Sunday brunch in the Greenhouse...always a special treat. Nothing like an afternoon of great food, tranquil atmosphere and a bottle of champagne. The staff at Terrain are always more than accommodating and the food is always superb. Always ask for a table in the Greenhouse...it’s definitely the way to go!
Loved a lot. Great dinner.
Nice lunch with daughters for birthday. Loved not being hurried and the waiter’s attention to everything. Going to book again soon!
Delicious food and lovely setting!
The greenhouse is a lovely place for brunch and being a weekday it wasn't crowded so the noise was very manageable (sometimes it can be very loud in there).
The "breakfast board" of eggs and meats was very good. The caramel apple french toast was a sugar overload. They should have skipped the syrup completely and just had the caramel around the plate. Sea salt (available on the table) helped cut the sugar bomb some but I would not order this again.
We were too full for dessert but the server (knowing it was a birthday we were celebrating) brought a cookie on a plate with a candle, and a bag to bring the cookie home. This was an extremely nice touch and made my husband very happy. I truely appreciated this kind of service and it made up for some weirdness with the host when we checked in.
Our reservation was for 10am and apparently the system won't unlock and allow them to seat you until precisely 10. Which is fine, except it was actually several minutes after 10. But they host kept saying I can't do anything until 10am. What he meant was 10 am on their computer, but he just kept saying it isn't 10 yet. It was just a bit awkward and could have been handled very differently. Fortunately the rest of the experience was nice.
I very much enjoyed my meal at the Terrain Garden Cafe. I ordered the terrain burger, and I can safely say it was one of the best I've had. My favorite aspect of this restaurant was its interior decor. The restaurant itself was beautiful - lots of natural light, plants, wooden furniture, and string lights gave me a cozy feeling. I would definitely recommend Terrain to a friend, and I will be coming back.
Loved the food and environment! It was quaint and cozy!
One of the prettiest restaurants I know! Always a pleasure to dine here. Love the garden environment.
As always, the food is incredible as is the service! My favorite lunch spot!
My husband and I came for brunch. Everything was so beautiful!!! The food was great! Mary Beth was our server. She was so so sweet and her service was perfect. I can’t wait to come back. Also came home with some pretty prizes!!!🌸🛍
Overall it was a nice restaurant. I liked the decorations and the service was great. Server was very nice and helpful. Downside was value and selection. Menu is very small so should have checked before came. Got short rib and it was very fatty. Wasted 1/3 of dinner. Wife got steak and frites and that was what I should have gotten. Hers was very good. Another complaint is prices. Short rib was $31 and in no way was it worth it. Left hungry.
I would have liked to substitute a small portion of salad for the plateful of French fries, but the up-charge was too high....$5.00. I would have liked a small portion of one of their salads because they are so interesting and creative, but I didn't know if I would enjoy a large portion.
Food was so good, loved all the different options on the menu. A little more expensive but so worth it if you want to go somewhere a little extra special
Great! Chris made our anniversary special!
Although it’s noisy, the atmosphere is so cool that it can be overlooked. The Food is eclectic but always good
Trout tasted spoiled-very fishy odor. Noise level was terrible-had to scream to be heard and was hoarse after. Would not repeat. Prices ridiculous.
Terrain at Styers has an uplifting environment as you browse the retail area.
The cafe has an interesting menu and delishious foods and selections.
Always a great experience! Servers are very accommodating. Speed at which food is served is awesome given the crowds on Sunday! I’ve dined in San Francisco also and it’s lovely. But this is truly a excellent experience.
Such amazing food! So fresh and tasty. Our server was great, too. Definitely will be back!
This was our first time at this establishment. The ambiance is perfect and just a really cool dining experience. The food was fantastic. We had the short ribs and the steak both were amazing. The desserts were also great just a bit overpriced. Service was great very friendly and helpful. End of the day the food and service was wonderful the atmosphere was fantastic, a little loud but not painful. The prices are a little high but is to be expected in a niche place like this.
