Brunch at Terrain is always a welcomed treat, especially on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The setting and atmosphere in the Greenhouse is wonderfully relaxing. The food and service is second to none. Be sure to bring a bottle of your favorite wine or bubbly to enjoy with the fantastic cheese board and charcuterie.
Went to terrain last Sunday with my 13 and 15 year old we drove 1 1/2 and really were looking forward to eating outside since it was the first nice day in a long time . We got there at 11:15 our reservation time and we had to wait which was no problem since it’s such a beautiful place to walk around , when it was time to be seated about 15 minutes later we were sat inside I asked to sit in the garden or the patio but they said you had to request it before hand and they could not accommodate us at that time . Kind of bummed as we sat in the back near the bathrooms . Our waitress was very busy but she was sweet and attentive . We had the French toast delicious! And eggs with the asparagus. I had a mocha my son had hot tea and my daughter an iced tea . Presentation is quaint and delightful.
$59.00 for the three of us before tip . Place was packed lots of women and baby showers . It’s BYOB FYI
My only complaints are it was very loud - not energetic. And honestly, we wandered around a little trying to find the cafe and then trying to find the exit.
We love Terrain! The menu is always wonderful and fresh! The cheese board, which features Doe Run Farm, is incredible! The presentation is awesome and the wait staff was super nice!
We LOVE terrain!!!! Every time we eat here, the food is incredible, the staff friendly and the scene great.
I loved our time at Terrain Garden Cafe. We were celebrating a friend's birthday ofter our afternoon at Longwood Gardens. My only recommendation is that I prefer more moderately priced entrees. The brunch menu has a hamburger that is delicious and it would be wonderful if that were included on the dinner menu.
Thank you for a lovely evening.
I took a friend who had never been and the food was not good.
Very creative late afternoon lunch. Service was good, despite the number of diners.
My favorite spot!
Amazing food and atmosphere!!!
Every single detail is beautiful and thoughtful! Such a great visual experience and the food is consistently fantastic.
Overall a really nice experience! All four of us loved our meals and felt that the portion sizes were ample. The bread and butter served for the table were delicious, but we wished there was a little more. Coffee and water refills were very frequent. Our waitress was attentive, but our meal took a bit long to arrive after our appetizer.
Unfortunately, our table placement was less than ideal. We were right next to the bathroom area, so lines formed close to our table. Plus, the idea of sitting near a bathroom is hardly appetizing. Also, they had recently watered a large, nearby potted plant, causing a sizable puddle to form under half of the table. I had to turn my feet at an awkward angle to avoid the water while we were there, as I didn't want my shoes getting damaged and feet getting wet. That definitely should've been mopped up for the comfort and safety of guests.
Always a lovely experience
Food was very fresh, creative. A little on the expensive side, but different and worth the price.
This BYOB restaurant evokes its garden location, indoors and outdoors, with great food choices served in a variety of manners and styles--create your own tapas or go full course. All is delightful. Complimented by wonderful service.
Creative menu and comfortable setting. Could use some sound remediation as it was very loud.
Food was below par this time specifically quinoa and falafel salad just packed with quinoa and not so
Much flavor and slow to get table with even booking in advance with opentable
Food was excellent. Blood orange toast was crunchy and delicious. Service was excellent. A little loud for conversation.
A delicious brunch in the perfect setting.
The greenhouse was full and noisy——understandably so. Not good for quiet talk, but the service was great and the food was good.
I'm upset with myself that I didn't stop and eat here sooner. Amazing experience. Not too long of a wait for a table with a reservation. My friends and I had a lovely experience from start to finish. I got their burger with an egg and bacon for brunch and it was so delicious! Get the truffle cheese on your fries and add that bacon and egg to the burger, it's worth the extra bucks!! We'll be back for sure!
Wonderful just like every and each time
I took a friend to Terrain for her birthday. It's the second year in a row that we went there specifically for her special day. We love browsing the store and having a fun meal together. We drive an hour to get to Terrain - it's a shame it's not closer or we would go more often.
Lovely place for our anniversary brunch
Excellent! Our server was awesome.
We were there for a late Sunday brunch. Although I was a bit skeptical I wanted to try the blood orange toast and am so glad I did. I thought it was out of this world and look forward to going back again to get it. My husband had the salmon toast and loved it as well. We shared the Farmhouse board and were impressed with all of the selections. Be careful of the mustard...it's hot! My compliments to the chefs and service staff. Professional and efficient.
Ordered cheese & meat board and a quinoa salad. Cheese board was just ok, crustini almost too hard to eat. Quinoa salad was tasteless.
always enjoy dining here for a delicious relaxing lunch. My daughter and I went for lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere and food -like always. Never disappoints.
Terrain never disappoints. The menu is unique, the portions good size, and the food delicious. Wonderful coffee and tea bar with refreshing additions like hibiscus tea. The service is always friendly and efficient. I love sitting in the greenhouse.
if I die and go to heaven, it will be Terrain. Love. Love. Love.
This place is getting a little too busy and instagrammy but I still love it. But they need to do something about their crowds.
Beautiful place with great food. A bit pricy but I think the experience is worth it. Definitely worth the trip and makes me very excited for spring/summer being around so much gorgeous greenery. Love it here.
Showed up on time and table was not ready despite open tables. Sat about 20 minutes after reservation.
Drove from Philly to enjoy after a visit to Brandywine Museum. Excellent all-around. Will recommend and be back soon!
Truly magical place! Can't wait to come back and visit it again.
Loved coming in and celebrating my sister's birthday. Everyone was super nice and laid back, we really enjoyed our time. Plus the food was great!
Great food at a reasonable price and helpful wait staff.
Very noisy lunch crowd when we arrived and after being seated it was 10-15 minutes before a server approached and told us she’d be right with us. Five minutes later another server who saw us sitting came and told us the specials and got us beverages. He returned with drinks and ended up taking our order. Good thing we were not in a rush. After a while as people left it quieted down and service improved. Food was good as always.
