TerraCotta Wine Bistro
Our varied menu features both large and smaller portions of daily entrees that encourage guests to sample and share a number of dishes.
TerraCotta Happy Hour continues all day long, with over 60 wine by the glass options available for $6 every day until 6pm.
Charming, beautiful little place. Our first place eat at this trip and was the perfect choice. Food and drink outstanding.
This was our second time dining here because my husband loved to try different wines at Happy Hour prices of $6 per glass. He very much enjoyed his bruschetta appetizers (selection of 4 different bruschettas). I enjoyed my branzino, but I've been stuffed up (allergic to something in the air) since we got to Santa Fe, so my taste buds are "off." We had leftovers to take back with us to the place where we were staying.
Great meal and nice ambiance for catching up with friends. Always love the salmon salad!
We are return customers and have thoroughly enjoyed both times. The food is excellent. The wait staff were friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. We very much enjoy the wine selections.
My wife and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary here. We were happy we did. Neither of us are that knowledgeable about wine. Our server helped us navigate the large selection and came up with some very good choices. The bruschetta was delicious. The brie and fig combination was our favorite. We split a spinach salad which was just right. My wife had a melt in the mouth filet. I chose the fish. It was light and flavorful. I wish we had saved some room for dessert. We will on our next visit.
Great food always!! Shrimp Greek salad was yummy. Brisket sandwich was outstanding. We have been here many times and we’ve not been disappointed. Service is friendly and attentive.
We enjoyed our first dinner in Santa Fe at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the "Happy Hour" outstanding selection of wines by the glass. Our server Kira took excellent care of us, as she was always cheerful and upbeat. My salmon entree was so large, I took part of it with me to eat for breakfast the next morning. The patio garden area where we ate is very colorful. The flowers and plants outside show lots of care is put into the landscaping. We will probably dine here again before we leave Santa Fe.
Second time here and loved it as much as the first. Nice quiet setting. Great wine list. We loved everything we ordered - smoked trout, bruschettas, grilled artichoke, oysters rockefeller. Definitely a great place for small plate sharing.
We love this place. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. Got before 6:00 and get great wines for only 6.00
6 of us for lunch today at 1pm (Saturday). It was quiet, but we found the food to be very good and fairly priced. Had an excellent glass of wine for just $6 and our server was great.
This was our 2nd time dining in Terra Cotta Wine Bar. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and the staff went out of their way to acknowledge our anniversary. We will look forward to going back next time we visit Santa Fe.
Service was excellent, wine selection great
It was great, we will certainly return!
Terra Cotta wine bistro has become our favorite place to go for lunch. The food is good with a broad variety. The place is cozy and the service is warm friendly and thoughtful. I it quiet enough that you can have a good conversation. Try the French Onion Soup.
We took a dear friend and colleague to this 6 year-old addition to the many fine eateries in Santa Fe. This gem can certainly take its rightful place alongside all of them. Our dinner began with the bruschetta appetizer which thrilled us all for the variety of toppings, freshness and delicious crisp texture of the bread. Soups, salads and entrees followed and were met with oohs and ahs all around. The pair of shared desserts at the finish were equally tasty and left us well sated. Our experience was enhanced by efficient, friendly service that flowed throughout. One major footnote is how welcome the low ambient noise was. We could actually hear one another amidst quiet sharing and conversed with another diner a couple of tables away. We look forward to a return!
Out of 3 courses, only onion rings good, dry, undercooked spinach and very small oysters for “Rockefeller”; no flavor to special dish soft shell crabs, too much batter, soggy vegetables; wine list of many grocery wines priced too high. Maybe an off night, but would never recommend this restaurant. Worst meal in Santa Fe!
Enjoyed. Needs more parking. See full review on TripAdvisor under reviewer name BatonWaver.
Crab dip with corn was way too spicy! Should have warned us!
We were on our way back to Albuquerque from a day trip further north and decided to stop here for dinner after finding it on Open Table. TerraCotta Wine Bistro did not disappoint. We were warmly welcomed into their comfortable space. The mouthwatering basil pesto sauce on the Burrata Salad was some of the best pesto I’ve had in a long time, and the fresh burrata just melted in our mouths. The salmon salad was also a winner with it’s generous portion of mustard and brown sugar seasoned salmon and fresh greens. We chose the Olive Oil Carrot Cake for dessert. It was moist, flavorful and just the right size for two people.
