Our varied menu features both large and smaller portions of daily entrees that encourage guests to sample and share a number of dishes.
TerraCotta Happy Hour continues all day long, with over 60 wine by the glass options available for $6 every day until 6pm.
Lovely cottage, excellent food and very welcoming of our pup - found by accident, will return!
Outstanding wine selection. And $6 per glass before 6. Party of 6 and all our meals were delicious. Bruschetta wonderful.
Excellent as always, very accommodating staff, will come again
Excellent food, wine, and ambiance as always! Also a great Santa Fe value.
Everything was outstanding. Both the ribeye and Branzino were cooked perfectly.
One of the locals’ favorites. Small and intimate spaces. The wine list is the star, even offering half bottles of many excellent wines. The menu is small, but everything on it is good.
We went here again for a special meal. We have come to Santa Fe every year and the last three times we ate at Terra Cotta Never fails a wonderful meal great selection. Wine list is superb. Patio dining is really really nice. And if you’re lucky enough to be there on a night when there is music it’s magical!!!! Prices are reasonable given the quality and quantity of their entrées and starters. Their salads cheese boards and bruschetta are amazing. The salmon plank and the crabcakes are delicious entrées. The food alone is a reason to go! But, add to it the really nice surroundings and romantic atmosphere and it’s a winner every time.
We had an amazing dinner here - I loved my salmon, and my husband praised the crab cakes. Very nice people and a professional server. Because it was our 40th wedding anniversary, our daughters (one in Minnesota, one in Seattle) decided to treat us and told us it was wonderful to work with the owner/manager, who set aside the champagne they had selected so that it would be available. And what a surprise that the dinner was entirely paid for by these generous girls, including the mango sorbet dessert. We will be back to this delightful restaurant - my only regret is not having discovered it earlier.
Great experience in back courtyard. We loved bruschetta and large wine selection and live guitar music.
Amazingly delicious meals. Just can't get over how perfect everything was. My husband had the chicken and he let me try a bite. Chicken is usually not special to me, but wow. That chicken was the juiciest, most flavorful chicken I've ever had. I had the salmon with brown sugar and whole grain mustard. It was cooked perfectly at medium rare. Flavorful and delicious. Oh, and how can I forget the watermelon salad? Loved it. Unusual, fresh, refreshing, light. Wine was wonderful and so was the attentive service. Highly recommend!
We met friends for dinner last night and truly enjoyed the food and the service. We haven't been to the restaurant since COVID hit and closed everyone down, so I was glad that the restaurant survived and the food was still wonderful. They do have a lovely patio if you reserve in advance, so I would recommend doing that. I have been there 3 times and have always been seated in the back room. I look forward to experiencing the main dining room at a future date.
After the opening of Santa Fe to tourism post pandemic this remains a dependable good restaurant..The menu is interesting and uses local seasonal offerings. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced...The dessert are very good .The waitstaff is professional and pleasant....All of this combines for a pleasant evening..
One of the better wine lists in Santa Fe not only for value, but also for the way in which it is organized.
Excellent; thanks Glenda, Catherine and Linda! You make me and my guests feel special every time!
Loved the personality of the place and the owner and servers.
We have eaten here before and was impressed. Last night disappointed. Fish was overcooked and the Branzino was chewy and fishy tasting - could not even finish the very thin piece of fish.
They were so very kind and accommodating. We requested a change to the time of our reservation because of storms and flash flooding. Our guests were very impressed with the food and ambience.
Stumbled on this restaurant while visiting Santa Fe years ago. Had a great meal then, and have continued to go when we return to the area. This trip didn’t disappoint. Our son in law, who manages a nice higher end restaurant in Brooklyn, remarked “we’ve had many great meals and some stellar dishes in our week here. But in terms of overall experience—the food, they way the dishes complemented each other, service, ambiance—this was the best!
Can’t add much more too that recommendation!
Maybe we ordered the wrong items. My wife wanted the cheese plate for an appetizer. Didn't care for it at all. I had a BBQ plate for dinner. it was OK... My wife had a salad with Salmon and liked it.
The wine and food is always amazing, the staff is friendly and efficient. Great for groups of friends with different dietary need.
This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Fe. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly and cozy and the owners are wonderful to all of their guests. I had a wonderful birthday celebration there!!!!
Excellent service. great wine list. fresh ingredients. Outstanding dining experience.
This was our second visit in less than a week. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Food was sensational. We enjoyed the bruschetta with a wonderful bottle of wine before dinner. Our entrees of planked salmon and trout special were very tasty and perfectly prepared. Terra cotta is an undiscovered jewel in a town with outstanding restaurants.
Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Owners and staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely patio dining.
This was our first visit ( with many to come).... the owners and staff are knowledgeable and friendly, they have a menu to cover pretty much any taste including vegetarians, and they have a Wine Spectator award winning wine list. Go and see for yourself!
This is one of our favorites when we visit our second home in Santa Fe.
The entire menu is great. Service is friendly and attentive. The owner-chef visits all patrons to ensure a great experience. In addition, the wine list is outstanding. A must visit.
This is an amazing restaurant with great atmosphere and food.
Always Great !
Beautiful atmosphere for “smart casual” dining. Great wine list. The salmon with mustard and brown sugar glaze was amazing as was the crab cakes. Save room for the key lime pie!
BEST FOOD, great menu, great service. We sat outside and it was quaint and quiet, surprisingly comfy chair. One of the owners/ chef spoke with us briefly and that was fun.
This lovely little restaurant has it all! Delicious food, beautiful surroundings, great wine and wonderful staff. We visited twice during our week in Santa Fe. Chef Mary Catharine chatted with us on both of our visits, and she was a delight! We tried several appetizers, bruschetta, the ahi tuna salad, and the branzino. Everything was delicious! I only wish we lived in Santa Fe so we could visit more often.
Excellent Thai coconut soup and salmon salad, while my partner had onion soup and rib eye
A true gem in Santa Fe! This one must not be missed when you visit.
The food was fantastic. The owner (and chef) talked with my wife and I throughout the night. She recommended starters and insisted on giving us samples when we weren’t sure what to eat. We weren’t the only table she gave extra attention to either. You can tell she loves cooking and seeing people enjoy what she makes. I will definitely be back.
We dined twice here the week we were in Santa Fe, the first time a walk-in and they accommodated us. Lovely atmosphere and varied menu served by a caring and efficient staff. Indulge in the starters and sweets - everything we ordered was delicious, unique and prepared with care. We loved it so much after the first time we booked for a second experience and we’re not disappointed.
A friend and I had the bruschetta platter which was flavorful and an excellent starter to the plank salmon with green salad. It was matched with a large wine selection. The tables were well spaced, it was easy to hear each other, and the surroundings, lovely.
Loved it! Good wine list, delicious food, great and friendly service
Wonderful food wonderful staff. Loved it. Glad I saw the chef on the show Chopped because the food was wonderful. The restaurant is a little small for a wheelchair though but that’s my fault being handicapped
Really nice staff. However, the kitchen was slow and food lacked flavor. We booked two days of reservations based on our 2019 experiences there, but canceled the second one based on our recent experience. It’s not the same place it was pre Covid unfortunately.
Great food. Good service. Consistently our favorite.