I love Terrain! Can't say enough good things about this special place. The food, atmosphere, and staff are all top notch. Definitely would recommend.
Our waiter was Chris. He was very attentive and unobtrusive. Love Terrain and Terrain Garden Cafe.
I loved everything about our lunch, I was just a little bummed when I got my cheese board, I had no clue what was on my platter, all the tables around us, someone said what everything was. The couple we were with even said that was odd because they have gotten it before were told what each thing was. It was delicious regardless, the olive tapenade was amazing, but again I was bummed when the few things I saved to bring home, that was not in my box when I got home, now I know to specify or do it myself. There was honey, apple slices, seeded mustard (delicious), picked veggies, green olive tapenade, I know there was a cheddar cheese and a really good soft cheese but not sure about the other two. I recommend the spritzers to drink if you don’t BYOB, you can mix the flavors. Oh and the truffle fries were AMAZING! Like I said the overall experience was great, it was just little things. Definitely will be back! And I highly recommend making a reservation, every time we have stopped out at the garden cafe it is always busy.
We love Terrain! Our server was incredibly helpful in communicating our dietary restrictions to the chef and customizing meals for our needs. Much appreciated!
My wife and I had brunch here for the first time and loved it. The food was so fresh and service was wonderful. We can't wait to go back again.
Delicious trout! A little noisy, but conversation is ok with slightly raised voice
Tonight was my second visit to terrain and I was highly disappointed compared to my first experience dining here. It took a little to long for someone to greet us, we had no idea who our server even was because we had one person take our order (who we never spoke to again) and then another checking on us. The hummus and Brussels sprouts were really good, but for the large plate we both ordered salmon and there was way too much wheat berry that it was unappetizing. We waited a good while before our actual server came over for dessert and she said “has no one been over with menus for you” it was overall not a good experience compared to the first time we had eaten there.
We had a great time! A little place in the corner provided a quaint and intimate experience and the staff was amazing! Thanks for catering to my small request for the yellow flowers!
We loved Terrain! The ambience, the food, the service, all the little details that set great restaurants apart from good ones. We are already planning on coming back in another month. That should tell you about how much we loved our time here. Loved, loved, LOVED!!!
I was a little surprised that the wheatberry served with the trout platter was cold. I expected more sweet potatoes than the few that were mixed in with the wheatberry. Never having wheatberry before perhaps that is the way they are to be served. The apple fritters were good but perhaps could have been drained before placing in the bowl. When ordering tea beware they brew the tea before serving it so order ahead of time if you would like it with your dessert.
The ambiance is delightful. Make time for browsing the store before or after your dining experience.
Food was ok (not great), but the service was a mess. Long waits, nothing came when it was supposed to, mistakes on our order. The restaurant was busy, but still. This restaurant seemed to me very concerned with style, and short on substance.
Quaint yet rustic lunch spot. This is such a beautiful little place. If you get a chance to have lunch at Terrain do not pass up the opportunity. You will not be sorry.
Server was awesome (Lexi). Food was exceptional. Can’t wait to go again
Love this place! Great atmosphere, good food and beautiful store to browse around in after brunch.
Had a great healthy lunch in a cool setting. My fresh tasty salad had the best chicken breast I've ever had as a salad addition. The bonus was shopping after lunch with my latte in hand. I'll be back.
Absolutely very pleased I will definitely be back and I've already recommended it to many other people
Delicious cozy and lovely.
We arrived at 8 p.m. after a movie at Painters Crossing and were warmly greeted by an amiable hostess and the gracious manager, Jared. We (I) had forgotten that Terrain is BYOB when making the reservation and so arrived without libation. Jared was at once generously accommodating and effective in rescuing us from this oversight. Our server was similarly friendly and interested in our evening's outing and eager to make us comfortable. The menu is great, the mushroom soup was tremendous and my date's scallops and pork belly were perfectly executed. We both the loved the atmosphere. Will be back again and again.
Have been coming here for years just love to stroll around there's always something lovely to pick up. And then have a great lunch with friends.
