the flower pot - delicious. and the spritzers are amazing. I'm already planning my trip back!
A nice little respite from the outdoor gray. Food is always great. Please find a way to make gf bread.
Beautiful setting. Menu was limited, but good variety. Would definitely go back for another visit.
We always love coming to Terrain! Walking inside it almost seems unreal just how beautiful everything is. We had a reservation and came on time however, we did have to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. We loved the bread in a pot, looks really cool and tastes great! We got the breakfast board as well as the Terrain burger. They were delicious, the burger was a bit too greasy but still tasted good. Overall great experience at Terrain!
The service was wonderful, the food was not. Had four entrees and nobody liked the food. Halibut was served tasteless with cold sour cream underneath it next to chilled hard grains with no taste. Fish seemed to have sat around before served hence the temperature was not hot. The duck breast had no flavor or sauce with hard cold grains like the halibut. Salmon was on bed of sliced squash barely cooked and lacked flavor. Out of all the four dishes the steak and frites was just ok. No one from the table was picky eater, the only highlight was the free bread and butter served before meal. Price was overpriced for what you get. I prefer their brunch than dinner. Was very disappointed. Normally would take pictures of the food at meals but the only picture I did take was the bread and butter. As the presentation of the entree was obviously not worthy or appetizing to the eyes. Overall I feel the combination of the dishes they put together just doesn’t go well and barely any flavor to any of the dishes. You just go there for the ambiance.
The service was amazing. Never overbearing and extremely considerate. The ambiance was very unique and relaxing. On top of this, the food was great.
Beautiful place with a delicious menu! Try the cauliflower burger and a custom made spritzer!
One of our favorite places to go. The food and service never disappoint.
Great night out with the hubby!! Love the outdoor seating, and the food was fabulous.