One of the owners who is also the head chef mingled with guests and stopped by our table as well. We are looking forward to dining here again soon.
We enjoyed a good casual dinner and a good wine list, nicely served in a pleasant environment
Great front patio dining; the wine options are fantastic--reasonably-priced wines-by-the-glass the food was so damn tasty. We'll be back for happy hour!
Great food great wines - SO many choices - wanted them all so can’t wait to go back- highly recommended!
Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.
Nice place, good food and service. Not the standard menu. Group of 8 young women made a lot of noise
Love this restaurant. It provides a small intimate environment with a wide variety of wine and dinning selections. There was a very loud bachelorette party next to us but the manager tried to address the noise. I will continue to eat here when I’m in Santa Fe.
Food and wine was delicious and plentiful. The prices seems very reasonable for what was offered and there were varying price points across both red and white wines. The only ding was that the waitstaff seemed to be short handed the day we dined so we had to ask to get water refills. Waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and made a good suggestion for dessert.
My husband and I went to the TerraCotta Wine Bistro on Memorial Day weekend right after a long hike in the mountains, and we were grateful to find table space and an accommodating staff. The food was excellent, perhaps a tad pricey, but the selection was good and we were there before 6 pm, so in time for their $6 wine by the glass happy hour. We would definitely go back!
Small, cozy, tables very close, no real privacy. Food excellent and service very attentive and personalized.
We throughly enjoyed our evening at Terra Cotta. The wine list is expansive with lots of different prices. Something for everyone. The food was excellent. My husband and I both enjoyed selections from the spring price fixed menu, but plan to go back to enjoy other dishes that looked delicious coming from the kitchen. Our servers were cheerful friendly and helpful in making recommendations. The atmosphere is lively without being busy or noise. I have already recommended TerraCotta to friends!!
Excellent food and service. Well-priced and a great ambiance.
Wow! Where to begin! This is our favorite restaurant in all of SantaFe since we discovered it about 6 years ago. We are not residents, but visit 2-3 times a year. Yet they always recognize us and treat us like regulars. We ALWAYS enjoy great food, friendly staff and cozy, yet upscale, ambiance. It’s absolutely the best value we’ve found in the area.
This time, celebrating our anniversary with them, they outdid themselves! Anniversary greetings from almost every staff member, they remembered our favorite table, served us complimentary champagne, and two of the owners visited with us. Jake, Emily, Glenda and Katherine not only served us delicious food in a lovely place, but made our celebration a totally special experience!
We are constantly delighted with our visits to TerraCotta. The food is always excellent and the wait staff is perfect. I've lived in Santa Fe for many years and TerraCotta is one of the few restaurants that I know I will always enjoy.
Best barbecue I’ve ever had, and I’m from Texas! The sauce was a perfect combination of sweet and tangy; the brisket was thinly sliced, and tender; and the ribs actually fell off the bones. But barbecue is just one choice. The French onion soup was covered in a thick layer of cheeses, and the house salad was full of delicious sweet and savory treats. We were lucky enough to have two servers including one in training. Both were attentive and friendly. This is a quaint little romantic spot with great wine, food, and people.
Everything I have tried has been amazing! They have a large selection of wines baring from $20~ bottles to more expensive ones. They have the best pot pies I've ever had!
Our new Santa Fe “go to “ place.....always just lovely.
Always welcoming and delicious! One of out go-to places in Santa Fe.
Wonderful variety to the menu -- we particularly enjoyed the mix of bruschetta to choose from. Service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was convivial and relaxed.
Food, wine, and service were great - will definitely be back!
This place was truly a hidden gem. I never would have found it by its location as it is not directly in the heart of town; but rather on a side street. I was browsing the web looking for a place to have dinner at the last minute while walking around town and this happen to pop-up. We were quite happy with our little discovery. Would definitely go there again if we were ever in town.
Adorable place, they have their own parking since it is tight in the area which was nice. We were seated in the back room at a small table in the corner! A few minutes the Host came back and moved us to a nice table in the big front room. Huge wine list, nicely catagorized by price. Crab cakes and the Chicken Schnitzle were delicious, and the dessert. Our waitress was spot on but not bothersome. Will come back next time were in town.
