Tonight was my second visit to terrain and I was highly disappointed compared to my first experience dining here. It took a little to long for someone to greet us, we had no idea who our server even was because we had one person take our order (who we never spoke to again) and then another checking on us. The hummus and Brussels sprouts were really good, but for the large plate we both ordered salmon and there was way too much wheat berry that it was unappetizing. We waited a good while before our actual server came over for dessert and she said “has no one been over with menus for you” it was overall not a good experience compared to the first time we had eaten there.
We had a great time! A little place in the corner provided a quaint and intimate experience and the staff was amazing! Thanks for catering to my small request for the yellow flowers!
We loved Terrain! The ambience, the food, the service, all the little details that set great restaurants apart from good ones. We are already planning on coming back in another month. That should tell you about how much we loved our time here. Loved, loved, LOVED!!!
I was a little surprised that the wheatberry served with the trout platter was cold. I expected more sweet potatoes than the few that were mixed in with the wheatberry. Never having wheatberry before perhaps that is the way they are to be served. The apple fritters were good but perhaps could have been drained before placing in the bowl. When ordering tea beware they brew the tea before serving it so order ahead of time if you would like it with your dessert.
The ambiance is delightful. Make time for browsing the store before or after your dining experience.
Food was ok (not great), but the service was a mess. Long waits, nothing came when it was supposed to, mistakes on our order. The restaurant was busy, but still. This restaurant seemed to me very concerned with style, and short on substance.
Quaint yet rustic lunch spot. This is such a beautiful little place. If you get a chance to have lunch at Terrain do not pass up the opportunity. You will not be sorry.
Server was awesome (Lexi). Food was exceptional. Can’t wait to go again
Love this place! Great atmosphere, good food and beautiful store to browse around in after brunch.
Had a great healthy lunch in a cool setting. My fresh tasty salad had the best chicken breast I've ever had as a salad addition. The bonus was shopping after lunch with my latte in hand. I'll be back.
Absolutely very pleased I will definitely be back and I've already recommended it to many other people
Delicious cozy and lovely.
We arrived at 8 p.m. after a movie at Painters Crossing and were warmly greeted by an amiable hostess and the gracious manager, Jared. We (I) had forgotten that Terrain is BYOB when making the reservation and so arrived without libation. Jared was at once generously accommodating and effective in rescuing us from this oversight. Our server was similarly friendly and interested in our evening's outing and eager to make us comfortable. The menu is great, the mushroom soup was tremendous and my date's scallops and pork belly were perfectly executed. We both the loved the atmosphere. Will be back again and again.
My husband and I just celebrated his birthday at Terrain and we cannot say enough good things about it. The ambiance was unique and charming, the services was spot on and thoughtful, and the food was AMAZING. I've already told several of our friends/family how they need to go try this restaurant. We will absolutely be back again.
Food was excessively salty. This was true for every dish we ordered and we ordered 4 different items.
Enjoyed the shopping and dining experience. Great fun. Great food. Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Glad we made a reservation.
Terraine is always fun with good food. Great setting.
I have eaten here many time s and continue to be surprised and pleased with the menu. I LOVE bringing new people here who have not experienced this terrific combination of great food and great shopping
Wonderful eye candy and tastebud candy. Service was excellent and the cafe is unique and beautiful and zen all in one.
Food was decent however the short ribs were a bit on the fatty side but still tasty. The pork was quite salty especially to someone that is salt sensitive.
Fantastic food selection and quality. Great place to browse.
