We had a delightful brunch in a place we know very well over the years! For some reason, our dining experience all around was better than we anticipated as we have had below ave experiences in restaurants since covid! Karen, our waiter, was most pleasant, attentive , considerate, accommodating as 2 if us are elderly..we appreciated her patience. It wasn’t hectic, busy in the restaurant so that seem to improve the ambience and service. The live classical guitar music was superb! Thank you all for making our brunch experience most lovely!

We like to go to Terrace once a month, as we live in Williamsburg. However I noticed the last 3 times service is ok, not excellent as it used to be. It seems they do not have enough people working there, so everything takes a long time , from the drinks to appetizers to the meal.

A lovely experience from start to finish. Arrived earlier than reservation and welcomed. Friendly Bartender made great old fashioned drinks, though they were pricey ($40 for 2!). Loved our waitress, though did not catch her name. She had a great sense of humor and took great care of us. Food was special…. roasted oysters both delightful and memorable. We had a great evening and would recommend.

It was a birthday celebration. We ordered the chicken pot pie and the 1937 burger. The chicken pot pie was room temperature at best and the pastry was stale and tasteless. When I said something to the waitress she just smiled and said ok. I didn’t want to make a fuss and make a bad situation worse but this restaurant was a very disappointing experience.

This is for a special occasion. Our server Karen was top notch. Best server we have had. The food was amazing! We both had the filet and was delicious. Atmosphere was wonderful. All of the staff have one hung in common, excellent customer service to the guest. We were very impressed

Beautiful room!! Took a long time to get our cocktails and were brought to us one by one. Charcuterie platter was large enough for our table of 4 and contained interesting cheeses, meats and bread. Pumpkin soup thick and creamy and very tasty. Chicken pot pie, pork and duck entrees were all very good. Desserts were pretty disappointing. Crème brûlée was just ok and sesame profiterole was dry and tasteless. All in all, an expensive dinner with so so service and ok meal.

We attended the special "Autumn Harvest Afternoon Tea" in the Goodwin Room - the food was exemplary, the decor beautiful, the service impeccable - our servers Karen, Sydney, Ferhat and the managers Danny and Angel were all attentive and extremely efficient - the Irish Haarpist who played live Irish Harp music to accompany our tea was delightful - highly recommend the Afternoon Tea Expericnes in the Goodwin Room of the Williamsburg Inn

We are always delighted and most pleased with our time in the Terrace Room. Cuisine is scrumptuos, setting just the way we like it, and the service with the Romanian and Madagascar folks is just exquisite. Most enjoyable to interat with each of them. High marks all around.

Sad that an iconic place has so little going for it. Still has all the service flourishes, but an “heirloom” tomato salad that employed grape tomatoes instead of an actual tomato?…in August? They either don’t care, or can’t afford to serve real food. Just sad…

The Terrace Room at the Williamsburg Inn is a beautiful place to enjoy a gourmet brunch. The food was surprisingly delicious and served tastefully. The dessert "tray" consisted of sample size servings of sic different desserts from tortes to milkshakes and more, each delicious in it's own way. I would highly recommend this special dining experience.

The food and the atmosphere were both great! Had the burger and my wife had the rabbit. Both were outstanding! Maria, the bartender, is a superior craftsman. Although everyone was terrific, she stood out!

The food was good, but I requested them to do something special to celebrate the birthdays and anniversary of my parents, and there was nothing done, which I was disappointed about as that was the whole point in going to a nice dinner. Also be cautious of OpenTable booking, as I selected standard for the Terrace Room and they seated us outside…not what we were expecting. Luckily, they were kind enough to accommodate the issue.

I ordered a cheese plate and it came with 2 pieces of burnt sandwich bread - no lie. The grapes were old and should have been thrown away, not served. The vines were black and dried up and the grapes were shriveled. While the kitchen shouldnt have sent that out, our server shouldn’t have delivered it either. Frankly is was an embarrassment. Odd thing is that two weeks earlier I ordered the same thing at the bar and it was lovely. The peach gazpacho was amazing, but the tiny bowl was set down on the open slatted table with no plate underneath which was awkward as it was an uneven surface. Server never returned to pour our wine (ordered a bottle of $50 rose that came barely chilled). She seemed truly not to know that she should have come by to do that. Outside patio was beautiful, though not enough for me to return.

Dinner for two on Saturday evening. The atmosphere and service was quite nice. However, the grilled, bone-in pork chop was literally RAW. Also, the Chilean Sea Bass had the taste and smell of spoiled fish. No exaggeration. Nether dish could be eaten! Regretfully, we had to complain and management agreed. Poor quality control!

Really disappointed with my Cesar salad and salmon ,got it the week before and was amazing this time lettuce was charred and 2 anchovies and a ordinary piece of salmon ,when I had it previously it was with nuts and various dried fruit so it looked appealing ,which it was feel could not recommend this

Outstanding experience for our date. I had the filet and she had that night’s special, which was breaded salmon over a mushroom risotto. Both were perfectly prepared, with very large portions. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance was perfect. I’d give six stars if I could. We will definitely return.

It was a beautiful night. The music performed by a daughter and a father was outstanding. Service was very slow and confused. At first the waitress didn't know who was gonna be our server and for this reason we had to wait about 15 minutes to order our drinks and appetizers.
