We are truly excited to be a part of downtown Everett's dining scene. Our goal is to not only thrive as a distinguished neighborhood restaurant, but also as a destination for surrounding communities with food, family and celebration as our driving force.
Our cooking style centers on traditional Asian dishes created with "fresh ingredients from local farmers and suppliers". Our executive chef, Jimmy Liang, is classically trained in the European style and has worked at many of the most prestigious restaurants in the area including the Herb Farm. We pride ourselves on creating distinctive dishes utilizing multiple layers of cooking techniques and flavors. We call it "Modern Asian Cooking".

The last couple of times we have eaten here, I was worried the food was starting to go down hill. This time, it was really great! Everyone loved the food and the portions were good. Server was sweet and helpful!

I have been there 4 times now, and loved the food. I took a friend from out-of-state for a special lunch. The appetizer (calamari) was great, as was the contain, however the two dishes we chose to share were mediocre at best. The special chicken was tepid and watery and the Terra Rice was rice--loads and loads of rice. We hunted for the shrimp, which seems newly de-frosted and there were about 4--the other protein was scarce to say the least. I hate it when I take people to a restaurant I promise to be good and am disappointed! This was my first lunch trip--perhaps more care is given during the dinner hour.

We helped this en route to a weekend camping trip and wanted a tasty, not too involved, healthy meal. We super enjoyed our meal - the service was excellent - friendly and professional. The food choices were great - we don't eat meat other than fish and they were able to offer lots of options -including lots of gluten free ones. We didn't have cocktails, but they looked seriously yummy! Only downside was that they didn't take any chances with their spice/flavor levels. That being said, I didn't ask them to make our dishes extra spicy. SO, I wouldn't say it's a super foodie destination. (But who knows - the meat dishes looked well prepared!) Overall, such a nice on the road dining experience!

Got there early, seated immediately, had a Lychee Martini, my wife had a Rosemary Bliss, both were great. Our friends arrived, got a beer and a wine while we talked and caught up. We ordered an appetizer(beef skewers) and continued to relax and chat. We ordered wine and hot & sour soup and continued to chat. We ordered four dishes, 3 were fantastic, one was good. Had a great time and prompt friendly service without any pushiness. Will go back regularly.

They need a fan, vent or open some windows extremely smoky from the cooking in the kitchen.

The meal was excellent! The service was fantastic, friendly and prompt. The only downside was the hostess, who couldn't be bothered to make eye contact, as she showed us to our table. Acted like she was bothered, that we were there. Otherwise, the food and service were excellent, and I'd definitely come again.

I ordered the chicken dish from their Fresh Sheet. It was wonderful! The best I have ever had there and I have eaten there many times. Also, the Terra Salad is a must.

Kind of terrible hot & sour soup really set the tone. Like watery catsup it was too sweet and was neither hot nor sour. The soup was so singularly bad I actually remember very little of the rest of the meal. My dining companions tell me their lamb dish was good, but I don't actually recall it. Perhaps it's just the one dish but ew, not going back.

Lavender encrusted duck, yum! Shrimp with walnuts, omg! The kali was spectacular. I love this chef!! The restaurant is a little loud but doesn't take away from the food. It's all about the food!

Terra Cotta Red is the first place I think of when friends ask what my favorite restaurant in Everett is. The staff is always friendly and helpful; the food is always bursting with flavor served quickly after ordering.

My wife and I truly enjoy this spot. Food and drink menu is great and the execution of dishes is always spot on. The place is usually hopping when we're there so the volume level can be a slight challenge, but it's never been an issue. The wait staff is warm and friendly, but staffing levels seem to be a bit low so you might not see as much attentive service as you would in other place. Again, not a big issue for us. All in all a fantastic restaurant and one we go to repeatedly.

Too noisy to talk.
GFO choice on menu for vegan meal was tasteless. Maybe use some gluten free soy sauce?
5 slivers of tofu were hard to find. Needed more tofu.
Wine was good.

Quality food, wonderful service, total dining experience. We made online reservations and arrived early, to which we were greeted with smiles and given a wonderful table in the lounge. Our server was very professional and took our orders and made wonderful suggestions that improved our dining experience. Food came in a timely matter although this was a busy Saturday. Would recommend the dining experience although it is a bit loud in the dining room to carry on normal conversation.

My boyfriend & I decided to try out the restaurant after numerous reccomendations. We ordered 3 gluten free entrées & shared. Plenty of food, tasted fresh, but it tasted... meh. We wondered if because we chose gluten free if that had any impact on how the flavor profile came across. Wasn't really memorable. Staff was very courteous though!

I hadn't seen my friend Emily in over a year; she was just back from England! We were so excited to see each other! It was our first time at Terracotta Red. We loved the food. We had one of the fresh specials. I have never tasted mushrooms like that in my life! They tasted like (healthy) candy! We had several other items as well, including the Kung Pao chicken. Everything was delicious. The ambience was very nice. Emily and I are nice and friendly and happy people and we were on cloud nine to see each other. The waitress looked lovely but seemed *extremely* stressed and rushed. We arrived right at 11am, when the restaurant opens - we had made reservations in advance - and there were only 3 other people there, maybe she was stressed about opening up the restaurant. However, she could not be bothered to smile even once. I didn't like that. She also took about 2 seconds at our table every time that she stopped by. Any sort of friendliness or warmth was completely absent. Emily and I enjoyed our time there anyway but if great service means a lot to you, maybe pick a different restaurant. It was worth it though for us, for the food and the ambience.

I was in Everett for business and chose Terracotta Red based on the numerous reviews. The food was not all impressive----overcooked, dry and the sauce for the Halibut smothered any flavor the fish had left.

My wife had a view of the chef. She said he looked less than confident and it was not the usual guy. Sorry I forget the chef's name who has been pure perfection in the past.
Thai Spiced Calamari was greasy, one of my usual favorites. Beef and Brocolli had a gelatin consistency to the sauce which was strange and the normal flavor wasn't there. Finally the brownie dessert was the driest brownie I have had in a long time. We'll go back, but look to see who is cooking behind the counter before taking our seats. My wife requested I not complain, but I really did not like signing the bill of $100+ with tip.

Terracotta Red is a great restaurant. We have eaten here many times and on several occasions we shared our evening here with friends. The only thing we don't enjoy is that there is a lot of background noise They have many dishes to choose from including gluten free! Everything we have ever tried here has been exceptional!!!

We've been wanting to visit this place for quite a while and are glad we finally did. The food is very good, with strikingly tasty sauces and good quality ingredients at a good value. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. For us as a couple there are only two downsides: we tend to want to eat late, and this is definitely not a late night dining place. We were there by 7:40, and it felt like the place was close to closing when we left, even though the hours say 10 pm. Also, the ambiance is pretty bare and was fairly noisy even though there were only a few diners at the time. At a busy time it must be very noisy. I'd encourage the owners to work more on the ambiance, which wouldn't take much to improve. But I would definitely return for the quality of the food and am glad this restaurant is located in Everett, which could use more such quality establishments. I encourage others to patronize this and other restaurants in Everett, so even more of them open up!

We arrived 5 minutes late due to Thanksgiving traffic. They gave our table away. The hostess seemed confused that we had a reservation. When I noted we hit traffic she quickly said 'yeah we had to give your table away because you are late' as if that would cover her lack of managing our reservation. We left as we had tickets to an event.

The service was extremely slow. It was over an hour from the time we came in until we received our food. The food was ok, but nothing special. It was too expensive for what you got. You have to pay extra to have a vegetable, as everything is a la cart. The food was similar to P. F Changs but not as good and much more expensive. I would not recommend this place or go back.

The food was incredible and our waitress was this amazing spunky woman who was awesome. The noise level on a Saturday evening was so loud that it was impossible to talk. But we were busy stuffing our faces with delicious food anyway.

We came to celebrate my daughter's 51st birthday. We had a hard time finding it in the dark but called and got better directions. The staff was totally friendly, the food was served hot an timely, and all was well. We will be going there again. At first the menu was a little confusing but the waitress answered all our questions.

The complexity and texture of the lamb and related flavors was an absolute knockout. It is worth the trip just for the opportunity to sample this dish alone. Amazing and kudos..and consistently excellent service and great wine pairing

We visited at dinner. The most glowing part about our meal was the server and the service in general - very friendly and welcoming. This restaurant was very busy and we had been intending to try it for the last year or so. The peanut sauce needs definite improvement. The drunken chicken was just so-so and the Mongolian beef was "chewy." Very nice environment though. We will probably return at some point, but will try other dishes.
